The food never shows up and they just cancel your order without asking you after making you wait 3 hours.

The given ratings for the ordered foods never showed up. Their system does not work properly at all. How can the restaurants get to know about our opinions?
I don't use it anymore to place my orders.

I made two orders on the same night in Berlin, Germany. The Lieferheld page accepts any phone number and I had no problems making an account. After the first order did not arrive, I made a second order (since I was expecting more people anyways). Apparently the first restaurant tried to find the place, didn't, decided they wouldn't call my cell number (which Lieferheld did accept), but did not cancel the order. The other restaurant, pure coincidence, did the same. I have received food at my home with the same phone number/address/name etc. from Domino's and other delivery places. The problem with Lieferheld is that they refused to refund my money. They even encouraged I speak to the restaurant and have them cancel the order. This is wrong: Lieferheld takes your money and therefore is responsible if something in their system impedes the realization of a normal transaction (money for food). They have offered coupons that do not cover the full extent of the money I spent (around 45€) and I believe in these cases they should issue a full reimbursement. Very bad experience , and shows that the company is only interested in taking the customer's money in any case and keeping it if something goes wrong. NOT RECOMMENDED.

They dont deserve a Star at all
-similar happened to me as the person that wrote below me.
I ordered a German dish.it was Rahmschnitzel. After 1,5 hour wait I received my order.it was the worst I have ever seen.
The "rahmsauce" was a liquid mixed with a powder that didn't even properly spread -so it was kinda water in yellow color and the schnitzel were cold and didn't look -or either taste like schnitzel at all.
When I tried to contact nobody answered and when I got in a chat with support service person all they answered with was that they dont know what they can do for me and I can't get my money back even when I send them a Picture of the dish.
Most of the dishes of that website were a dissapointment,okay not all of them.
But to prevent I definitively not going to order at all ever on this side.As there support service is not really helpful and does not care about the restaurants and the order or about their clients who order trough them.

I get carrot Biryani.
I call restaurant they ask me to call Lieferheld.
I call Lieferheld they say "WE ARE ONLY MIDDLE MAN BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND RESTAURANT. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT THE RESTAURANT DELIVERS."
I am hungry and it's 22:45. This is what I get.
Please don't get cheated like me.
Never trust Lieferheld.

They say they accept AMEX, but after placing the order and going to payment no AMEX is taken. Customer care phone number is another joke, ladies with a strong accent, quality of the call is as if you were calling to the moon. Overall a bad experience, tried many times, nothing changes.

After 2 hours since I booked my order, the food was still not there. I called customer service, who didn't speak English. In my bad German, I explained that my food was still not delivered. The guy promised me to check up and phone me back. But he never did. 1,5 hours later, my food arrived- but the delivery-woman had forgotten my drinks. Do not use this service.
