I had to call Last Minute Travel 4 times... at the end ended up paying way more than advertised. I purchased a Too Good To Be True deal from LMT because it was significantly cheaper versus their competitors Expedia, hotwire, etc... but turns out that deal didnt include All Inclusive when it showed All inclusive! Wtf! So i called LMT 4 times. Pretty much i got bamboozled and have to pay $600 more. Smh. Never again I reserve anything from Last Minute Travel

I booked through google and they use lastminutetravel. It shows one cancellation policy and books with another. Thank god I took the screenshot otherwise they wouldn't believe me. Just stay away! Not worth it.

I used this site to book a hotel a month in advance. It said I could cancel my reservation and get a full refund. I've tried twice to get my money back, and they've ignored my request multiple times, and it's been over a month. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

I used last minute travel to book a hotel in Miami. The prices were the lowest for a 4 star hotel in Miami and I've stayed there before and know it is a very nice hotel. I read some mixed reviews, so after booking I called the hotel to confirm my reservation because I was afraid it was too good to be true. Everything was set and confirmed! Unfortunately, hurricane Irma disrupted our plans. Last minute travel was completely understanding of the situation that is beyond anyone's control and refunded me all of my money. I will definitely use them again to book our vacation once the hurricane is over. Between airlines and my cruise being cancelled, they were the only people that took care of the situation quickly and efficiently.

Booked hotel rooms for my employees a month in advance and when they checked in the hotel, they were told that their reservations were cancelled! The company never emailed me about any reservation cancellation and my employees were left paying for their own rooms! Called them and customer service was horrible and were not willing to help or honor the reservation again, instead offering to book with new reservation at a much higher rate! Unacceptable!!! This business needs to be shut down stat!!

They will charge you for resort fees but keep them and then the resort will charge you again.....BUT WORST...they will set up recurring charges on your credit card without your permission so they can charge your credit card month after month!!!! I just had to get a new credit card because there was no other way to stop the recurring charges.

They sell you airline tickets that do not exist. Then after you have traveled to the airport and waited several hours because there was a weather delay, email you that your reservation was cancelled. The reason being they say is because there was trouble with your credit card. But....... this is not true, the bank allowed in the small fee that is sometimes sent ahead of the whole transaction and then Lastminutetravel did not send a transaction. Attempts were not made to make the charge There was never a ticket available in the first place. I am irate and they are liars!
You should not have to be taking a chance on your transactions and definitely don't need to be waiting to board a plane that does not have a seat for you!
I will never used them again!

Hi. Is it true that if you get the name incorrect on the ticket as opposed to that on the passport because of a genuine mistake you have to pay a large amount to change it. I am shocked if yes.

Don't be tempted. I tried booking with them today a hotel at a slightly better price then other vendors. It clearly stated fully refundable, I took screenshots. When I received the email from them with my confirmation it was for a completely different hotel and non-refundable. I called them up and they refused to refund the money since their computer said it was non-refundable even though I offered to send screenshots.
They pretended to call the hotel to try to see if they could get a refund from the hotel, but the hotel was "closed". Never mind that five star hotels in Hong Kong don't close.
I'll be disputing this with my credit card company

Don't use last minute travel to book a hotel online!
I was on their website on my iPhone a few nights ago and tried to book a room.
I entered all of my information and clicked to book the room.
I kept getting an error that my booking didn't go through so I booked a different hotel through a different site.
A few days later I checked my credit card balance online and noticed 6 PENDING CHARGES for the same amount. I tried to dispute the charges with Capital One so they connected us in a 3 way call.
After providing them the information for the date I tried to book they tell me they have no record of a booking under my name (which makes sense since I got an error saying that my booking wasn't processed). The charges are still pending on my credit card and I am waiting for them to drop but at this point they are still pending.
I will definitely not be using them again!! Beware!

I booked a room well in advance using this site even got a confirmation. When i showed up, hotel said they are sold out. I made a call to these people and they didn't had any clue about it and the guy said he will refund the money. But when i got my statement the charge was still there, so i called them and they didn't had any record of my call for that day. What a waste... These guys should close their shop sooner than later as they won't survive longer like this. Seems like a scam

Last Minute Travel is a joke. I recently went to a wedding and stayed at a hotel with all of the other guests. Come to find out, they all got a much better rate (by as much as $80/nt) through other websites and even directly through the hotel. When I called LMT to ask if they do any kind of price match, they said they didn't. Even when I asked if they would do some sort of credit for future use to retain a customer who doesn't trust their site any longer, they said No. Obviously, all they care about is making the sale, ripping people off and don't care about keeping customers.

Booked Harry Potter studio tour tickets through this company, travelled a long way to the UK at great expense extended our holiday and planned it all around for this tour. 2 days before I got a call to say they had overbooked tickets for that day and they could only offer us tickets for the week after (which we couldn't extend our holiday any longer for) or a refund, no compensation, no explanation.
Very poor customer service. Also hard to get in contact with anyone US based and time difference issue. Customer service rep didn't even know what the time difference was.
I can't stress enough the disappointment and expense this has caused. I wouldn't definitely not trust them with a full holiday.
DON'T EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY

The place is filthy and run down. The staff is horrible, uncooperative, rude. It is a very shady area. DO NOT GO THERE. It is not even 1 STAR*
The pictures are not relevant to the state of the hotel at the moment, The food from breakfast was out at 11:45 pm. The first room #134, was already lived in at the night managers surprise and the door lock was broken. We stayed because when it was all done it was 1 am and we had to go at 6 am to the airport.

I have never experienced such poor customer experience.
I reserved a week long hotel stay for business. I have to report my expenses to my employer with taxes separate from rates, per night. Their original receipt had just a lump sum total. When I got to my hotel I upgraded my room to relocate closer to the entrance, for $10 per night. Because I did this, I got a receipt from the hotel that exposed all taxes and rates on that nightly $10 upcharge.
This is a report of my efforts to obtain an accounting of my taxes from limit club:
1st attempt: Contacted customer support, transferred to accounting yes sir we will send you a broken out receipt shortly. No receipt.
2nd attempt: Contacted customer support, transferred to accounting yes sir we will send you a broken out receipt shortly. No receipt.
3rd attempt: Contacted customer support, transferred to accounting yes sir we will send you a broken out receipt shortly. No receipt.
4th attempt: Contacted customer support, transferred to accounting yes sir we will send you a broken out receipt shortly. I received a receipt that broke out room rate by day, and taxes as 1 lump sum. Taxes was 4.5% higher than it should be and I needed it broken out by day.
5th call: This time I called the number on the receipt which was to a company called Tourico Holiday, Inc. I dialed the appropriate extension 6, my call was disconnected.
6th call: tried Tourico Holiday, Inc again. I dialed the appropriate extension 6, my call was disconnected.
7th call: tried Tourico Holiday, Inc again. I dialed extension 0, got a nice sounding lady who then offered to transfer me to the right department, I was placed on hold. After 3 minutes of hold music the line went mysteriously silent. I gave it a couple more minutes then hung up.
8th call: tried Tourico Holiday, Inc again. I dialed extension 1, was transferred to accounting. After holding for 15 minutes, the line was hung up.
9th call: Called limit club 1-900 number. Got a nice sounding guy. I explained I was very unhappy and wanted to speak with a manager. He tried to help me by basically providing me with a copy of the lump sum receipt I originally got. I said that will not do. He transferred me to a supervisor. She told me that their system did not provide them with a taxes breakout, she would have to calculate it manually. So she just took my lump sum total, subtracted out the correct hotel tax rate and gave that to me. Then I told her the receipt I received the previous day directly from accounting had a completely different tax total on it. She transferred me to accounting, after 45 minutes of being on hold, accounting came on the line and told me that they were sorry but whoever from accounting sent me the previous receipt miscalculated the tax rate.
The amount of time I spent trying to get my taxes broken out on my receipt was ridiculous. And in the end it sounds like they had to manually calculate it. I cannot understand how an accounting department has to manually calculate taxes, and guess at my charges, instead of providing documented evidence of what I was actually charged. I have little confidence that at the end of this whole nightmare, I got a receipt of actuals. I suspect they just fudged the numbers to appease me and get me off the phone.

I have used lastminutetravel.com for several hotel bookings in NYC- The Surrey ($226) per night plus tax and Trump Toronto ($220) per night and Toronto Shangri La ($235) per night.
All 5* hotels at significant discounts. If you contact them directly you can often get a better rate or additional perks. On ALL occasions the hotel had our reservation. Always use them.
Most of the complaints are for "Lastminute.com" out of the UK. They are not the same company!

After hours on the phone and no effort to reach a reasonable solution, only passing off the baton because "our system can't do that" or "we can't even find your hotel in our system" or after trying 4 hours to book a different hotel finding out that "we can't book hotels on the same day", me and three other college kids on spring break ended up with a reservation one day shorter than what we needed and only found out when we were asked to check out of our hotel a day earlier than planned. What a solid way to end spring break. Go with a more well known company so you don't get screwed over.

Did hotel search on the last minute travel website and they came up the as the most reasonable price for the hotel we were wanting to stay at. Booked the hotel, received confirmation and an email was sent to my account. All was good I thought. Next morning an email arrived stating "Your reservation has been cancelled as the information you have provided does not match the credit card used. Your charges have been fully refunded. Please contact your bank to verify your information before resubmitting a new reservation. Please be advised, all transactions are subject to verification of information provided and may be cancelled due to verification failure." Did phone my bank and they said the transaction was pending and being posted as it was still going through. We went over my account info to see if something was not matching but everything was fine as I expected as I have NEVER had this issue before. Phone Last Minute Travel, was told "something" was not matching but they could not tell as it gave them no info on the issue other than the same statement I received via email. They did mention that it is being canceled and that I "qualified for no extra charges" and all my funds would be returned. So as not to have this issue arise again I phoned the 'Sales" number to make sure there would be no issues. Speaking to them I was told they could not make the reservation due to the previous issue, this was even after phoning customer service and getting the reservation number. So needless to say I have not been able to book a hotel through this useless website or company. This is how I see it. They take your reservations and hope they can fill them after the fact and if they cant they cancel for whatever reason they wish to make up. They will not do the reservations in person as that does not give them the ability to cancel without reason. So basically they have phished your info and I am sure sell if as that is about the only way I can see them make any money what so ever???? My suggestion is to pay the slightly more price found through Trivago or where ever and be glad you never had to deal with this entity. Time I wasted and never will get back.

While I thought I was booking a room at the Hyatt Place on the National Mall in Washington DC for $144 per night for two nights, they booked me for $291.80 per night and charged my credit card at that rate. When I discovered the problem on check in, the clerk told me that if I walked in off the street, the room would only cost $159. Last minute Travel support by phone and web form was unwilling to even see this as a problem.

I stayed on hold trying to cancel a reservation for 45 minutes and kept hearing a recording that I sixth in line. I called back and pushed "1" for a new reservation. Guess what!!! I talked to a person immediately! However, that person was "unable to help me" and he put me on hold again! I have now been on hold another 30 minutes.
THIS COMPANY IS A FRICKING FARSE! DO NOT USE THEM.

I read so many negative reviews for this website that I wanted to share my experience for people who might be hesitant to use this site. I have a hotel booked that is usually $140/night and, using the app, I got it for $100/night. I have called the hotel several times to confirm that it was actually booked and every time they tell me it is. Whenever I call the customer service for lmt.com, I haven't had a long wait time and I get a real person. So I won't be checking into the hotel for another 2 weeks but it seems like it is going to work out and if I had believed all the bad reviews, I would have missed out on saving $200.
***update 11/6/15*** I just wanted to update everyone to let them know that when I arrived at the hotel, everything went smoothly. They had the reservation with the correct dates and the correct amount of days and they even gave me a room with a view of the water.
