Ordered and was charged for subscription to the product not free sample. Phone number on credit card does not go to this company. Phone number on the email never answers customer service line, hold music is Indian music. Product was received OK after price negotiation every month but lately since Covid it skips a month. no way to contact them. will have to call my credit card company and get new card.

On 3-20-20 I gave my credit card # To La Pura in order to receive a free trial by just paying 4.95 shipping. I received 2 products and my card was charged $54.89. I tried without success the first week in April to reach them. This past week on 4-21-20 they auto shipped more product for $59.85. That is a total of $114.74 on my card. Today I finally reached them and they refused to return my money and ultimately offered to give me 50% off the April shipment minus the shipping charges. Which would amount to about $25. I told them no I would take it up with the BBB and my credit card company. I never agreed to a recurring auto ship. She told me because I used Mastercard instead of Visa it automatically signed me up for autoship! What a crock! Can you help me?

I gave my card number for a free sample of an eye cream sh ipping charges of $4.95 and la-pura started shipping me other unknown products that cost a lot of money. and charged my account without my permission. I refused to take them and the post office personnel told me I would not have to pay for shipping them back. After this la-pura shipped me more products and the post office sent them back. This company took $258.23 out of my account. I did not order any products from them and did not give them permission to charge me for those unordered products. I did not read anything that would sign me up for other things. This was completely something they did. I emailed them many times but they have not refunded me yet. I have tried to work this out with la-pura but no action yet, just it will take them 24 hours to process my claim. I has been 2months so I felt they need to be reported so other people can be warned.

THIS IS A HUGE SCAM! I had a pop up that flashed up on my phone. When I tried to x out of it, it ordered an anti-wrinkle and eye serum for $4.95. I figured that would be okay, so I went ahead and put in my address info. But, after that, they automatically added an anti-wrinkle cream for $3.95. I should have known then, that this was a scam. I tried to cancel it, but you cannot reach anyone to do so. Since that time, they have charged my credit card $174.57! I have put in a fraud report with my credit card company. My credit card company had to cancel my card and re-issue another one. They asked me to try to call La’pura again to tell them not to continue trying to charge me. However, you cannot get anyone to answer their phone! My credit card company gave me this number: 888-984-2501. The number La’pura put on my email confirmation (which of course didn’t have any amounts on it), was 833-409-5510. That number was disconnected all together. The third number I tried was on their form of the box they sent me. This third number was 855-207-3111.
Three phone numbers and yet no one to talk to! The first and third numbers had the same music playing, so I’m assuming they are all going to some central number where they have no intention of answering any calls. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY RIP YOU OFF!

As I recall I received an email offer of a sample skin care product that I thought might be worth trying, so I agreed to pay $4.97 for S&H. A very small jar (30 Ml) of la'pura Anti-Aging Cream was shipped; no paperwork telling me that I had 14 days to try it and would then have to pay $88.46. Nor did I know that ANOTHER jar would be shipped for $93+. I called to say no and was told that I had agreed to the charges and monthly shipments -- neither of which is a true statement. I am to refuse the next package and Sanjay, who took my call, offered to give me a discount of 35% on the first charge. I said, "No" -- I want the entire $88.46 refunded, so she "checked with a supervisor" and then offered 50%. Again I declined and told her it was an obvious scam. They claim that I agreed to the charges but say they have no proof, which must be accurate because I would NEVER agree to such terms and never would buy such an expensive product for my aging face. The cream reminds me of Pond's Vanishing Cream which my mother used 80 years ago. I doubt that it cost more than $2.00 for a jar of perhaps 90 Ml or more.

Scammed out of my money at Christmas
I was offered a special on face cream in my personal email from Walgreens. The ad said all I had to pay was $4.95. Instead, the website had me order 2 additional creams that I was not aware I was ordering and it totaled $34.00. Today I see 2 additional transactions totaling $172.00 from this company that I did not authorize.

WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!
This company will offer you anti-wrinkle and eye serum for $4.95 and $3.95. First off, when I agreed to buy just the eye-serum for 4.95 they threw in the anti-wrinkle free cream without my permission for $3.95. Should've just cancelled then, however, I said that's fine it's only $8.90. I ordered my product on March 20, 2019. March 28 rolls around and still no product. I call the number that I receive in an email. The guy on the phone gave me a fake name and he wasn't American, which is fine but they claimed to be an American company selling an American product. I also understand there are sometimes third party companies that are based out of other countries. I told them I never received my products. He claimed I did, I became upset and he became very unprofessional with me. All the while, they were pending a $89.99 charge out of my account. Mind you, you will not get their customer service number until after you pay. Once I saw this I called them back and demanded to speak with their manager, they hung up on me twice and called me out of my name. I tried to call them back for several days to no answer. They also attempted to take another $69.99 out of my account TWICE!!
