Refusing to pay out winners and giving no good reason is wrong . Especially as people paid out good money to help them win . You should be investigated

I understand the premise of this site and think the pets are adorable. I have not entered any pets into this. I find the whole idea of buying votes terrible and ridiculous. I don't understand the trading votes either. I just feel this is a very unfair contest. Someone who just won the dog photo, was bragging that she spent 5000.00 to win 2000.00 I'm just letting other people know this.

So i saw kingpet on an ad on Facebook once, i entered my two cats that had no votes at the start to end. I entered them again and it was fun unlocking achievements to use as votes for them, i still didn't win anything they ranked around 600 etc.
I entered them again and i shared the link on social media and to my family and friends, i told them to keep voting 10 times a day. My brother bought votes for my kitten and she ended up in 1st place.
Everything went down hill after that. The second place person bought votes and became 1st again. They were trying to get money for their poorly pet but they were using their own money to buy votes so it made no sense, plus i dont like people trying to get sympathy votes there is a vast amount of people with luxury cats that they apparently found and was about to die etc all for votes basically. I then bought votes and we both ended up in this rage to win, i bought votes they bought votes and it continued to the last minute of the competition till they gave up. I just wanted to be 1st for once as the 2nd place person had already won 1st place with their other cat. It was unfair. I must have spent a good £500 or more and they must have too. So we both lost out on winning money. My kitten won 1st place and id say i got some of my money back from the winnings. A refund is how i look at it. The rules with kingpet is that if you win 1st place you cannot enter again until 60 days have passed. I think it should be a year! Otherwise you can keep entering and the cycle of buying votes to be 1st place continues. Sounds like gambling right? Well thats because it is, it is not a friendly competition if you are competing with people by buying votes.
King pet also known as Playground Inc has a capital of $210.000. Then again thats how they make money, when you buy votes, they own various websites from baby pagents to beauty pagents and pet pagents etc. What a good business. I applaud the couple who came up with this business to be honest..
So anyway, my kitten won and i was short on my winnings to which i sent 11 emails to them until they understood they underpaid me, that's now sorted.
If you win they require ID such as a passport, i can see why, its so that you dont enter within 60 days again under a different user and a different pet etc, if you do and win again, you give your ID again and they will see you already won. So you dont win the money again..
If you enter your pet its a good publicity thing, problem is you need to be in the top 20 to get your pets image used on their social media pages.
You can enter your pet without purchasing votes, though unless you are a celebrity or have a fan base i dont see anyone else voting for you without the need to buy votes to remain 1st place.
Theres also alot of exchange votes with other competitors when they have exhausted their daily limit on their own pet.
Overall its good fun until you buy votes and your gambling phase starts.
Its nice to see other people's pets and i have voted for some of them in the new competition, its nice to see the range of pets to which my husband and i have seen a few breeds we didn't know about and now want one haha i dont think we would be buying anytime soon, i could have used that money to buy another pet but i gambled it, oh well.
Good luck to those who have or want to enter.
I now have a beautiful certificate that i will frame and a loss of £100 or more. It was fun though im done and wont be entering again, this is the appropriate thing to do that some people don't understand, it's to give others a chance to win, even if they make a loss but end up 1st place. Its nice to have a certificate at the end of it...

What a joke...makes it sound like you can vote for pets but it's really a contest of who can buy the most votes. Not a contest at all, total scam! Don't touch it with a barge pole-

You can earn achievements that you can save up to use in a competition. Things like voting for others, voting 7 days in a row, lots of things. Some give you 1000 votes.
That seems to be how people get so many votes by saving up achievements.
Yes others will buy votes for themselves but that is their choice.
I've entered contests and strangers have bought votes for my dog.
Having big social media following can help with voting as followers can vote for you and upto 10 times a day.

They should have it so that the winner cannot enter for 6 months or whatever.
It seems RIGGED.

Why is there a fee to use more votes. Also, why are contestants allowed to vote for themselves? Votes should only come from other contestants.

I seriously just want to have fun & show off our adorable Ragdoll/ Siamese purring snuggle kitten, Pangur Bán. #mc_comickitty
This is about having fun playing a game & checking out the pictures & stories of other adorable pets.
There should not be a charge to get more votes. Why do you offer that option?

Not fair.People have to buy 10,000 votes to put their pet at the top, seriously? What's the matter you don't have enough confidence in your pets beauty that's real nice. You have to buy votes or trade votes with people?can't this contest just be one on sheer honesty and your pets beauty?

Lots of my friends & contacts agree it appears Kingpet aren't averse to animal exploitation being as those who give you business by BUYING blocks of votes obviously get to the top of the leader board! How unfair is that?! Winning only means people have parted with money, its nothing to do with an animal being "worthy"! Stupid waste of time, I shan't be voting and I'm not wasting my time anymore. Wish to comment/refute this suggestion Kingpet??

That pretty much says it all! What else is there to say. It's a waste of time and money! If you aren't rich, you aren't going to win!

My cat was 1st all the way through for a cat to come in with over 70,000 in votes at the last minute and another cat to come in at 50,000 votes which eventually pushed mine to 4th. Kingpet obviously fixes it who is going to buy more than treble the votes to win crazy

Only way to win is to BRIBE other contestants by repeatedly voting for their pet over & over and "exchange votes". Contestants keep count by posting/commenting the number of the vote they "helped" or put in. (Example: person before you put in vote #70, you comment "71" under the pet you voted for's profile).
Only other way to win is by PURCHASING votes and side swiping the contestant in the lead, last second.
Also people get VERY mean and childish toward one another on there.

I paid $60 for a vote of 5000 points and voted for my friends cat. She was first for a couple of days then she went to second place then I paid for about 50000 vote for two days she was still at second place and i must have spend close to $5000 as my friend through a bad stage and i wanted to cheer her up so her cat can win the comp. i was in the middle of paying for my last 5000 points and the site went into finish mode saying the competition is over and there was one minute left as there was a time showing. Well I am going to contact my bank today and want a full refund as I think there is a fake winner who remains in first position so that people pay as they are desperate for their beloved pet to win. I voted for 20000 points in one day and could not go to first place again except on the last day of the comp. you are right it is ripping elderly pensioners off.

Site does not work unless you want to "pay to play". "Solutions" in FAQ/Help section don't work. Nor did ones they emailed to me. But if you click Paypal - hey no problem!

You people are running a scam. My mother is an elderly lady that is spending her lifes savings on your scam website. I have reported you to the Department of Justice for elder abuse. I have documents to back up my claims.

This is a website for "pet photo contests" in which they claim winners receive cash prizes. However, in order to claim a prize, they require all sorts of crazy information. When combined, this would lead to very easy identity theft. The require photo ID, bank account information, and even a PASSPORT. No way is this safe. If paypal and banks don't need you to submit a passport to deposit money, no way this company does. When I contacted customer service, I received text messages that sounded like a robot with very limited English ability. They never really answered any of my questions directly. Just stated things like "Passport to security members. Very secure."
