international customers ,beware...with this site you will spend more then intended.
i ordered 2 items,with 40% discount,i couldn t wait for my items to arrive.when they arrived i had the shock of my life,since i had to pay 100$ VAT.they have stated the full value of the item instead of stating the value i have payed for,with 40%discount.the shoes costed 202$,but i have bought them with the 40%of discount and actually payed111$.so,i belive you have to state as value the one that i payed for.what pissed me off the most was,that i actually emailed customer service and their guy Cornell,assured me that they state the value that i actually payed for.
i have emailed them about this,but as expected they haven t answered me.at least apologize,offer a refund,or a discount code,that shows that you care about your buisness and customers.what i thought i have gotten a great deal with the discount,i had to pay for VAT that were false declared.NEVER AGAIN!!!!

International Customers DO NOT BUY from Karmaloop
I was lied to by customer service who told me my order would take up to 2 weeks if I paid a little bit more for shipping, RUBBISH. It's been over 3 weeks and I haven't heard a thing about my order. Once they have your money they do not respond to your inquiries and simply ignore all your messages. They'll probably just point their finger at the poor DHL Global Mail service that they chose to offer, but the crap customer service is the thing I'm most frustrated about. I will NEVER buy from these guys again and warn everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.
Karmaloop doesn't respond to emails and inquiries on their site anyway, so these messages from Karmaloop reps are all lies and just them trying to save their reputation.

I have never in my life had such issues with getting items that I have paid for shipped. AND I AM NOT INTERNATIONAL! They can't even get domestic shipping right. They put up bogus tracking information that is virtually untraceable because they process the order, but never actually hand the product to the carrier. Also, since "Cornell" at Karmaloop could not locate my items, he promised to process a refund. Ironically, most of the rest of my items were shipped the next day, however, UPS still has not received the package. Any other half-brained retailer can ship items efficiently. Either this place is ran by a bunch or middle school dropouts on Valium, or they are completely unethical. Beware. Stay far away from this company and try and order from Zappos or Amazon. They have great customer service with people who actually have compassion and have the ability to ship your items efficiently.

well i bought a unif bundy jumper, and there was a good sale on, i found out the one item i wanted was not eligiable, the sale stated "...on orders over...". my order was well over that, it was misleading, i had one sales rep tell me i hadn't ordered enough, recieved item is faulty, they will not refund shipping as i paid for express to wear immediately, as im going for major surgery and will only be able to wear for a month, they will only refund shipping back after im out of pocket, when i paid for express this is unacceptable, their customer service is a joke! stay away! so now im left to get it fixed at my own expense if i wish to wear it at all. you can find their brands elsewear, use those sites do not use karmaloop!

Where do I begin? Like another user expressed, my order as well has been "processing" for FOUR days. The site claims to ship the item 12 hours in advance and asks you to wait 48 hours for tracking to update...but it's been FOUR days!
So, I called customer service. 3 times. The first two times someone picked up my call (after holding for AT LEAST 5 minutes!) and then HUNG UP. I couldn't believe it the first time, but when it happened again, I was speechless. What kind of service is this company running? Then when I called for the third time, the rep picked up the call and greeted me with "YES?" Not, "how can I help you"
Or even "hello", but "YES?" As if if my call was interrupting their day.
Beyond irritated with this company. Still no update with my order and for sure, I will never order from here again.

I had excellent experiences ordering from karmaloop via amazon, but when I ordered from their actual website it became an inexcusable pain. I ordered a pair of shoes and after seeing that my order was "processing" for several days and that the money already left my account, I contacted them. Apparently there was a mix-up with my billing information which I would not have known had I not reached out to them first.
Several people responded to me which was nice and for a few more days I was pleased thinking I was making some headway and that the problem was being fixed and I would get my shoes soon. Several more days went by, order still processing and the money still absent from my bank account. Frankly I just didn't want to deal with the hassle anymore so I reached out yet again this time to cancel the order.
I heard back from someone a day later and they said that the item was still in the warehouse and that they sent a request to cancel the order. I felt pretty content. Then two more days went by. Its been eight days now of the shoes being "processed" in the warehouse and my money being gone. I'm a little irate. I have no idea if these shoes will be canceled or ever show up and I certainly don't want to shop from karmaloop again. I can say that they have decent costumer service, they are speedy and very nice, but I don't know how much actually got accomplished. I just want to cancel this order and to get my money back. I don't have a lot of money, I just wanted to treat myself with something for Christmas once, but I'm regretting it because it seems I may have wasted $100 . :-(
If this gets fixed I'll update my review because I otherwise like karmaloop a lot, this is just a discouraging experience.

CANADIANS - DO NOT ORDER FROM KARMALOOP!!!!!!
I read the terrible reviews and thought to give them a chance anyway. My additional duty/customs/taxes/ brokerage fees etc. totalled over 50% of the purchase price!!!!! I have NEVER EVER had this problem before ordering from the US. And no, I am not some amateur online shopper. I order from American sites all the time.
Their international shipping problems, in my opinion, stem from two places. First, they quote the full retail value of your items, even if you got them on sale so you could potentially be paying customs two + times what you should. Second, they ship DHL. This means brokerage fees and almost always poorly calculated customs/taxes.
Until they start quoting the actual price paid (not full retail value) and shipping with USPS (they currently use DHL) I will not order from them. EVER. Nor should you.
1 star is generous.

UK Customers DO NOT use this website
Paid for a item that wasn't shipped until 10days after, its been nearly 3 weeks since it was shipped to the Germany Hub and still haven't received my item. Also because they don't have tracking for when it comes to europe i have no whereabouts of item. On top of that after emailing Karmalopp 3 times they still fail to respond to any of my emails.

UNACCEPTABLE.
Before I start, may I just say I'm a pretty patient person but this is just far too long. Decided to try KL for the first (AND LAST) time in October, spent over $100 and after a month of it not arriving I messaged them only for them to reply stating international orders take 2-4 weeks, which is all fine and well so I decided to wait another month before messaging again. This time I was told to ring up my postal courier, so I did, but they couldn't find it. Messaged them multiple times after this, no replies. It is now February, I have been waiting FOUR months, I have now moved from my old house it has taken that long. All I want is my money back, never had a problem with an online company like this before. Very disappointed.

Made a purchase from this website and upgraded my shipping(at an extra cost) so it would take a maximum of two weeks. It has been four weeks and still I have not recieved my parcel, so I sent them an email and they told me that my order is being processed in my residentual country (New Zealand) and it should arrive shortly. So I then checked on the DHL website and the package is currently all the way in Germany. I have made three individual puchases from this website and I can confirm that it is the last time. The customor service i recieved from Karmaloop is appauling, they just seemed to avoid my issue and say my package will arrive shortly every time I emailed them and they have not even offered to refund the extra money I paid for my shipping. On the previous occassion I brought a pair of Beats by Dre headphones and the headphones I recieved were full of faulty wires and and scratches and fingerprints on them, and Karmaloop did not even bother for a refund or exchange. For anyone wanting to purchase from this website I urge you to take your money elsewhere as you are only likely to encounter problems

Of course, they always have huge deals but most of the time, you're not eligible to access those sales because your items are not included. The shipping took way longer than said and the customer service is pure $#*!. The shoes I ordered were scratch everywhere and they couldn't help me with anything. She was rude and unheplful. I'm definitly not purchasing there ever again

I ordered with them on Christmas and its been a month that I haven't received my products. The reason is because Karmaloop sent it to the wrong address!!! I checked my delivery status and I found out that they sent it to Brampton,Ontario when I live in Montreal,Quebec. I though that I made a mistake but when I checked the receipt that they sent to me via my email after my purchase, it was the correct address. I called them and they said that it was basically my fault that I put down the wrong address until I sent them my receipt and my order number. She was still saying that it was my fault until I responded: "$#*! I ordered with another $#*!ing online company( Brian Lichtenberg) with the $#*!ing same shipping company and address in the same day and I just received the shirt 2day. So don't be there saying that it's my freacking fault when its yours.' The assistant immediately said the she couldn't understand why and that I have to wait that the stranger sent the package back to the warehouse. DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT A $#*!ING UNKNOWN STRANGER WILL AND KNOW WHERE TO SEND U BACK THE TEES WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EVEN CONTACTED HIM???? 110$ down the drain. I'm disappointed with them and I will never order with them again. I am not a amateur online shopper and I ordered with various other websites before.

I am pissed. I have spend thousands of dollars with Karmaloop but this last order is my final straw. I collect Jeffrey Campbell shoes and I ordered the Hudson Gold Chain with standard international shipping, which normally takes 10 business days. After 25 days of NO package, I contact them. They get back to me a few days later and tell me to wait another week. I contacted them a week later ad then they told me to wait another week. I waited another week and now it has been 7 weeks since I placed that f***ing order. I was a Rep for these people, but I am now going to trash them on YouTube.

I've never had any trouble with an online store before karmaloop. I made an order for 7 items on the 20th of December last year and got an email sent to me claiming that the package had been shipped on the 21st of December (my order number is 7460757). I'm from Australia and I understand that it can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to arrive for international orders. However it has now been 9 weeks and I have not received anything. I have checked with DHL regarding my shipping number but nothing shows up. I have been emailing support constantly and today they got back to me claiming that my order has been deemed lost and offering me a store credit refund, a bit annoying considering all the clothes I had originally wanted are now out of stock. I'd really just like to know what happened to my order and why their shipping processes are so faulty. Can't say I'll be shopping there again any time soon.

Karmaloop, you've just lost another star. Thought I was gonna get a proper reply and settle my return and refund issue as stated in my first review (below), guess not huh. I was told to send my order number to them and a "new rep can get it all taken care of for you!" I did as told, and on 3rd Dec they told me that they were gonna "shoot you(me) an email so we can go on from there". There was nothing 2 days later, so I replied to remind them again. Here we are 6 days later with guess what? Nothing but an abrupt ending to their customer service, surprise surprise! Other reviewers seem to have realised that their CS stops after payment, is that what it is, Karmaloop? I get it that it's probably the Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sales period and you guys might be busy BUT COME ON, it's been too long. Returning an item isn't "AS EASY AS 1,2,3" huh - I need my RA number and a smooth return & refund.

(11/24/13) I got the Jeffrey Campbell Scully shoes during their sales this year for roughly a 100 bucks, but despite it being on sale, the quality of the product that I received was definitely unacceptable. The shoes itself were badly made, (not their fault) but they were scratched up, had yellow and even blue stains on them, they were supposed to be new but it definitely doesn't look of standard. I was absolutely horrified by what I've received and sent them a mail asking for them to do something about it. They replied promptly asking me if I wanted to send them back and get compensation for it, I emailed them back 3 freaking times in a period of about two weeks and gotten no reply at all. We have all seen so many wonderful reviews of them from YouTubers but seeing all these reviews and including my own experience, really made me doubtful.... really disappointed because I do love the stuff they carry, especially the shoes they have... Karmaloop please do something about this :/

After waiting 2 weeks for my order, I was asked to pay double the amount I spent just so the Customs "can release my shipment". Really?? a warning at checkout would have been sensible.

Made an order which included ladron sunglasses by crooks and castles ($75 NZD) so pretty expensive for me. however, when my order arrived instead of the sunglasses i got a rather ugly, grey t shirt. this was about 3-4weeks ago and since then i have sent multiple emails, attempted to make phone calls and even tried to contact them on facebook and have had no response or feedback. seems like they have screwed up and are just ignoring me now that they have my money :(

As others have mentioned, if you ship to Canada prepare for COD charges- not the same as duty. When my package was delivered I was expected to pay an additional $15, on my $52 order. Even the delivery man clarified that it was NOT duty, but indeed a COD charge that was placed on the item from KARMALOOP. This was even reflective when I followed my "tracking" -- it said my package was a COD, even when it was still in transition in the states.
Don't order from karmaloop unless you're prepared for a COD charge. The "deals" aren't really worth it.

Zero customer service after the order is paid for. I was instructed to go chase their vendor. In other words, they don't process returns or credits.This guy is suppose to be an E-commerce guru? Take care of your customers.
They do not disclose in any meaningful way that orders are factory shipped direct.
No service for you once they take your money. Excessive shipping and handling rates. Beware. Amazon seems to have fantastic customer service and demands it from their vendors.

I was "happy" when I found out about the 30% off but when but I bought my 3 pairs of Dr. Martens it went downhill! I live in Canada, when i picked up my package i paid $101.00 more! its like the 30% off that I saved from the website! It was such a SCAM! I wonder how can i report this kinda modus! plus when I received the 3 pairs the other 2 doesn't fit because it was a FEMALE size 8 of Dr Martens! It don't show if their DM's are female or Men size! I couldn't send them back because of the shipping fee that I have to pay! Im thinking that i just sell them! I HATE that i have to go through this! I usually buy online but this! I WILL NEVER BUY THINGS from KARMALOOPS again! :(

I am from the UK and made an order for two pairs of shoes about three weeks ago. I've been patiently waiting for them..... I phoned the courier company yesterday who told me I owe £61 (99 dollars) customs charges. The shoes totalled £161 (260 dollars) so I was charged 38% to import them. I would NEVER have ordered if I knew this. And I will NEVER order again. The free shipping actually cost me a fortune. Do NOT order from Karmaloop if you're from England.
