I ordered a pair of linen pants on 21/5. There was no indication that the product was not in stock. On the 30/5 I received a mail stating that the pants were being shipped.
As I had presumed that the pants were in transit, I requested a refund. I was then told that they had already paid for postage. I offered to cover the cost of the postage, I just wanted a refund & closure on this case. I heard nothing for 3 days...
On the 3/6 I could see via the postal tracking number that the pants where still uncollected!!!
I then contacted PayPal to both message the retailer "officially", & to file a complaint. The retailer had ignored some of my mailings/requests beforehand.
Shortly after I have received confirmation that the order has been cancelled, a "partial refund" seems to be in process. After almost 2 weeks of waiting just for a pair of pants to even leave the building, apparently I deserve to pay for the shipping cost regardless. No telephone contact available as far as I can see.
