I purchased an item from this company online which upon receipt were defective.
I contacted the company and returned the trainers, however the company would not accept the shoe as defective and want to charge me the RETURN POSTAGE.
I had fortunately taken images of the defects on the trainers (scratches & marks) so could prove the defect existed, after several emails and a phone call I finally had a full refund.
I would not use the company again.

Yesterday I ordered a Stetson cap and it arrived today, superbly packed and presented and was just as described, I'm amazed at the speed my order was processed and dispatched and based on my experience I can highly recommend Jules-B

The store sells great items, but customer service is terrible. I addressed several times about the size, asked questions about the delivery. They never even bothered to answer. Although the letters have been read. Accordingly, there is no help with a choice.
I do not recommend this store.

Better off buying directly from the producer/manufacturer or from a different retailer, here's why:
Bought a Barbour coat from Jules B. Within 3 months there were 4 defects with the coat which is not normal for a Barbour coat, I have always owned Barbour coats so I know. I sent it back to them only for them to refuse to refund either in part or full, refused to exchange the item and refused to refer to the manufacturer or help in any way whatsoever.
This is actually consumer rights violation, although who wants to hire a lawyer to go after a company for a consumer rights violation over a coat.
Whenever I've had a problem with any Barbour product in the past Barbour have been really helpful and always offered some solution, this is therefore my recommendation:
AVOID JULES B, even if it is slightly cheaper, it will cost more in the long run, also if you go to most manufacturers they will often match the price.

Good product selection, great service and beautiful packaging. I had to return one of my items as I'd purchased the wrong size, but customer services dealt with my request promptly and sent me a new item as requested. Will definitely shop with Jules B again.

Just had a call from Jules B as i clicked on collect from store by mistake, as i live miles away they called me to confirm i wasn't collecting and would i like it to be posted, that is fine but then to ask me for the extra £3.50 for postage is very bad customer service, i have spent a lot of money over the years with Jules B and they have great clothes for sale but as i am in the customer service industry i would not have charged in this instance. How much better would have the customer experience be if they said we will cover the cost?? i would have been very happy with that as its clearly not about the money.... very very poor show Jules B

Don't buy from Jules B Fashion. It's simply not worth it. Better off buying locally!!!!
They don't take the time to put up proper measurements for their products. You'd expect more from a high end retailer, especially one with so many restrictions.
I bought a shirt, the drop-down selection only showed the neck size. Opened the size chart, NO neck size listed. There was NO info confirming I was buying the right sized product.
I chose the shirt showing my proper neck size.
Also, they are an over seas company, so there's NO free shipping. And NON-refundable shipping cost.
I had to send the product back, guess why, it didn't fit properly. It cost me $20 to send it back, and that was the cheapest!!
SO, a shirt that I don't even own, ended up costing me $30!
Too many NO's.
Do better Jules B Fashion.

Bought a Barbour branded jacket for our dog online costing very close to £50 a couple of months ago – the first one he has ever had. Extravagant yes, but we love our dog and it was for Christmas. It arrived Ok, well packed and presented, but looked a bit insubstantial and not particularly well made but with the classic corduroy collar and logo would still impress his mates to be sure.
After no more than 10/12 outings we returned it as the elastic straps that loop round the hind legs had basically fallen apart – not because the stitching to the jacket itself had come undone, but because the elastic itself had just disintegrated – never seen anything like it on any other elasticated product I have ever bought. When elastic is over stretched the first thing it does is loose its elasticity not fall apart.
JB refused my refund on the basis that it constituted failure due to inappropriate wear – I had bought too small a size despite having followed their measuring instructions precisely. Also it appears I am too stupid to recognise that my dog is uncomfortable and would force him to wear it anyway. Frankly if it was as tight as they have suggested the poor hound’s blood supply would have been cut off and he would have barely been able to move at all.
So, a) a very poorly made item and b) a wholly unreasonable approach to customer service – small claims court proceedings, here we come. My dog has obviously warned all of his mates to shop elsewhere – they have without exception expressed outrage at the way JB has dealt with this.

So disappointing. I’ve waited many years to visit this store (Yarm) as I live a good few hours drive away.
I’ve purchased Oscar, Grizas and Barbour online and from other stores, but, always viewed Jules B as being the ‘Harvey Nicks’ of the North East, how wrong I was.
Nice store layout, reasonable selection and young assistant downstairs was friendly and welcoming. However, her older colleague, disinterested, dismissive and unhelpful. Perhaps she was a customer, but, I doubt it.
Didn’t purchase, won’t be back.
Leeds and Harvey Nicks / Flannels / JL, you’ve nothing to fear.

Always happy with the experience shopping at JulesB in Jesmond in Newcastle and whether formal or casual, always able to find something I like.
Staff very helpful. Never had to return anything so can’t comment on others’ problems with this.

Buyers beware. Jules B have refused to give a refund for a faulty Made East jumper. They will not accept responsibility for supplying items that are not fit for purpose.

Bought a Barbour jacket as a gift but was slightly small so it was returned. 2 weeks later 5 emails and 4 phone calls and i still have yet to receive my order. Have now been lied to twice about the delivery date and when called customer service been given dreadful service. Would highly recommend not to purchase from this company.

I had a really bad experience with Jules B. I bought an item that was too small. I sent the item back after 3 days of receiving. I sent the item back and they would not accept the return and sent it back to me.
Please make sure you order the correct size because you will not be able to return your items if they don't fit. They use every excuse under the sun why they shouldn't accept the return.

Jules B and Zen in Kendal are excellent. The staff in Zen are outstanding and so very helpful. My friends who live in the south are amazed at the choice in both shops plus they were able to find shoes they couldn't find in London!
The clothes are high quality and expensive but you get what you pay for. I always check out prices on-line and I've yet to find any product cheaper anywhere else, especially when you add on delivery.
