I can't believe I didn't write a review sooner, since the men answering the phone at Joe's AV are incredibly rude and I hated working with them. Originally, I had my doubts purchasing our Weber from them, but thought it would be fine because there were plenty of positive reviews at the time, and I was tempted by their lower price. The grill arrived a month late, after I pushed the company to deliver it and to give me a discount for the incredible inconvenience. When it did arrive, the packaging was intact but the instruction manual was a photo copy and there was no information registering the product. Fast forward to a year later, when we moved and the movers broke our casters on the grill. I called Weber, who asked for my serial number. Guess what? THERE ISN'T A SERIAL NUMBER. Eventually the rep asked me where I purchased the grill. I told them Joe's AV, and she said "Oh, they are not an authorized dealer. Actually, we don't know where they get their grills from, and they always get rid of all of the serial numbers so you can't trace them." I should have known the lower price tag would come at a cost. Whatever you do, don't buy from these guys. They are crooks.

I found a TV that I liked at BJ's but it was more than I was willing to pay for it. As I always do with any large purchase, I noted the model number and came home and searched the TV online and found it for much less online at Joe's AV. After talking it over with my husband, I made the purchase which was to include "free shipping".
The next day, I received a call from Joe's AV trying to upsell expedited shipping. He informed me that for an additional $199 I could get the TV faster and with "white glove" set-up service. I let him know that I was in no hurry and he informed me that the TV was to be shipped via a trucking company and that it would be many weeks before the trucking company would be in my area. I was irritated with this and challenged this tactic and advised him that it felt like a bait and switch.
The caller informed me that I was uneducated and didn't understand what "bait and switch" meant. Joes AV didn't sell me a product and then swap it out with something of lesser value. Hmmm... didn't they? They sold me free shipping and then called to advise me that it would be slow and they couldn't guarantee that the TV would be in working condition when it got here but with the $199 shipping they could.
The caller then told me that he was about to do me a favor and drop the price of the expedited shipping with white glove service to $79. I told him had he started with that I probably wouldn't be as aggravated with this phone call. Since he'd already insulted me, I asked him how much he was paid per hour to make the sales calls he made because I might just switch professions. If the job he holds nets him so much money that he can be so cavalier with my $1,000 purchase, then he must make a ton of scratch making these calls. (The caller made certain that he corrected me - "It's actually $954." - as if that $46 I added when I rounded up negated the heft of the purchase.)
I guess I irritated him because he told me that he was "done with" me and that I should enjoy my TV in good health and promptly hung up.
(If I'm being totally honest, I have to say that he was never outright rude to me. He never raised his voice but he certainly didn't like being challenged and made that fact quite clear. This man, however, quickly became the exception to the rule. As a matter of fact, I think it might be the first line in the employee handbook for Joes AV: Whenever possible, be rude and condescending to customers. Ensure that they know we are intellectually superior to them and that they are always left feeling greasy and uneasy after theyve called.)
Less than a week later, I found that the TV was put on sale at BJ's and managed to negotiate it down to $821 and made the purchase. Joe's AV had advised me that it would be a few weeks until the TV was to be delivered. So, I called Joe's AV to cancel the order. The person who I spoke to asked me why I would want to return it. I told him that I had found it for more than $100 less. He leapt on this before I had even completed my sentence and advised me that the version I had purchased from "Costco" was a discounted version that wasn't as good as the one that I had ordered from them. Over the course of the conversation, the depth of his rudeness and contempt at the fact that I would deign to back out of my purchase was shocking. He literally told me that I had to be stupid to think that my Costco version would be as good as the version Id purchased from Joes AV.
(I cannot clearly state why I think this is germane to my story but I just need to say that the closest Costco to me is more than 60 miles away.)
Please note that I immediately called the TV manufacturer and asked what the difference was in the model I had purchased from Joes AV and the model that I purchased from BJs. I went through the specs line by line with their technical department representative and the only difference was that the model number of the TV I purchased at BJs had a D at the end and the stand was a different color. (After we received the TV from Joes AV we set them up side by side and went through the menus line by line, watched TV, Netflix, Hulu and a Blu-ray DVD side by side and found no discernable difference.)
After multiple calls and arguments, I finally reached a manager who advised me that I could not cancel the order despite the fact that the order had not yet shipped. There is NOTHING on their website that says that you cannot return an item.
Finally, after a few weeks, the TV was shipping. I called the shipping company to inquire as to tracking. For more than a week I checked their website daily with my tracking number and it simply said that the TV had left Joe's AV's warehouse. The shipping company advised me I had to call Joe's AV to garner tracking information. Upon calling Joe's AV, the person on the phone exploded on me and - I kid you not - advised me that, despite the fact that I had already paid off the charge for the TV on my credit card, that they were not going to sell to me and they were going to call the trucking company and tell them to bring the TV back to their warehouse.
Up until this point, I had been pretty sure that this TV had fallen off the back of a truck and that I was dealing with La Cosa Nostra. Id treaded carefully when conversing, but this really pissed me off and I was appalled. I had asked for, and was speaking to, a manager. This man literally told me I had to apologize to him nicely and he would not call the shipping company. I did it, largely because I cannot afford to lose $1,000 excuse me. $954, but I was incensed.
Immediately after hanging up I called the trucking company and, after being assured that this was an independent trucking company that had customers other than Joe's AV, let the manager there know that the TV was paid in full and they were not to take any further instruction regarding delivery from anyone other than me.
After much stress and an unrelenting feeling that I was going to get shot in the back of the head when I went to get the mail, the TV showed up. Please note that Joes AVs NON "expedited shipping with white glove service" still means that two questionable characters are required to bring the TV into the house, unpack it and plug it in to be sure that it powers on otherwise they will not leave your purchase, paid in full or not. While they were courteous enough, I do not cotton to strangers coming in to my house unexpectedly but I wanted to finish this thing in whatever way necessary and get Joes AV out of my life.
Since the purchase, I have received multiple, possibly automated, email requests from Joes AV asking for my review. I have ignored each and every one of them. As a matter of fact, this review is published under a false name because I was left with a VERY unsettled feeling in dealing with Joes AV.
My advice: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM JOES AV EVER. The money you save just isnt worth the stress, character assassination and insults. If you go on their website and see the positive reviews, I think you can safely assume they were either written by the people who work for or own Joes AV who, incidentally, are not only mean, but stupid and have poor use of grammar and the English language. ("Thanks" does not require an apostrophe, as in "Thank's", guys.)
You may be asking what I did with the second TV. Color me crazy but I didnt want to be within in ten feet of the television I had purchased from Joes AV. Just looking at it made me feel so dirty I had to shower every time I did so, so I sold it online and good riddance to it.

I did finally get my TV after a half a dozen calls and months of delays. I think it was delivered by mistake. When I called to find out where the 5 year warranty was he was shocked that I received the TV. He asked when did I get it and who delivered it. What did he look like. I thought that was weird. He asked me over and over again. Almost a year later and no warranty. Phone is disconnected. Knock on wood no problem with TV yet.

This is the worst buying experience I've ever had! I ordered a Samsung 82" HDTV from this company. Joe's customer service was horrible, they never answered the phone once order is place; website will never update to reflect the status of your order. The sales person will relentlessly try to up-sale on my purchase order and I did not receive my delivery for over 3 months after promised within 21 business days. I called multiple times and finally talked to "management" to cancel the order and they offered a discount. Go figure...the $400.00 discount was never paid. I filed a case with the BBB who was also unable to gain any results with this company. REASON WHY??? THEY ALREADY HAVE A ZERO RATING.... THIS IS A SHAM ORGANIZATION!!!

I truly believe a class action lawsuit is entitled. This is beyond poor customer service. Joe's AV is fraudulent and egregious in their acts. We never received the TV we were over charged for. The invoices were all different amounts and did not reflect what was charged on CC. Had to dispute through my CC. Awful!

I live in Scottsdale and ordered the Denon Receiver on line at 11am on 29 december it was delivered 3 days at 9am, I cannot praise the service enough. Will definately recommend and use again. Thanks to everyone involved.

I ordered an LG E7P Series 65" OLED TV. No where in it's description does it say it is an 8 bit TV and that it will take approximately 56 days to obtain. The 10 bit at almost twice the price is available immediately.
I will contact LG to check this out.

I was pretty proud of myself in researching best LED TVs and then in finding a good bargain. Joes AV had good reviews and best price plus free shipping. Unfortunately, it took a month and three phone calls to finally receive it. With each call I was told its on the way and should be delivered next week. Next week didnt happen until I insisted that I wasnt buying that line anymore and I wanted to cancel my order. After giving in one more time it was finally delivered. I would have paid more to avoid the trouble and deceit. Interestingly, the box it came in had a Buydig.com label on it so not sure what that means. The TV is great but Iwouldnt purchase again from Joes AV if their prices were half that of anywhere else.

I really wish I would have found these review before I spent $2800 on a Samsung Frame TV on Jan10th truly thinking I would get the TV in time for the Super Bowl thinking as me and my family moved into our new home on Jan. 15th. Boy! Was I really wrong! After more than 10 calls and some being disconnected mysteriously; also lied to directly on the phone even after I asked just don't lie to me about where my shipment. I finally got some flimsy excuse of JoesAV is in dispute with the shipping company. The first Shipping company Oneway shipping would not give me an answer and finally JoesAV told me that they switched shipping companies to Amtrucking and again I called their office got the same excuse!! They where in a dispute with JoesAV! This is after 6 WEEKS!! Super Bowl has been played and closed down! I am still sitting in our new home with no new TV for the Den!! As you can imagine the lady of the house is voicing her doubts with consternation. So I called one last time and I was told that my shipment will arrive in 2 days! I call the Amtrucking the day before the ETA and they tell me no delivery is schedule for me and the dispute is still in talks with JoesAV. So immediately I called my credit card company and reversed the charges! I went to my local electronics store and special ordered it and got in 3 days! I will never use JoesAV and I recommend anyone reading this to heed my warning! This is a non-professional scam of a company! I will be posting and leading a social media battle to shut this site down.
PS You can contact me on this site and I will provide the email proof of all that transpired.

Well this company still has not delivered the product. Has been more than a year now since I ordered an LG television -- not a single response from customer service. They must write all of their 5 star reviews themselves - clearly these folks are screwed up if they have hundreds of 1 star reviews similar to mine. And the rating agency that they use with good reviews is just an advertising company. Stay away!

My business partner ordered a camera from joes in November 4 th 2017 -on the 10th the money was deducted. $2,174 from account under a different name
( east land camera) -1st red flag .... they told him 10 days it would arrive -of course nothing came -my partner called several times from November thru January -each time long phone waits and different stories -its on route should be there or we will call you back with update ( which they never did -2nd red flag) then there was the story oh the shipper must have lost it we will follow a tracer on it
3rd red flag -my partner is fighting cancer and was feeling weaker and weaker unable to deal any further with these fraudulent creepy lying clowns & asked me to call . I called 4 days in a row -each time asked for guys name -which was given to me only when I insisted -each time I called
They said would check and call back /surprise , surprise
No call back -4th red flag - each time waiting on phone 30-45 minutes .finally on 4th day the helpful sales man told me it was shipped with a shipping company name & gave a phone number which I repeated back to him to make sure right -he said it would come in 4-5 days and then as I was still talking to him asking him a question about shipment delivery date -this wonderfully charming man hung up on me -5 th red flag -the next day I called the shipping company and -what do you know surprise surprise it was somebodys personal cell number -6-9 red flags and why do you need to ship a camera with a shipping company ??? An item that can be sent 2 day priority mail with insurance thru USPS mail for very little money -10 th red flag.
Thats right 3 months and no camera I reported them to the fraud department of my bank -save yourself the aggravation. DO NOT use this company

The negative reviews are true. I read them all and proceeded with an order from Joe's anyway. I was ordering a "late model" 80" TV and the price was considerably less expensive than I could find anywhere else. I ordered, and was expecting the upsell attempt. True to all of the reviews I'd read, after placing my order, I got an email stating that I needed to call Joe's to confirm my order -- "Standard procedure." I called and waited on hold for 47 minutes. When I got a human, he wanted to know why I was ordering "such a late model of TV" -- a set up for the upsell. After navigating that, he told me that the model was backordered, ships from China, and would be "about 30 days." I had read all of these reviews so I expected this. Despite confirming my order, I kept getting the same daily email telling me that I needed to confirm my order. I let it go for a week before calling back. I waited on hold for ~60 minutes. This person told me that their computer system "was down," and that I should probably call back in 2 days. I waited a week before calling back today. This time I got through to a human in less than 5 minutes. She pulled up my order, then matter-of-factly told me that the TV was backordered...they didn't expect to get it soon...and that they were canceling my order. Boom. F Joe's AV.

Saved $1000 on a OLED TV. Took about 6 weeks or so but got what I wanted and it looks great! Expected a delay based on the other reviews so the delay was of no concern. I do not fully understand their business model but I got what I ordered and I saved 1/3 of the price. Worth the wait.

I ordered a 55" Samsung Frame TV at a decent price, but I wish they would have been more upfront about how long it would take to ship. It took us over 2 months to get the TV. However, when it finally did arrive, the box and thus the TV were in pristine condition. Overall, I would say the experience was a good one, but they should give you a better estimate on delivery time.
