My partner's mother ordered my day shoes from here. When they arrived, it was the wrong pair. We had quite a journey to return them and get a replacement sent out. Now the replacement has arrived - it's the exact same pair they sent out the first time. Now waiting to see how difficult this return journey will be & I'm cancelling the order to go somewhere else. Thankfully my wedding isn't anytime soon. Don't waste your time, from the looks of other reviews it seems like it's rare that an order does go right.

I order some dancing shoes they came but the size was written incorrectly online. I was offered a 50% voucher, I accepted it and order the shoes again paying for the post. The shoes never came because they wrote the address wrong on the package and they asked me to claim the money from Royal Mail. They were answering offering me 50% discount and i got the money back after long conversations. I would not recomended it. Service is unprofessional and bad.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes to the value of £127. I read the returns policy before ordering and paid via PayPal for extra safety. I have contacted Jjshouse over 20 times if not more. I was offered vouchers and money off next order, but I would never order from here again the shoes looked nothing like the picture and mean a million miles different, cheap cardboard looking pink shoes not the rose gold strappy shoes I ordered. This was back in June. I have the returns receipt and they just keep sending me the same messages over and over again. I have a dispute open with PayPal and because this has gone over 60 days it’s now closed. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE FROM SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT LEAVE BAD REVIEWS AVOID THIS COMPANY. Sam. Yorkshire

I ordered a dress several sizes too big intending to have it altered to fit. The dress is lovely however it's too small. I need to return it. I have contacted the company several times asking for return details . They keep responding telling me the dress will be delivered.
So item fine returns service terrible. I won't order from them again

Please dont waste your time or money ordering from this website, yes the website looks good and the pictures are nice, but the products are of cheap materials, poor build quality , and the sizes are way out , and if you need to send anything back its really difficult and they will do their best to keep your money . please save yourself the hassle/ time / money that i am going though ...... avoid this website

I have never gone to print about a company before. A hat i liked was offered in two colours, red & burgundy, I chose RED they sent BURGUNDY. After a long e-mail battle they eventually agreed to a refund, even though the mistake was theirs. They then refused to send me a return label or offer refund of return shipping costs. Another long battle and regardless of how many emails I sent pointing out this was their mistake, I just got the same banal response. I know there are good reviews for this company but let me warn you, if you have a problem with your purchases, prepare for a very long battle. Even a threat of solicitor intervention exacted the same response. I would seriously consider buying from this horrendous company

Mis-leading site information about 24hr cancellation yet for them to respond to your cancellation email takes about 48hr. Then they respond with “sorry your order has been processed and sent out and we can’t cancel”. If you are ridiculous like that don’t have mis-leading info on your site, better yet hire enough people so that you can handle queries in time. Not only that, they also have a dodgy number on site which states the office is closed, which seems to be closed 24hr a day! Would recommend people to stay clear of this site!

Ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses (£100) which stated 24 hours shipping and I paid for express delivery. Dresses didn’t arrive in time, when they arrived I was on holiday so parcel has been left in my garden for 2 weeks!
JJ’s house are refusing refund as it’s over their 7 day policy! I have contacted trading standards. I asked to cancel the order before it was even shipped once it was evident it wouldn’t arrive in time, they ignored my request. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOCKING COMPANY

I ordered samples for bridesmaid dresses which never came. The company told me I should chase this up with the post office myself. No tracking details were provided. No refund was ever given. I would never trust them to deliver an important product when they cannot even send out colour swatches. I now click unsubscribe on every email I receive from them and yet continue to receive them.

I’m a UK size 5 shoe and went to JJsHouse to buy my wedding shoes, their size guide prompted me to buy a size 36 as this apparently correlated with their size 5’s. I was dubious as I know size 5s are usually a 38, but went ahead. The shoes arrived and were absolutely beautiful, BUT TINY!!!
Postage cost around £20 (not exact) which I though was ridiculous but didn’t mind for my wedding shoes.
I reached out to them for a refund which they accepted, but strangely wanted a picture proving that the shoes were too small. So I had to send them a picture of my foot not fitting in the shoe!
Anyway, they’re not free returns so paid 1st class to send back as you only get 7 days. This was around £3.
They then said they’ll send me a coupon code to rebuy my shoes (not used this yet), so I’m now awaiting for my code. However this only covers the cost of the shoe, so I have to pay another £20 for my new shoes to be delivered! As well as now needing to measure my foot as their size guide is farrrr off!!
All in all, the shoes were £51, but in the end I’ll of had to pay around £43 in postage! Beautiful products but just not worth it for the hassle! Can’t fault customer service at all, they were extremely helpful, lovely and polite! Just found the photo situation odd!
Again, their products are beautiful and the shoes are great quality, but I don’t think I’d order from here again!

I am only writing in hope it will stop others making the same mistake. I ordered a pair of shoes in the sale and based on the original price thought they were good value. Wrong. They were not worth the sale price let alone the original £101. They arrived and were faulty so I contacted them for a refund. At first I was offered a 50% voucher to be used on their website and I could keep the shoes or a 40% refund. I replied stating the shoes were useless as they were faulty and I was entitled to a full refund. Their next offer was a refund but the original shipping would be deducted. Again I replied that I was entitled to a full refund and they were responsible for the original shipping and cost of return. This went on for many weeks and eventually they agreed to a full refund but I had to return at my expense. I was advised by consumer protection that I could take them to a small claims court but it would take a long time. To be honest I just wanted it over with so returned with signed for delivery. I did receive a refund but less the shipping. Their excuse was they have to pay the shipping company. As I explained to them it was not mine or the shipping company's responsibility if they had provided faulty goods. I did eventually get the balance. I also provided a review expressing my concerns. Guess what, it wasn't posted!

I paid £95 for a dress and the postage and it came in a a4 size grey plastic bag, it was completely creased and not folded just shoved in the JJ'S zipped bag Inside. Absolutely disgusting for £95 it should be on a hanger and in a nice box I have bought a dress from the high street which looks nicer and more expensive for half the price.

If I could rate minus or zero out of 10 I would. 6 bridesmaid dresses were ordered for ladies over 3 different continents and using JJshouse measurements we ordered dresses that were £100 each when they arrived (after 7day returns policy) we couldn’t exchange any because they wouldn’t fit. After emails back and forth offering me 20% off another dress of choice, they wouldn’t accept any returns at all because it was beyond their return policy date. Now when JJs send the dresses, they don’t even arrive a week after you order. When they do they’re cheap and poor quality. They’re 100% polyester and look like they’re made in Thailand by a child. They don’t look like the pictures and if you were to get dresses for an event I wouldn’t ever recommend JJshouse. No one should waste their money.

I ordered x3 dresses for my bridesmaids and only 1 of them suited the bridesmaids body shape. I did not realise they had a 7 day policy on refunds because it is not clear to customers when buying. It is also not clear when buying that you are not given an option to exchange, only refund and then re-order!. I requested for x2 of the dresses to be exchanged but the answer was simply NO. Absolutely ridiculous. The company can easily go on to re-sale the dresses to a different customer. If they have such a tough policy they should ask for all customers to provide measurements. Why didnt they contact me before processing my order to advise me of this? They could clearly tell I had ordered x3 dresses of different sizes! I feel like they have set me up to lose out on my money. If they contacted me prior to processing my order explaining clearly how they work I would be more understanding of their unwillingness to exchange the items ive purchased. If this does not get sorted ASAP and my dresses exchanged, I will never order from JJS House again!

I bought 3 custom size bridesmaid outfits and all of them needed altering around the bust. Besides that sizes were good and dresses were beautiful.
My not perfect rating is mainly for my wedding shoes. "Worry free returns" is their line but not necessarily something they live by. I ordered my shoes according to their size guide and when they turned up they were too small. I then ordered the next size up but to return the small shoes was a huge battle. They asked for photos, immediate responses and when EVENTUALLY they agreed to give me a full refund (after giving me some half-hearted offers and several days of going back and forth) they advised tracked delivery which cost me £8. I have now received a full refund but really don't think it should have been that difficult!

Do not be tempted by this company, the good reviews are probably fake! Customer service is set up to avoid returns. Delivery costs are ridiculously high presumably to subsidise what looks like a great price initially. You will regret it!

I was very skeptical about ordering with JJS house after reading the negative reviews about not having the refund. I purchased a veil with them and didn't suit me well. So I've returned and asked for a refund. They have processed it all fine. I had no problems with them. Only thing is, you don't get refund for delivery charges. I am a genuine customer and my ord#4944440825 . Obviously, I understand their intention as business as they don't want customers to take it as granted such as ordering clothes, wearing and return the items.

Awful I spent over £100 on a dress which arrived in a horrible bag and the fit was awful the dress sat too high as the holes for the arms were so small. I tried to get a refund and the would only offer me a discount on my next purchase but I would not use them again for anything

Oh my god I have just recieved my wedding dress and veil from jjshouse and I am delighted. I was so worried after reading a lot of bad reviews but everything from communication to delivery times to dress quality has been faultless and I am so happy I decided to risk it.

I bought 2 dresses and a pair of shoes from JJs House. The first dress wouldn’t zip up. I contacted them to see if I can send it back for a refund. They offered me 40% of the cost of the dress back and I didn’t have to ship it back to China (I donated it to a local charity).
The second dress looked like the photo but it was shapeless and not structured at all. The “built in bra” provides absolutely no support whatsoever. It looked like a big sack (just like the first dress). The shoes are very poor quality and uncomfortable to wear (if you manage to order the right size!) I contacted them about a refund and again they offered 40%. I took it because I couldn’t be bothered getting into a long drawn out dispute (have a young baby at home).
So I’ve lost 60% of my money and I have no dresses to show for it. I gave them both to charity. Please find a dress on the high street or a reputable online retailer with a genuine refund policy. These dresses are NOT cheap. They are not worth wasting your money on.

Please be aware that this company is very difficult to deal with.I ordered three outfits which were of very poor quality.I tried to get a refund which i did in the end but it took around 24 emails .The system is not very robust and alot of replies are an automated reply stating that they have noted your request.I had to involve Barclaycard in the end to assist me to claim back my money which was in total over three hundred pounds.The website states no problem to get a refund this is not the case.

I placed my order for a wedding floor decal and some other bits, this was 3 months ago!
I'm still yet to get my items and have been sent in circles by jjs house customer service, stating firstly that the package was with Yodel and shipped, i check the tracking and call to confirm and they have not received any items? I go back to Jj and they now make the excuse its trapped at customs, really? I make a point of asking i hope i won't be charged customs fees, which they didn't respond to. I've been chasing this for 6 weeks now and have hit a wall, no items no refund and what feels like hours spending time chasing. Save your money and time by avoiding these cowboy resellers.. they do not know what they're doing.

I ordered a dress and the description said it would take "12 to 15 days to tailor as ALL dresses were made to order" and shipped from China . BUT the dress was shipped in just 24 HOURS after the order date!...AND the dress was dispatched from the UK ( not China!) and delivered in just 4 days by the UK Post Office!. I have since discovered that JJ's House sell cheaper sample dresses from the UK which are advertised as such. However I did NOT order a sample dress but even though JJ's House deny it I honestly believe I have received a ready made sample dress from the UK which usually sell for a lot cheaper than I paid for a "made to order" dress. Even though this dress was sent from the UK I still had to pay the full £21 postage which is ridiculous! .Trying to get a straight answer from JJ' House customer sevice is impossible!
