The worse company I’ve ever come across or used big time con artists
Thought I had a wasp nest the guy came and looked around for tens mins couldn’t find a nest then was told I still have to pay 132 pound for absolutely nothing I’m fuming and will be taking it up with who I need to want my money back
Do NOT use this company they are thieves and con artists avoid at all costs

All I can say is do not use this company unless you have more money than sense. We got three quotes but we went with this one because they stated they would dig up the rats nest in the garden (if one was found) and put down rat boxes, great we thought! so we opted for this option which was not offered by the less expensive companies. However, when the operative (who was very polite and efficient) came we were informed that digging up the nest was not a service offered by their company! No nest was found in the garden thank goodness so 3 bait boxes were placed in the rat runs.When we spoke to the office regarding the misinformation they denied telling us that the nest would be removed, but where would we have got the idea from, if not from the salesman? We certainly would not have paid £415 for this basic service,when the same service is offered locally at £250!!! Save yourself money and hassle, go elsewhere!

I rang up on a Sunday morning and the female on the other end explained how this company will come out the same day, spray the wasp nest in our loft then leave the treatment on and come back the next week and remove the dead nest. That same day, not more than 2 hours later, to our surprise a young lad turned up, went into the loft, sprayed it and said call back after 7 days and arrange for removal. After this time we called, and my partner was told they don't remove it, its not part of the deal? When we queried this, we were told we should not have been told this but would still not help us remove it. So we paid £118 for something I could have done myself which is spray the nest. Absolute rip off. Would not recommend.

Sadly I have had a very poor experience with this company.
Paid 421 for cockroach treatment which supposedly came with a 3 month guarantee. The technician visited and sprayed. A week later and still no discernible difference. Other companies provide spray, bait and traps for literally half the cost.
I found the company unwilling to discuss the effectiveness of their treatment or provide any follow up advice or support.
I have since decided to give up on them and use another company. Have telephoned today requesting cancellation of a future appointment and refund. Company has been purposely difficult and obstructive.
Would definitely never use again.

Avoid this company
I paid £179.99 for a man to remove a wasp nest that was old and didn’t need removing. He was in my house for 5 minutes.
Also claimed to be a local company with Bristol phone number but actually based in slough.
They Conned me.

The worst service. genuinely concerned I have been scammed as I have paid over £400 for this service and so far I have received
- No show on appointments x 3 (whilst taking time off from work)
- Broken light fittings from contractor
- Promised £100 refund 33 days ago for the failed appointments (yet to receive)
This business is very easy to take money from you upfront but the service provided is awful. Book elsewhere

Had heat treatment. It didnt work and I'm not convinced it was done properly. Did one spray and refused to do another. Very expensive treatment for it to not work.

Called Saturday morning and asked for a Pest Control service. I'm told they will allocate someone and email confirmation once done with an ETA.
1 hour later I get no call or email so call them back and said I will source a local person who will come within the hour.
Their response was: All call are recorded and we advised you of our cancellation policy so you are liable for 50% of the total cost because the contractor is on his way to you!
Needless to say, I received none of this information and the first email I got was this morning with demand for 'payment' which was later followed by a SMS for payment demand.

Different stories about how long the treatment would last, or be guaranteed for.
Different ideas about how to treat the ant problem. First attempt used spray designed for a variety of pests (we only had ants, which quickly overcame it).
High call-out charge alleviated slightly by the fact that they gave a second (gel) treatment under guarantee a few weeks after the first.
The gel is only effective for a short time and the ants returned the following season merrily eating their way through the gel, well within guarantee time we were told by some agents.
This was denied this year. Last year they failed to take me up on my offer to remove short skirting board so poison could be put in a safe (for us) place in the kitchen.
Since they failed, we have removed skirting board, and their semi-effective short-term gel, put powder down and achieved results as least as effective as theirs at a small fraction of the cost.

Very poor. They guaranteed to resolve our pest problem within 3 months, however the problem has persisted and they will not re-visit nor refund (which is what the technicians said would happen.)
Also, it’s interesting how that some of the recent 5 star reviews on here all fall on Aug 1st.... I’m sure they are genuine though.

If i could review no stars i would. Firstly the sales people tell you what you want to hear. We were promised a heat treatment to eradicate the death watch beetle, from 8am-7pm heat the entire house to 60 degrees in the centre of wooden beams, then 2nd day to follow up with an insecticide
1, turn up late
2, only heated 2 rooms on first day for 3 hours and complained they wanted to go home at 4pm to beat traffic. (Say they reached intended temperatures)
3, have no equipment to check core temperature of wood.
4, muddy foot prints and furniture up ended and left.
5, staff complaining that they have never treated this beetle before
6, 2nd day, they tried heating a room upstairs ( this time we bought a drill and temp gauge to check for ourselves, didnt reach no where near after hours of heating, contractors gave up, said no way it can be done
So attic, upstairs not done and a room downstairs not done.
2 rooms "supposedly" done, pointless as bugs move back from untreated places
7, JG then take a further £1350 from our bank following day without permission. Knowing that the treatment wasnt done, This does not include the £1350 taken as deposit
8, week of emailing and calling still to date nothing refunded.
We have now started a county court claim against them. Leave well alone if you want professional pest control. Thousands out of pocket

Completely unreliable and impolite!
We had seen a mouse in our kitchen and wanted it sorted as soon as possible because we had people coming over the next day. I spoke with Kate from JGPest control who was very nice to organise it and send people over next day in the morning. However, since no one showed up in the morning I called JGPest control and spoke to Aaron,as it seems Kate forgot to book my appointment. When I asked what can they do to reassure me that they will come if we rebook another appointment, Aaron said there is nothing they can do. I thanked him and said will call back if interested and he just hang up the phone. Very unprofessional and disappointing since, as I explained to Aaron, I wanted to sort this out before my guest come for the NYE weekend. The irony is that we as customers get charged if we cancel an appointment but if they do not show up, we as customers are not protected. Will book with another company since these people are unreliable.

Had a wasps nest and th ey operative on the phone was able to book someone to come out to me the same day. I was amazed at how quick the wasps had died off. happy iwth the service.

Eventually the wasps were eradicated, however it took a second visit to totally get rid of all the wasps. This was accomplished with powder and a "Bomb" in the attic. I believe all this could have been done on the first visit. Many thanks for eventually getting rid of the wasps.

My Sister has been dealing with this company for an infestation of bugs. They have 2 conflicting reports and has charged in excess of £1000. They told her it was bed bugs, carried out the Heat treatment costing £1000. They then come back 3 days later to do fogging (free of charge) when the next Senior Technician attended the property he advised they are not bed bugs and this shouldn't have been done. They have since been dealing with my Dad and the highest level of staff you can speak to is a Sales Manager. My sister still is getting bit by some sort of insects and JG Environmental Ltd also known as JG Pest control (trying to work out the link of the companies). We have now had to get another company out to come and compel a report to the actual problem. All in all they have charged for something that was a waste of time and hasn't resolved the issue at all.
