Ordered couple of items, got order confirmation. when went to collect items after a week, one item is missing (that was the main item which I wanted, other was just add-on). Paid click and collect charge for Add on item. When I thought it will be auto refund, here comes the catch. You have to call customer care and wait in call queue couple of times before you can reach them and then only they will start refund process. What a great service. Learnt my lesson hard way no to order anything from JD sports in future

No communication whatsoever about my order. I made an order for a pair of trainers and the money was taken from my bank account. I then received an email to state that the trainers were out of stock. However, JD Sports have not refunded my money, nor have they sent an email to say that they will. Just seems as though they have taken my money off me with no intention of getting the trainers delivered and left it at that. So now is the job for me to chase up and see what exactly has happened with this order, because JD Sports won’t chase it up and I know from experience. Very frustrated is an understatement. Avoid shopping here, both online and in store as the customer service and the JD website are terrible.

Ordered a pair of trainers on the 15/9/19 to be delivered to my 14yr old daughter by the 20/9/19. Tracking the order it never left the depot, rang the customer service on the 19th to be told the order was running late but the boy I was speaking to reassured me they would be delivered by the 25th the day of her birthday.
I received an email on the 23rd telling me the order had been cancelled not in stock !! My daughter lives 110 miles away from me hence the web order

Paid for next day delivery on Friday. Got despatch email saying sent but the tracking number takes me to Hermes saying they are still waiting for it - my daughter now has no school shoes. Second major problem as last time sent my parcel to my old address and would not do anything about it even though I told them just after ordering that it was wrong, Hermes didn't help either so lost £30 there. I’m cross I used them again as now I have no £60 school shoes that should have been here yesterday. What makes it worse is customer services are now automated voices, what a joke!

Just returned an item bought from the Birmingham store less than 14 days ago to a store in Coventry with my wife ,I had the receipts and the credit card that was used but still I was asked to show another form of ID,I just went with it as I don't think the cashier was comfortable with asking me as well, but as I walked out I told my wife if she ever steps foot in a JD sports again......That's it!!!! Do not get a delivery from JD.
This is my first time ordering off of their app. Firstly, my 5 items came to a total of £250. I paid for next day delivery - it has been almost 5 days now and I still have not received my items. On top of this, I have been DOUBLE CHARGED for the items I have ordered, so over £500 has been taken from my bank.
I called customer service up everyday asking what is going on only to find nobody could give me a straight answer or the same one as the previous representative.
I was firstly told that I would receive my items as they can push it through the "system" manually to the warehouses. I waited a day as they promised they would be with me next day, and still nothing. So I called them up, second person told me there was an issue processing the order but can confirm it has been paid, so they have to escalate it with the "IT Department" and wait for them to sort out the order. It should be done within 24 hours. I wait yet again without complaining as these things can happen sometimes. Still nothing the next day and NO UPDATE whatsoever. I call up again and they say they have a huge backlog and that they have an issue with their system on processing orders right now. It should be done within 24 hours. Again, I wait, and nothing. No update or any emails from JD. So I call up again, and I'm told again that they need to escalate with the IT department which they had contacted days prior to this, but they have not received anything back from this and cannot give me any information at the moment but to wait and try to call back again tomorrow.
Honestly, I will have to wait for my items at this point so I can sort with my bank on getting the refund for the extra £250 that was charged on my card. Nothing has been solved, and I'm still waiting and I don't expect this to be sorted next week either. It's a joke.
If you want to buy from JD, go to their stores, you'll save yourself a lot of stress dealing with their bad service.

I am just writing to let you know how disappointed and frustrated I am with your services and company in the last few months, and that you lost not just one valuable customer but several as all my acquaintances and friends have been warned by me and will not be buying from you any further.
I have been purchasing from you site for years, and everything was well. But since the 30th of August I have made 5 orders with you for which only 1 was ok. For all other 4, my items have either been lost, or came in unsatisfactory condition meaning the 1 item of the pair of shoes was used, torn and its colour fainted from pink to grey. Despicable. Moreover, for my order made on the 30th of August which you lost in transit and then the items I wanted were out of stock of course as always, I have been informed several times (via email or over the phone) that my refund will show in my bank in a few days. Although its been a month and nothing, like I am that rich and have no need for the £130 or so you are holding from me; after losing my order, and it’s the end of the month on top of all and I am broke because of you, as I relied on you for receiving the refund in time as I should and made other plans.
The way I feel is indescribable, I am frustrated, and physiologically a mess because of your many messes. I though you a respectable firm but I seem now you are nothing but a scam. I had to beg you and send you several emails and made several calls to the UK for you to finally take action and do what you should and owe me, but still nothing, I am left waiting still, like I am not even an unsatisfied customer to whom you gave false pretences and promises.
Be sure that if you keep up with this attitude towards your clients you will lose every single one. I have made my research and found out that most of your clientele experiences issues with their orders and have given you the worst possible feedback, which I will also do as to prepare and warn others not to fall in your trap and have to claim what is theirs a thousand times in order to finally receive it and even then maybe not.
I would say best regards but I wouldn’t mean it. Please I do not need to hear back from you I am fed up with your lies and manipulations. I just hope you take into account my statements and do something to save your firm, otherwise your ‘’toast’’. I will be awaiting for my refund ASAP otherwise I will have to take other actions against you via by bank and lawyer.

What a joke of a company JD are, i put in a complaint to customer service a moth ago and was told i would get a response within 2 weeks after the area manager has looked into it. Still waiting 4 weeks later. will never set foot in any of the stores again. rude staff and a manager the could not care less, plus people at the customer service no help either.

Disgusted with the lack of any form of humanity from the man serving in store today. No communication skills what so ever, made me feel like a piece of poo for even wanting to buy anything in the shop. The guy had a serious attitude problem, it was obvious he did not give a crap. Ordered a pair of trainers in store for next day delivery on 23rd July. Never arrived. 3 weeks later (after many many emails whilst I was on holiday) managed to order another pair via customer services. Again didn't arrive. Told that they were out of stock and I would receive a refund. (Not really good enough, should have been told that at the point of ordering). I am still waiting for a refund. It has now been over 6 weeks since we first placed the order. What a joke. Luckily we've purchased similar trainers from a competitor, so my son is no longer disappointed!

Well, I would give this company 0 if I could. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Returned some disgusting trainers back in July to the store and still waiting on my refund. Been asked the same questions, god knows how many times. Now I have gone through resolver they are refusing to discuss anything with me but yet this is my order. Telling me I need to ring a number why should I what so it is documented. No thank you. I have been spoken to like I'm nothing and made to feel like I'm a liar. Sent my complaint over to the ombudsman about this scam of a company. Clearly see that the trainers were scanned back in store that I returned. I wasn't provided with anything and left the store. Now refusing to refund my £37. Might not be alot of money but who else are they doing this too?

Returned a Klarna item to store which they then said they’d return to the warehouse for me only for me to find out months later that they either hadn’t returned it or it had been lost and I will now have to pay for the item I returned. I didn’t keep the proof of return they gave me because it had been so long and they apparently keep no record themselves of in store returns. For all I know I’m now having to pay for my item that a member of their staff has kept for themselves. Won’t shop here again.

The worst online ordering service I’ve ever experienced. I was told there was a problem with my payment yet they took it and cancelled my order, then said the item was out of stock! Then the icing on the s**t cake is that 6 days later I still haven’t had my refund, apparently it’s on it’s way. The only reason I gave 1 star was the pleasant and slightly helpful last girl I spoke to but overall JD Sports have been dishonest incompetent and amateur at best.

Bought two pairs of trainers and returned both back in July.. waited over 8 weeks for the first refund which I was told it had been “processed” serval times. STILL HAVENT RECEIVED REFUND AS OF YET! Emailed 5 times saying I want to take it further which I get no response!
2nd refund I only got half!
Absolutely shocking!!! Do not shop here! Save your money and go somewhere else!!

Absolutely appalling, I ordered some joggers for my Son on online, paid for on 25th July 2019, I had a notification that my order had been dispatched 27th July 2019...and that was the last communication I received. Since then I and my partner have spoken to customer service and the store where the order is supposed to be delivered to. The customer services said they had spoken to Bentley Bridge store and my order was definitely there ready for collection, phoned the store ourselves to confirm who then told us the package wasn’t there. Days of endless calls and messages, spoke to another person from customer services, James, who said the order would be replaced, as it was lost in transit, and he would ring us the following day at 6pm on our number he asked for, no call came. I have checked JD fb page and I see I am not the only one this is happening to, I checked with CAB and JD are now in breach of the consumer act 2015, we stated this to the customer service today, No name given (10.08.2019, 10.02 am), who argued against the act. Finally we were told that half the delivery would be replaced and the other refunded as it’s no longer in stock. Infuriating and frustrating that the staff here treat their customers so badly, there was only James, who was polite the rest we have dealt with are rude and seem to tell you what you want to hear. Once the order goes through they didn’t want to know. We are now waiting for a refund and replacement. Order number 430775609. If you shop at JD do so in store and not online. This issue hasn’t been resolved as it’s the same thing we are being told again and again, without any outcome.

Wow seriously the company is a joke this is my second bad review about jd in a week.
After realising that ordering next day before 9pm was too much for jd to handle I thought I'd let them redeem themselves and ordered with the dpd precise next day only to find its coming through hermes and its not coming today between 1-2pm as requested.
Anyone thinking of ordering Christmas presents from jd do NOT get them last minute on next day as you will be disappointed. They can't handle their deliveries now so god knows how they are gonna cope at Christmas.

Ordered a pair of joggers for next day delivery and never arrived. I sent countless emails that never got replied to so decided to phone the customer service team instead. The woman I spoke to said it was being sent out that evening which was quite evidently a lie as it had been lost in transit. Finally got an email yesterday stating the item I ordered had been lost and would have to send me a refund as the item I ordered was out of stock. Absolutely shocking customer service.
