I have made two online purchases from J Brand Jeans online and both experiences were terrible. In the first, the company overcharged me for MA taxes. I raised this issue both in writing and verbally with their customer service department and was told that there was nothing I could do. It wasn't until I filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau did they refund me the amount I was overtaxed. My second purchase was for 3 pairs of jeans, 1 of which was on sale. I am a regular online shopper - I always check return policies before making any purchases. The only thing stated was any item "marked final sale" was non-returnable. Nowhere in my order, either on the product page, my email invoice, or the invoice in the box stated the item was non-returnable. When I tried to return the item, I was refused and told it was final sale. When I responded that nothing indicated anywhere the item's status, I received no response. Last but not least, their products used be made exclusively in the US. Now they are producing half their denim in China but there's no transparency as to where items are made on their site. This is the worst online experience I have ever had with a company. Terrible. Buyer beware.

I ordered two pairs of jeans and wanted to return one of them. I followed the instructions to get a return label and, despite seeing a confirmation that an email with a return label would be sent, one never came. I called the customer service line twice and left messages, but a week later still had no response. I sent two emails over the next week and never heard anything back.
What's weird is that customer service previously responded in less than 24 hours when I asked for my order number (since they never sent me a confirmation email). As soon as you want to return, they make it incredibly difficult. Very shady.

NEVER SHOP HERE My son bought himself a pair of J Brand jeans that tore. But he liked them, so I went to the website and replaced them with the same style and size.
The replacements didn't fit at all. Same size, same style. No consistancy in the product.
But then it got worse.
At the top of their website it says "Easy Returns" That's a big fat lie. Just to initiate a return, you have to CALL them. They do not answer the phone. Or you can send hem an e-mail - which they will EVENTUALLY answer.
The brand is junky. The service is crap. The clothes are expensive. There is no quality control.
For this price, you can find much better quality and care at many other places. Don't waste your money - and even worse, don't le them waste your time.

I purchased a pair of jeans that in my opinion are defective. They do not keep their shape, the seams are weak and came unraveled the first time I wore them, and they did not go back to their shape after washing per the care instructions. I purchased them from a reputable luxury retailer. Since I did not purchase directly from J Brand their customer service will not replace the jeans so now I have a $300 chunk of cheap denim that I wore less than ten times. That's $30+ per wear. I will not be purchasing J Brand in the future.

Ordered 2 pairs of maternity jeans & paid $32 shipping for delivery from the US to the UK. There is reference on the J Brand website to possible duties in the customer's country but very little is said and there's certainly no warning that duties can be considerable which they must be much more aware of than their customers are. Needless to say, had I known that I would be paying £297 for two pairs of jeans and £215.97 for duties, I certainly wouldn't have ordered them in the first place. J Brand were not interested at all in trying to assist me, though they must know at the time orders are placed that if you order their products in the UK you're going to be in for a big surprise!

I feel ripped off by this company. Using their mobile web on my phone, it went to purchase without ever showing the shipping costs. It was $100 for shipping! I called and replied to their order confirmation to cancel. They didn't have time to read the email or listen to the phone message. But they did have time to ship! I returned the item and they refuse to refund the shipping! I feel as though I have been mugged by Jbrand

The jeans sent to me were in the wrong size - I ordered them in size 26 but J Brand sent me a pair in size 28. When I contacted their Customer Service regarding a refund, I was told that I had to pay over US$40 for the return shipping (from Hong Kong to the US). Given that I did nothing wrong and it was their fault, I just want you guys to know about their horrible customer service!

Love their jeans. Have bought three times from the site as quite often, they're the only place you can find the whole assortment in all sizes. Most stores carry a selection - their website has it all.. Shipping was quick but oy vey - their customer service... Normally takes about 4-5 emails for them to either a) get back to you or b) give the right answer. For such expensive jeans - you'd think they'd invest in customer service.
