I too wish I'd read the reviews. I ordered a turtle quilt for my wife for Christmas. They sent me the wrong quilt and have been incredibly hard to contact. I have emailed them no less than 20 times and still haven't gotten my money back. I have a feeling their scam is going to be to send me the turtle quilt (which I no longer want since Christmas was almost 2weeks ago) then they'll again be impossible to contact. BUYER BEWARE!! Aquacozy is a scam and you will not be able to get your money back!

I ordered a rug costing $139. It arrived and was fuzzy and pretty much a velour blanket. I asked for a full refund and they offered me a 20% refund and 30% of the next order. They have said if I return it to China and pay for postage they will give me a full refund. Their customer service emails after order are very promising and dishonest! They say how they 'tested and inspected for quality or any minor errors. Because we care about you Jenny, we want it to be absolutely perfect.' Do not order from them.

I have ordered 4 quilts from them. Correct, not high quality or quilting. That's okay. But on the 5th quilt, there was EXTRA printing, not what I was expecting. So, approx. 18 emails later, I'm stuck with it. They had me take a picture so they could see the issue. I could mail it back, at my expense and they would replace it, shipping again on me. It's amazing how you get a ton of emails while in the making and then who knows where they are afterwards.

While I've not bought anything, I reported the site for art theft a while back for using the artwork of Anne Stokes and other artists who had their works used for their merchandise across various sites. I don't know about anyone else but at least for me, the site appears to now be down but has popped up again as azcozy. Upon looking at the reports here, I'm sorry that you were scammed out of your money, and hope that you're able to find companies that have quality products that are exactly what you ordered. I ask that you please spread the word that this company steals art from other artists to plaster onto their mediocre products and report report report for any items that look suspicious. I absolutely don't want this company to get away with what they've been doing.

I ordered a queen size blanket for my bed and it barely fits a double bed. I have contacted this company repeatedly since April so I could exchange it for a bigger size. No one has ever contacted me back. Don't order from this company!!!!!!!

Acozy is a scam. You order a “ rug” and it’s really a cloth. The colors are not at all what you receive. Then you want to return it and the cost to mail to China is 3 times the cost of the item.
I do not recommend this company, they take your money and do not stand behind it.
Awful!!

Never buy online without checking reviews. I wasted $80 on a gaudy, cheap "quilt" that I will not put on my bed. Doubt I will hear back about a refund since others have said this company is hard to deal with. Such a disappointment.

I ordered this quilt in May. According to the emails they would tell me about each step or it was being held back because they found threads sticking ouT. HAHAHA THATS A JOKE. If you look at the pics they missed a lot of threads. Here it is August. I sent the quilt back about 2.5 months ago explains that according to their website I would get a full refund if I'm not satisfied. Look at the pics. It looks like someone cut the quilt in half then sewed it back unevenly. That's a joke. What it boils down to is I lost 80$ thinking that the quilt was worth it. IT WAS NOT EVEN WORTH A PENNY. Please don't waste your time and hard earn money if you just want to throw money away. That company is a scam. Because they are in China I can't do anything about trying to get my money back so I just pretty much chalked that one up to a loss. Please please please do t waste your money on this website. They will send you a bad item and you will never get your money back. They kept telling me that they sent me the money but never did.

NOW I find out they do not do returns unless there is damage, etc. And others say they never even got their items and no money back. The "quilts" look beautiful on the site and on advertising posts and they have a lot of good feedback but I should have looked further into the BAD feedback. THEY are very poor quality, not nearly big enough, not hand-crafted, not even brightly colored as they are in the pictures - very dull, faded look! The one I got to give as a gift is probably worth about 1/6 of what I paid - a big RIP-OFF!

Not a quilt but a very poorly made printed sheet, I had to pay a further £12.60p custom charges and when I opened the printed sheet up the stitching was all loose and there was a hole in back, reported to them and was told they had refunded 50per cent off the cost back into my paypal but it was all lies, paypal then said I had to send it back for a refund so then i would be out of pocket again paiying the custom charge and to repost, so beware of these scammers as there not from Japan as there title says but there company is Arab Emirates , and the quilts(printed sheets) are made and posted from china, seems nice company at the start but just a con artist once the faulty goods arrive!

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I was very excited to get my quilt but was very disappointed when I received it. I rated a 2 star because at least their communication was great! My quilt material was poor quality, very stiff and scratchy and the quilt was very thin. The stitching was extremely poor. The trimming was so poor it was coming off already. I was disappointed to see that the material was just one big piece, not individual squares sewn together. I would not recommend these quilts to any of my friends or family, nor buy from again.

What a JOKE! I ordered a King and a California King and they barely cover a Queen (USA) Mattress. The quilt is thinner then cardboard and way undersized. Buy somewhere else because this JAPcozy is a RIP OFF! Big Money for a POOR cheap undersized product. How can the owner do this to Customers?

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!! Dollar store knockoff poor quality piece of crap is what they sell. NOT A QUILT!!! It is a poorly printed design with no padding, very thin and rough material. They say 100% refund....and fighting with them to send it back and not getting anywhere. If I could I would rate them as -5 stars. BUYER BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!

I recently ordered a quilt for my husband. It's okay. Not the colors that was pictured, but do-able. So, I ordered three queen and one king for gifts. The queen sizes were okay. The king has extra printing on the front bottom right color. Dates?...measurements? Who knows. So, right away I sent a email of what I received, needless to say with no response. Finally I get a response, asking for a picture and order number. Did it. Of course, it's passed the time frame, but I will voice my opinion on that. Best part is when I get my response back, this is what it was -- "that it must have slipped by the quality control department. They will pass this along as to not have it happen again. But, I get 30% off my next order." I love that I had ordered enough of the 4 quilts that I got free S&H, but I will now have to pay for return shipping. So, my king size quilt has more than expected on the photo side. Look on the bright side, no extra charge to extra numbers.

** Update - I just increased my rating now that I have washed the spread a few times. It stayed super soft and no threads came loose. The batting even puffed up a little. The back side color washed out a little bit, but very evenly, so appropriate for a new item as the front colors stayed strong. ** Please read whole review! My spread came quickly. It is exactly as pictured, perfectly sewn, in the right size. It just doesn't feel "handmade,"and, at just 3 pounds, is extremely lightweight for a three layer quilt.
The design is exactly as shown, in the correct size (California King 90 x 110). There are absolutely no loose threads or signs of missed stitches. My king sized spread or "quilt" weighs only 3 pounds so is super lightweight for a "quilt"!
Ordered April 3rd, Arrived April 20th. That sounds good but I kept getting emails about the stages of its manufacture well after it had been shipped. I think the seller tries to make these sound like they are custom made and individually overseen.
The description actually says "Handmade Item and Made To Order. Nothing about this bedspread is handmade or piecework. My spread is a single, large printed image (of smaller images giving the superficial perception that each square or border design is separately sewn) on material similar to a bed sheet, sewn to a solid color fabric of the same material, with extremely thin batting in the middle. All three layers are sewn together in a perfect repeat curved pattern that has nothing to do with the design printed on the face. The outside edge trim is equally simple machine sewing from the same back fabric. The final edge of the trim where it meets itself is left open, so definitely not hand finished. This has all the signs of a machine made, mass produced product whether the company prints and makes them at they are ordered or in batches doesn't change that. Maybe a person operates the machine so it counts as "handmade"?
My bill said MGALLERY COMPANY LIMITED, not JAPCOZY, so I closely monitored this purchase to make sure I wasn't getting scammed. With shipping my spread cost just under $82.
That all said, it is exactly as pictured, perfectly sewn, in the right size. It just doesn't feel or look like it was "handmade."

So guys....I am FUMING right now.....mostly because this was SUPPOSED to be a birthday present for myself. This is....BY FAR....the WORST birthday gift I have EVER received. I am literally crying right now as I write this because I am so pissed off. So on to my story. I saw these quilts advertised on Facebook. I went on their website (japcozy.com) and INSTANTLY fell in love with this beautiful quilt I saw on there and purchased it on the spot. The quilt was originally priced $129.99 but was marked down to $59.99 (this should have been my first warning.) Please note that the website makes it VIVIDLY CLEAR that this is a HAND-CRAFTED quilt of the HIGHEST quality materials and that is why it takes so long to make (the seller said 2 weeks). They also use the words "beautiful" and "very soft" to describe their quilts. So I received the quilt today. I purchased the quilt on April 17th and it arrived on May 13th....nearly a month later. I was so excited to see this quilt, I was literally going to the window every 5 minutes waiting for the mail lady and I met her at the mailbox. WHERE do I begin? To be fair, I will say, the seller (Hoshino Minami of Japan) WAS very good at emailing me every couple of days and keeping me apprised of his progress while he was creating supposedly my quilt. (that, coupled with the STELLAR reviews I had initially read from people who have purchased his quilts, is what persuaded me to go through with this purchase) But that's about the only positive praise I can give him. First of all....the seller CLEARLY indicates the measurements of the quilts on his website (the sizes he advertises are Queen, King, and Canopy King....I ordered the Queen sized.). The measurements that were specified for a Queen sized quilt (which again, is the size I purchased) was 80 inches by 70 inches. I was so excited to see this quilt that I immediately opened the package (which it wasn't packaged securely in a box...which is what I expected because it came from overseas....it was in a loose, plastic envelope) and I put this quilt on my Queen sized bed and I was a bit puzzled when it BARELY reached the ends of the bed. So I measured this quilt that was so PERFECTLY crafted JUST for me.....three times to be absolutely certain I was measuring it correctly.....and all three times I measured it, the measuring tape read 76 inches by 65 inches.....SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than what it is supposed to be, according to the measurements given on their website which again, to remind you....were supposed to be 80 inches by 70 inches. So that was strike one. Strike two came when I took a closer look at this so-called "HAND-CRAFTED QUILT". To call this quilt handcrafted is a JOKE. This is NOT a hand-crafted quilt. I OWN hand-crafted quilts. I know what hand-crafted quilts are meant to look like. It looks like whoever made this quilt printed the design on one solid sheet of fabric and it just has white thread woven over it in an ugly, squiggly design. The colors used in the knot-work and background are also SIGNIFICANTLY less vibrant than what is shown on the website pictures and the Celtic knots that make up the design are blurry around the edges giving it a VERY cheap look. It is also PAPER THIN.....there is BARELY any batting inside this quilt (IF ANY) and I got into bed with this quilt and wrapped up in it. (Remember.....this seller states VERY CLEARLY on his website and I quote "each of JAPCozy's Quilts is made of Kona Cotton which is 100% combed, premium quilting weight cotton fabric. We also mix it with a small percentage of microfiber to bring the soft, smooth, beautiful-to-the-touch final quilt." It doesn't feel like high quality fabric at all....it feels more like the cheap sheets that you would buy at your local Walmart. It's not warm. There are also at least TWO places where the stitching is flawed (even though one email specifically states that they sent it back for the stitching to be corrected) Strike three is that this seller is a LIAR. He claims on his website that his company hails from Japan, but according to Paypal, the quilt was shipped from CHINA. So obviously, I am extremely upset and want my money back but GUESS WHAT? The website also states that NO REFUND will be given if the product has been opened because they can't guarantee the product wasn't damaged after it was opened. So now not only do I have this cheap, ugly quilt.....I am also out $60. (and it compels me to ask the question, how am I supposed to know I am not happy with the product if I keep it in the packaging and don't SEE the product?) Just for fun, I am posting a picture of the ugly-ass quilt that is now crumpled in a ball at the end of my bed because I am so pissed off, I can't even LOOK at it. The second picture is the one I saw on the website......and you can CLEARLY see the difference in the two.....particularly that the one they have doesn't have the ugly white squiggles all over it. And please note....when I took the picture of this quilt, it was JUST taken out of the shipping bag. I have not washed it, or digitally altered this picture in any way. This quilt is brand new. You can CLEARLY see the difference in the color and design.

I ordered and paid for 2 quilts, only received 1 quilt; now Customer Service will not respond to my multiple/repeat attempts to contact and get resolution. This means that I basically paid double price; it isn't worth $179.00.

In reading other reviews, it appears some customers were expecting a 'family heirloom' quality quilt, which they are not. But they ARE creative, they make good throws or something to cuddle up under in your easy chair with. The designs are cute and they offer such a wide variety of subjects for the quilts that I have ordered specific designs for specific people in my family, and I'm proud to give them as gifts. These are good products. I recommend JapCozy for relatively inexpensive gifts...and I gifted MYSELF with one too!

I ordered and paid 80euros waited 4 weeks with lots of bogus emails saying all the stages it was going through. The image on the blanket are just blurs as they are so out of focus. You can't even make out what the images are. Also, it is paper thin, and not kingsize at all. The quality in the stitching is so poor, and it was not sent via dal as it states, and I paid for. The refund policy is to pay for return, and they will decide on the other end if they find our complaint valid. Even my dogs won't sleep on this piece of S**T. Furious.

I feel bad that my mum has wasted her money on these "quilts", I did tell her that it would be a Chinese knockoff but she was convinced it was handmade based on the photographs, a handcrafted quilt would take a lot longer then 10 days to make. These are two pieces of fabric sown together with a thin piece of infill that is then kept in place with a crappy s stitch instead of even what is shown in the picture. Yes the colours are pretty, no the "quilt will not keep me warm, it's really a bed cover and although it's pretty it's 100% not what was shown in the online picture and it's not worth the $60, also it's supposed to be a queen and would barely scrape through as a double. For a little more money you can buy a genuine handcrafted quilt from a person in Australia and it will be something worth cherishing, this is not that type of quilt.

I was quite skeptical about these quilts as people weren't happy with delivery times. But, on the other hand, the butterfly blanket seemed like the best present to my granddaughter. I was smart enough to factor in the slow delivery time and ordered way ahead of her birthday.Honestly, the quilt was quite slow to arrive. I get it, you hand-make them, with attention to details & deliver them globally through DHL which can be messy sometimes, but speeding up the process at least a bit would definitely be great.Aside of that, my granddaughter was stunned and amazed by the blanket so much, she jumped into my lap and started screaming. She jumped on her bed with extasy and that's her one-and-only blanket for her bed. She wouldn't consider any other. To see my granddaughter so happy, it was well worth it. This amazing product really worths your while and your money. Don't hesitate, and arm yourself with patience :-)
