I realized my email address shows up in their website when I google the thing, so I tried to contact them to ask to delete my personal details. Dead link.

Just signed up for a month to try it out. So far in 1 hour of beginner lessons I have been very impressed and feel I have learnt some valuable tips that 3 months of private lessons and using another online subscription site have not taught me. Hoping the rest of the month goes as well as the first hour. If so I will be signing up for the year.

Good luck on cancellation of the account once you start. I’m still being charged a month after I cancelled my account online. I received an email confirmation stated my account was cancelled. When I tried to contact them directly, I received a automatic reply stating they would be back on Tuesday.

Beware they will give you no warning that they are about to debit your card each year for the full amount, whether you are using the website or not. And they will not give any refunds when you receive your credit card statement and realise what has happened.

I've been a member for four years and I have learned a tremendous amount of theory and techniques. If you're serious about become a great musician, you need JamPlay!

As an absolute beginner I found the lessons to be way too complex and kind of dull. For example in lesson 3 there might be 5 new chords with difficult finger positions, then on top of that there will be some extra concept that is mentioned only briefly. The supplemental materials are written in musical notation that does not seem to be explained anywhere on the site. The site itself feels clunky and outdated.
There is no structure to the site, you just have to randomly pick a series of videos and then hope that they are kind of OK. I guess there is also a lot of overlap.
Cancelling my membership was fairly easy, but I did need to speak to a person in support through their chat app.

Jamplay have very good programs for virtually any style and level of experience, from beginner to seasoned professional. Also the staff and instructors are extremely helpful should you have questions, or need help with anything related to music or gear. I would highly recommend Jamplay, if you want to improve your playing.

I am revising my initial review after getting a response back from Jamplay that they could sent the content I'm not able to download for a fee and they offered to extend my subscription 3 months due to getting off on the wrong foot.

Jamplay is truly an incredible forum and is very fun to do. Learning and pleasure combined is wonderful. Something offered for any skill level, fantastic and dedicated teachers, knowledgeable and accessible. What's not to love? Check it out!! You won't be disappointed. I spent two hours last night going over scales with a wide range of backing tracks and had a great time doing it. Cutting edge technology!!

An update to my last review which wasn't the best review due to problems with the 'bundles' mainly. Up until the weekend I had daily contact from jamplay who were explaining everything well and trying to find a solution for me regarding the bundle which will now cost me more money!!!! Huh. I only have an iPhone and do not have enough memory on phone to use the bundle and still use my phone for work etc etc. Am I the only guitarist in the world with an iPhone but no desktop computer? I can't find anything that explains this on the sales pitch? Hopefully I will get an answer today regarding the blues bundle which is actually the reason I went with jamplay instead of others. The online lessons on the website are absolutely fantastic though. I'm really impressed!!!!! I am using Will Ripley. Brilliant! I've gone 'back to basics' doing phase one as I've self taught myself to play a little bit of guitar wrong! Will gets you playing riffs straight away! You're learning and building up finger strength right hand technique and just enough theory whilst having fun. The content and lessons on the site is phenomenal! Just need more hours in the day. The jamplay guitar tuner doesn't work on my iPhone 6? Not sure why? I've had to down load another app to use alongside g force. I also have to use the main website as the jamplay app doesn't work on my iPhone 6, it just won't let me log in? I'll update my review when I hear back about the bundle. I real hope I do! I want to keep my subscription with jamplay and keep Will as a teacher. They have said they will give me my money back if I want. Standby for update.

I bought a one year subscriction last 27 april but, after few days I realized it was not for me, so I asked them I want to excercise 30days money back option.
Over the course of last 7 days, I sent them 5 e-mail. No answer.
Yesterday a friend of mine sent them an email asking about 30days money back for a new customer. They answered her very quickly: "all you need to do to take advantage of our 30-day Money Back Guarantee is contact us here within 30 days of your purchase".
So.., why don't they answer me.....??? Since now, a very bad experience for me!!!

I had a one year subscription with Jamplay and found the lesson materials to be very good. The reason for only 3 stars is that I play bass, mostly, but also guitar.
In order to get access to both bass and guitar lessons requires two separate subscriptions which is just ridiculous.
Besides, there are loads and loads of guitar resources but not much for bass.
E.G. guitar subscribers get heaps of jam tracks, bass subscribers get a few jam tracks.
If you are a guitar player I would definitely recommend Jamplay, but if you play bass, or both guitar and bass, look elsewhere where one subscription gives you access to lessons for both.

Jamplay charged my card for the last 7 months and i didnt know it but after getting in touch they refunded me 3 months and gave me 4 months free credit so what can i say Im happy. I just gotta make super sure they dont charge me anymore when im not purposly signed up. This was a 1 star review switched to 5 stars for jamplays fast and professional dealings, I mean they refunded everything they could,or at least they said they did i have to verify the funds coming back to my account still, but they were super nice about it in the personalized email they sent me.

90 percent of the content is excellent. A few tweaks here and there and the site will be very well polished. The lessons have been very enjoyable as I spend many hours a week with it and my guitars. I am able to learn music that I couldn't take on by books alone. It does need some better tools to help me organize the lessons and classes that are of interest to me, nothing complex, just a better means to personalize it. always get a response for my questions and plenty of live QA.
after using this survey system, the trust pilot, what a pain the a$$ this survey site is.

Very good website. I found a guitar teacher that teaches me the way I need to learn. My only request would be to teach a little more about common lead and song riffs that are typically used in music and can be patched together for a more complete riff. Even though the student may not understand all the theory that goes along with it, everybody wants to pick up a guitar in a music store and play something cool. I've taken a break from lessons to do this. I'm using the internet to find songs that I want to learn without having to pay for it. It maybe in the lessons somewhere and I just haven't found it yet although I have looked. The only thing I found that was close costs 30 dollars. Still, this is an excellent website. Keep it up!

JamPlay.com has been a great resources. With multiple instructors to follow you can get past any hurdles you might run into. The lessons are clear and short, covering just enough to master a skill before moving on. Replay as often as you need until you get it right. Best of all almost all lessons come with supplemental materials to help you learn to read music, chord charts, scales etc.!

I started taking guitar lessons when I was about 12 years old, broke my finger playing football with my brother and lost interest in playing. Jump ahead some 40 years ahead and here I am. I got a Squier starter pack for Christmas a few years ago and started playing, trying to teach myself to play was harder than I thought, getting stuck on something ,getting aggravated. I looked online at some lesson sites but something was missing,I was on one site and the instructor said Jamplay was pretty good. I took the free trial and then signed up for the 3 month membership. I gotta say, I've learned more in the two months since I've been a member than I have in the 3 or 4 years since I've started playing. The amount of lessons here seems endless, you cannot not learn to play here. What I like is, one teacher might not cover something you're looking for but another one will The interactive resources is great too, live lessons, chat room, ask a teacher. The price is right too, taking lessons at a music store can be quite expensive at $15.00 to $20.00 for a half hour 3 or 4 times a month Playing the guitar has been a life long dream, if you're young don't put it off, you'll regret it later on. As Frank Marino sang " Some people claim it's too late, what they're saying is they're really just afraid." Jamplay is a great place to start, don't wait untill you're 58 and have arthritis.

This is my second year subscribing to JamPlay. I have been very impressed with the quality and variety JamPlay offers. Along with hours of work, I can definitely credit JamPlay for the significant improvement in my guitar playing. I like the structure of the lessons, and the absence of 'holes' or glossed over material in the learning process. I also really like the JamPlay culture -- warm, friendly, honoring, guitar loving, appropriate, versatile, not just out for your money. I will admit, the price can seem steep at first, but it is significantly less expensive than an in person teacher. In addition, you can study what and when you want and (although I have never personally done it) you can get teacher feedback. Due to my own personal growth and experience studying guitar with JamPlay, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an online guitar teacher.

Jamplay's HIGH QUALITY video presentations on the screen in front of you is like attending a music school, but better, as it is one on one and you literally form a bond with your teacher. No Matter what age, anyone who loves guitar music and harboured a secret passion to play can make it happen with Jamplay.
Jamplay is SIMPLY THE BEST!
