We were lucky enough to book Jaipur Taxi Tour for 2 days for our stay in Jaipur and was so happy we did. Ali our driver was amazing and made our trip there. He set our itinerary for us and we saw more than we bargained for.
On day one we saw the Amber Fort, the water palace, Guetta & monkey Temple. Then day two royal city palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Patrika Gate &Albert Hall museum. My husband and I love photography and we weren’t disappointed.
We wanted to find a nice wool scarf/ pashmina and jewellery. we were taken to factories for both of these where the quality of products was incredibly high. All restaurant recommendations were great as well!
We’d definitely recommend Jaipur Taxi Tour. Ali is the best! We had an amazing two days. Booking with them meant it took all the hassle out of the holiday. Thank you!!!

After being in India for almost a week, my wife and I have been feeling defeated when it came to transportation from many tuk tuk and taxi drivers as most have tried to do their agenda more than what we asked. Today, we experienced such a blessing with Ali as our taxi driver for the whole day. He was very well spoken and easy to understand. His prices were great! He was knowledgeable about the area, the attractions, was able to provide advice and tips/tricks of the trade and at the end of it all, he would still leave it up to US to decide how we wanted to go about everything. He never pressured us into stopping at any shops, going any places we didn’t want to go, and never tried to sway our decisions. He was always a gentleman, very professional and even had us laughing all day today telling jokes. We were always comfortable and had an amazing day. We can’t thank him enough. If you are ever unsure and relying on these reviews to make a decision, just know you can’t go wrong with Ali. He truly is a great guide, a great driver and a great guy! Thank you so much Ali!

We were fortunate to meet Nawab Ali on our first day, as we had already dismissed the first few drivers that approached us outside the Alsisar Haveli. Something about Mr. Ali's genuine demeanor (and excellent English) immediately struck us, and we asked him a bit about the area. (Folks, trust your instincts and don't be afraid to politely give a firm "No." if you feel unsure or uneasy!)
It was late in the evening and our sightseeing options were limited at ~16:00. He suggested the **Sound and Light Show** at Amber Fort — tip: "Amer" and "Amber" are the same thing — starting at 18:30 English, or at 19:30 in Hindi, if we prefered the local experience. Rather than just pay for this ride, there-and-back, we could hire him as a guide for the remainder of the evening + the following day. A little suspicious but trusting of good nature, we agreed to take the 30m ride to the fort, to make it before the fort closed at 17:00, and to settle on a per-diem rate later that evening.
By the start of the show, you will know how to say "Turn your damn phone off, please." in Hindi... I promise you.
The show itself was more historical/educational than stunning, but it was worth the ticket to see the full fort lit up at the end. You'll understand why they *insist* on no photos. You'll take several.
We returned ~2 hours later to find Nawab waiting patiently for us in the nearby parking lot, happily humming the closing theme song to the show. Deeply amused, we returned to the Alsisar Haveli the way we had come. Upon reaching the hotel, still feeling a little apprehensive, I insisted on settling up for the evening. We agreed on a rate of ~1,000 rupees a day (9ish hours) of sightseeing over the next two days; a fair price for *just* a TukTuk driver at a fixed rate, where I'd pay him at the end of each day (so neither of us would be left holding the bag for more than a day, total).
Over the next two days, Nawab Ali proved himself an invaluably ally in the unfamiliar streets of Jaipur, taking us to:
- Jal Mahal (The Water Palace)
- City Palace
- Jantar Mantar
- Hawa Mahal (The Wind Palace)
- Monkey Temple
- Heritage Village Textile
- Royal Gaitor Tumbas (Mausoleum)
Re: shopping, we found souvenirs and gifts for friends and family back home without breaking the bank. We're happy with the gifts we selected and the price we paid, but be prepared to barter and spend only what you're willing to spend. Nawab Ali was especially understanding of this, and while suggesting a few shops known for specific wares (blue pottery, gems, silver, block-printed textiles), he was never pushy in his recommendations. In fact, he was very understanding when we asked to go to specific restaurants (as I had specific things I wanted to try, and can be a little specific when adventuring).
In all, Nawab Ali was a wonderful driver and ad hoc guide through our 3 days in Jaipur. Patient, kind-hearted, and deeply knowledgeable about the area, he was an invaluable help throughout our stay. We found a gem in Jaipur.

Cheers,

Great two day tour with Ali partly in Tuk Tuk and airtight by taxi. Excellent English and he knows all the good places to shop at reasonable prices. Quotes and prices for taxis to airport etc much cheaper than the hotel prices.

If your in Jaipur and looking for a taxi or an organised tour then definitely use Jaipurtaxitour. Ali was great and organised a great taxi for us from the Samode Palace just outside of Jaipur back into Jaipur to the Hilton. The driver was on time and very helpful. Later that evening we had a last minute request as we wanted to tour round and see the Diwali festival and the wonderful lights and atmosphere in Jaipur. That was a great evening the streets were so busy and vibrant. We toured round the Pink city and saw many of the sights like the Albert Hall all lit up with amazing colours. Ali at Jaipurtaxitours was great and organised it for the four of us.
We also used Jaipurtaxitours for our final trip from the Hilton hotel to the Airport. The driver was there waiting for us bright and early at 7am in the morning. We had a great time in Jaipur and it was made so much easier having Jaipurtaxitours and Ali look after us.

We were two foreigner ladies and we booked a week-long tour of Rajasthan with this company.
We chose this company because of good TripAdvisor reviews but also because of their speed in answering emails. The company owner was professional and helpful, and the taxi driver also polite, professional and drove well. The taxi was very clean and comfortable. Tour price was decent, not over-priced.
We would recommend this company and they are definitely trustworthy and reliable.
