After two problems with my laptop from JACOB within the 2-year legal guarantee, JACOB agreed to check the laptop and send it back to me. The two problems were a battery that no longer worked, and a screen which had experienced some of its’ screws falling out just from opening and closing the laptop over the less than 2 years. This meant that the screen was open on one side, and that it risked breaking.
After the laptop check, JACOB concluded that they could not cover the repair fees for the laptop, since it could not be proven that the two problems were problems that were due to manufacturing errors. I accepted this decision, and understand that it is also a matter of interpretation, so no problem with that.
The problem, however, was that the laptop they sent back from the repair check had two new problems that did not exist before! One problem is that one part between the screen and keyboard used to change the screen position is now misplaced or damaged, and the other problem is that a part that is supposed to stabilise the screen, was left on the outer side of the laptop when JACOB checked the laptop, although it should be stabilising the screen from the inside. It is completely impossible that this part can get where it is now, without JACOB having placed it there during the repair check.
I even have photo evidence of the laptop before and after sending it to JACOB (which I showed JACOB), and the difference is very clear. Still, to my great surprise, JACOB rejected that the laptop was sent back to me in a different state than they had received it from me.
After this, I sent the case to online-schlichter.de, hoping to find an amicable solution by having a neutral party to take a stance. They could see the problem, and therefore contacted JACOB. However, JACOB just said that they do not want to cooperate with online-schlichter.de.
I have not asked anything special from JACOB, only that JACOB accepts the extra repair costs that I will have due to the two very obvious new problems that JACOB created during the repair check.

We bought a Karcher Sweeper from Jakob.
It was the cheapest online by a mile!
It was delivered to Ireland on time.
Would definitely recommend, but they're not necessarily the cheapest for everything.

AWFULL SERVICE. I HATE THEM.
I ordered a little kitchen appliance and there was a little mistake in the delivery address (it was not my fault, but Amazon.de ,because I used Amazon Pay). Because the order was in line a special occasion -a birthday, I wrote more than 3 mails - and what a surprise - no answer for 2 days. I describe them that the time is running out for me - they didn't care at all. AVOIDDDDD!!!

Completely useless. After a week of no contact, beyond accepting the order, I emailed (which they didn't reply to) & then raised a dispute (not a claim) through PayPal to try to get them to tell me what was happening with the order.
In response to my doing the latter, they then emailed directly (not through PayPal) to say that they were cancelling the order because I had raised the dispute through PayPal - however haven't refunded the money.
So, whilst I'm sure PayPal will sort it in 10 days time, atm I've got no product & no money - &, since it was a £356.72 order, I can't afford to buy from somewhere else until the money's returned.
Having posted on here, they sorted out the refund - so I've changed the rating from 1 star to 2...

I have made a substantial purchase with Jacob.de. I am currently conferring with "customer support" and they do not respond to neither mails nor request for a phone number... I have communicated with them since april 4 and they only randomly respond to e-mails, and do not initiate a dialogue.

UPDATE.... they are still lying to me...
I can document that I canmdcelled my order 3 days before they shipped it (i have forwarded them all documentation, but they do not comment on it), I can document that thay alkready once have promised me a refund, but suddenly they did not want to live up to their own promise and I can document that I have an average response time of more than 6 days on my correspondance with them.
Stay away from this company... they are lying and decieving and once they get your money they do not care about you.

Product ordered was in stock and paid early afternoon 24th of november, stated delivery date was 27th of november.
Now the 28th of november they did not even ship my order and customer service don't answer my emails with more than a standard email with a link which contain very little information.

Jacob changed the price AFTER we paid and refuses to ship my order until I pay the added costs!
We placed a sizeable order 8 days ago. Paid for it one day later. Now got a message that the article is not deliverable, but the exact same article IS in stock according to their website. So we called them, it turns out that this is indeed the same article, but from a different, more expensive shipment. So they demanded that we paid extra. We ordered the article when it cost €545, and now it costs 615. So they asked me to pay €70 extra. This is unacceptable, the moment I place the order, we made the agreement that for the price of €545, Jacob would deliver the item. This cannot be changed afterwards. We called again, and they would not budge, we were offered a €15 discount, but that's nowhere close to the amount that we agreed on in the first place. That was just insulting.
This is outrageous and unacceptable. We cancelled those items and unless Jacob can offer us an acceptable solution, we will NEVER order there again.

I live in the AZORES, FAIAL HORTA.
I ordered a CPU Intel 7700K and a COOLER MASTER PRO4, after three weeks i still have not received my order, i sent 3 E-Mails, and still no answer from JACOB ELEKTRONIK.
In Europe, there is the : Zentrum für Europäischen Verbraucherschutz
for any problem like this for an amount of up to 2000 euros.
I will wait another a day or two and then maybe try this.

On 6 August 2017 I ordered computer parts worth app. EUR 1,000 from Jacob Elektronik GmbH in Germany to be shipped to Brussels where I live. DHL starts by sending the package to Luxembourg. Finally they attempt to deliver on 11 August but since it is not possible to arrange delivery to pick up point before several failed delivery attempts naturally I'm at work. The note in my mailbox is illegible (yes even the numbers) and half of the numbers in the tracking number are crossed out meaning I have to waste plenty of time and energy to retrieve the correct tracking number. I finally retrieve the correct number (which is completely different from the one apparently on the note) and can reschedule new delivery on the website. I really need the parts so I take a full day off as it is impossible to specify less than an entire day which is in itself horrendously poor service. On the day nothing happens. I reschedule and take the next full day off too but still nothing, no communication. I contact DHL for the xxx time and they have absolutely no clue - as unprofessional as can be imagined - from their unenthusiastic response they don´t care much either. They finally acknowledge on 24 August that they have completely messed up the delivery and have no clue whatsoever where the shipment is. Since then DHL is processing the seller's claim for reimbursement and both parties refuse to reimburse me the 1,000 Euros and settle between them meaning that they have not only failed to deliver the goods that I have paid a large sum for - they are also holding me hostage for 65 days and counting as I cannot afford to buy the parts I desperately need before I receive the reimbursement which is nowhere in sight. I cannot urge you enough to stay away from DHL and Jacob Elektronik GmbH - If something goes wrong you will receive no communication and no help - and they will even ask you to pay while they do nothing to solve the issue. Fortunately there are cheaper and better alternatives out there and if you care about the things you order it simply isn't worth the risk to buy from Jacob Elektronik GmbH.
Update: Finally on 20 November - 106 days after placing the order - I received my money back. Thus the bottom line is that this business kept my money for more than a quarter of a year knowing that they would not be able to deliver the goods I paid for. I believe that this speaks for itself. You all know that there are better suppliers out there - my advice is that you avoid the horrible service offered by Jacob Elektronik GmbH and get your components from a more trustworthy supplier - the uncertainty and extreme waiting time is simply not worth it.

Will never use this site again.
I have ordered a macbook pro and ddr3 ram from this website. The next day after I put the order, they sent me an email asking me to send a copy of my ID or passport due to the frequent fraud when paying by credit card. But I was using my debit card. So I refused it and said since it's debit card, they can deliver the items after they received.
Later I found my orders can no longer be found in my login but the same macbook appeared on their website again with higher price.
This Monday, I saw the money was withdrawn from my bank account so I sent them an email again asking for the status of my orders. They said the orders have been cancelled because of some payment issue via credit card... This is obviously an excuse, they just don't want to sell the item at the price you saw on their website especially those items on sale. If it's payment issue, how come my money can be withdrawn from my bank?
The only good thing is I get the refund quickly.
I saw some similar stories here on TrustPilot so I will not recommend you to use this website.

I have received week ago an offer but nobody reply on my questions regading prices. No any reactions at all. We still don't know level of discount. Priced are different in compare with prices at website. Quality of service going to be low during las half year. We don't feel that Jacob Elektronik GmbH needs such customers like we are.

It is completely unfair and not respecting customers rights seller. I was waiting for my item more then 3 weeks, after which I open dispute on paypal, and on next morning, without any discussion, suggestions, seller canceled my order, on its own. So my three weeks of waiting was for nothing, I lost my time, I lost my money, temporarily, and I could buy this item from another shop, and already use it. I did everything what I should, I bought an item which was for selling, I made payment, and seller did nothing, I think such a behavior of such a sellers should penalized.

I ordered an IP camera, but it took 12 days before I got the parcel. The item was put in a tight box without any soft material surrounding it. The customer service is capable of writing in English and replies pretty quickly. They also accepted a non-standard payment method when shipping the item to Denmark and without charging more. But for the inadequate packaging and the slow delivery I will have to give them only 3 stars.
