Submitted inquiry on the website. The website was originally I thought was j-willsenglishbulldogs.org but when I tried to look it up again it wasn't there it was a puppy and not dogs. The email comes as j-wills English bulldogs home with the above email address in another line. He wanted a deposit to hold the pup. I sent and then asked for a contract. He didn't want to send one because he said it would state that the pup was mine but I haven't paid it all yet. He talked about a lawyer and that all of the paperwork is done after full payment so I asked him to send my money back if he can't provides something outlining terms of the contract. He agreed and came back with the attached bill of sale/sales contract. He said It would be 600 for pup 50 extra if I wanted him shipped. He was out of Texas I am in California. I was very hesitant the entire time but he assures me I could relax that the transaction wouldn't be a big deal. (The deposit was sent walmart to walmart through money gram.) once I got the contract I went to send the rest of the money but he wanted it regular MoneyGram instead of Walmart to Walmart. I thought it was strange. Why? Whats the difference. Then I started noticing the times on the emails. What he would send to me is my time and what I would send to him was 8 hours later. And looking at them originally I didn't even pay attention to it I guess. I didnt notice. At this point, i pretty much knew I was out the 650 but I still played along. He "went to do a change of ownership," he said it was done and he would be making travel arrangements. I asked him if he could email me the registration to which he ignored. I emailed him over the next few hours for progress. His next email informed me that the weather conditions arent safe for the puppy and they are requiring a special crate. I told him I cant imagine that this would be the first time he ran into this issue and if he was making travel arrangements with a reputable company that ships pets via airplane the temperature would be regulated. I started to do some googling, which now I realize maybe I should have done it, to begin with but he sent me a picture of the mom and dad that I asked for in one of the initial emails. And more pics of the pup. I did a google image lookup and the picture is attached to a few social media websites it looked like. There is also a pic of what I imagined to be him and his wife and one of the parent dogs on the about us page of the website and did a search on that image and got a lot of blog hits but nothing I could find with the name he gave me. I asked him to send my money back and he said I need to send a payment for the crate and if I did he would "appreciate it so much" that he would refund me my money and still send the pup. I was over it. And told him a crate was not part of our contract and I would like my money and also pointed out that the puppy I paid for is still up on the site as available. No response.
