They DO NOT work for Microsoft as they told me. They said they were hired by Microsoft to fix IT problems. They charged me $550.00 to fix my computer, printer and laptop after a Microsoft called told me I was hacked. They didn't do anything but scan my computer which I can do myself. When I thought I was calling Microsoft after many calls from ITechline, they purported to be Microsoft workers and listened to my complaint about them. Come to find out, it was them all the time. I called my credit card company this morning and will get a full refund as this is a big time fraud. DO NOT use them.

cost of cleanup virus on laptop and desktop computors
I was trying to install McAfee Security on my pc .I though i was talking to AOL Tech people because I pay for a AOL package which includes McAfee Security.I found out It was ITech , they said I had viruses on my computors that they could clean up. I panicked and said ok and had to pay $199.00 for a 3 month program each computor.I found out that I could have done it for free by down loading a free Malwarebyte progam that scans your programs and will fix it. I found this out because i got a Trogan horse on my desktop 2 weeks later . I downloaded a free Malwarebyte program and fixed it myself. I then reloaded McAfee Security through AOL. THe cost was Zero. Can you help me?

Cold call rip off scam.
I got a cold call telling me that they were calling from Microsoft and my computer was being hacked. They said that they could fix my problem for $199.99. The only thing they did was put spy wear and viruses on my computer as well as another computer in house. I have disputed the charges with my credit card in the amount of $399.98 the cost for both computers.

Computer tech support
This company said they were Acer tech support, I had some questions about my computer, they took some info from me, hacked into my computer them told me they needed 199.00 to fix my computer. I told them I don't have that kind of money so they quoted me 149.00.They had me so convinced that my computer was all messed up and they would fix the problem's for that amount and so stupid me agree to the 20 minute fix that turned into 6 hours and they made a total mess of my computer, they have all my banking info, they are LIAR'S THIEF'S, CROOKS, SCAMMER'S. I couldn't even get on line, they wanted me to wait untill the following day to finish working on my computer. I threw a fit and told Akki and Mona to put my computer back to the way it was before they messed it all up, that took another 2 hour's, I still could not get on line, so I threw another fit told them I best be getting my money back and I curse them. Within a minute I was back on line and was told I would get my money refunded, today is Sunday so I will find out tomorrow if they truly did refund the 149.99. People like these people make me want to never ever trust anybody ever again. These people are sick and I would love to be the driver of the KARMA BUS. liar's thief's crook's, they are bad people real bad people. I am 85 yrs old, live on ss. What is wrong with people?

Taken for a ride - not laughing
I had an issue with my security and called what I thought was their support, instead was redirected to itechline who after letting them have access to my machine.mistake #1 they showed me in my registry I was getting hacked and they would fix it for good for $199.99 - then an east Indian came on the phone.red flag in minds eye so to cut to the chase I ended up letting them attempt a fix that my security did not charge for they said after contacting the REAL support.as of now the charge is pending and the card it was put on has been alerted but they say after it goes through they can help resolve the matter.while I tried in good faith calling their customer service to cancel their so called contract they (another east Indian) inform me since services rendered which was nothing I could not have done.it is their story and they are sticking to it.the reality is what they did was mess up my machine.now they are asking to try to have at it again to resolve what has been fixed so it is not going to happen.also when asked about a refund they offed $50 back not what was charged.
moral of this is if you have a problem make sure you get information from the source NOT a third party.hopefully my card company can make headway I couldn't.good rule of thumb
if you get someone on the phone you can't or have a hard time understanding it should be a huge red flag.totally ticked off
