I have had a horrible experience purchasing from Italiankitchenaids. I had hoped that this issue would have been resolved by now, but 6 months on I still have no coffee machine or refund. Essentially it feels like I have been conned out of over €2000.
I purchased a Quick Mill Vetrano 2B coffee machine from Italiankitchenaids in September 2020, the machine did arrive a week later, however it did not work from the very start. After sending the machine to Italiankitchenaids local service company (Italiankitchenaids to not handle warranty issues directly but engage 3rd party companies in the local country), they confirmed there was internal damage to the steamer. The machine was returned to Italy immediately. As the machine was returned within 14 days, I requested the refund to which I was entitled. At this point the merchant stopped responding to my emails. I escalated this situation to my credit card company and I was told that Italiankitchenaids were trying to get in contact with me to deliver the machine back to me again. This was completely false. However, all my emails and phone calls to Italiankitchenaids to date remain unanswered.
Also just to highlight for other potential customers, please note that italiankitchenaids and coffeitalia are the same company. As mentioned above they have contracts with local businesses to service machines under warranty. They do not appear to handle warranty issues directly. They do not appear to have any stock depth, as any initial questions about sending a replacement machine went unanswered.
