Be very careful of customer service - they only promise response in 48 hours, and the product seems very buggy to me... so you need faster response times! So don't expect immediate results.

Also beware of the bundle deals. It is not entirely obvious what final price you are going to pay - you can figure it out, you just have to be on your toes.

I have been asking for a refund only 1-2 hours after I ordered, and I have not been refunded any money.

Please keep in mind, that this software loads the xHelpercompact.exe in the “program/common files” (Google! Wondershare HelperCompact) and in appdata/local/iskysoft.

There are a number of complaints floating around about iSkysoft video converter, and from my experience they ring true. The product doesn't always fulfill what it claims to, and several folks I know have purchased it and received the wrong product, and then charged more to "fix" the problem. The classic bait and swtitch. Also, this company has a pretty bad reputation doing aggressive, false, and misleading advertising, such as using the names of competitors, eg VLC, Handbrake, and Mplayer to hook users in and then redirect them to their product instead. There are much better free alternatives that do not utilize such practices, such as MEncoder, Handbrake, MPEG Streaclip, ffmpeg, Any video converter, etc. Avoid this.

I hate having used time on downloading and installing programs, then to find out that they cost money to use. Put the price on the download link, and not in the bottom of the page where only 5% looks.
