What a fabulous day!! My husband and I love food, and we had two days in Venice before leaving for our cruise so we decided to research cooking classes. We found Mama Isa immediately and reached out to her to book a class. When booking the class, she was responsive, informative, and a pleasure to work with. We decided on the pizza making class and it far surpassed all of our expectations! From the start she made sure that we had all the necessary tools for a successful class. Her classes are held in her adorable Italian apartment, which just adds to the whole experience. We were able to find her apartment easily with her instructions and were welcomed with open arms by Isa and her husband. Mama Isa went beyond just showing how to cook, but she explained the science of cooking and the complexities of different flavors/tastes and why it all works together.
Each step was explained, then demonstrated, and then we had our hand at it. And oh my goodness, our pizzas were AMAZING! We vowed not to eat any other pizza in Italy because we wanted to remember the taste forever!
Mama Isa is a joy to work with, a wonderful teacher, extremely knowledgable, and a gracious host. We definitely recommend her classes and we will tell all our family and friends if they are in Venice, Mama Isa's Cooking Classes are the place to be!

We had the best time learning how to make pasta from scratch and a simple yet delicious sauce! Mama Isa was very sweet and patient with us. She taught us well and can’t wait to use our new skills to make our very own pasta from scratch!

I did my cooking class with Mamma Isa middle of August and it was an amazing experience! I was really looking forward to it, that was the highlight of my trip to Venice and I absolutely loved every minute The result was absolutely delicious and we were very warmly welcomed into their home
I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Venice who wants to learn traditional Italian cooking. Mama Isa and her husband were amazing, very welcoming, sharing with us their huge knowledge. We made fresh pasta, tiramisu and Venetian meatballs and everything was delicious. This will be without a doubt the best part of my holidays.

My mother and I went on a three week European trip to kick off 2019. We planned the trip on the fly. We visited Lisbon, London, and several Italian cities (Rome, Florence, Venice). This was the highlight of our trip! We reached out less than 24 hours before we wanted to take a class with Mama Isa. Booking was easy, Mama Isa gave us great instructions, and checked on us and we traveled to Padova from Venice. It was just me and my mother in the class. The pizza making class was amazing. Mama Isa took her time and explained each step. She took pictures of us and would instruct us what to take pictures of to reference when we want to make Pizza in the future. The wine was also excellent. We made three different pizzas over the course of three and a half hour course. I would highly recommend.

Mama Isa is an Italian gem that all need to discover. From her customer service, to cooking, to learning the history behind what you are actually making, Mama Isa does it all. When we came across Mama Isa's website we sent an inquiry via WhatsApp that was responded to within a few short hours. She provided us with detailed directions to her cooking studio that were fool proof and easy to follow. We were welcomed into her home with a hug and brought to the cooking area which was immaculately clean with all tools and ingredients provided. Mama Isa allowed US to do the cooking while providing helpful instruction and history where the dishes we were making originated from. We cooked for 2.5-3 hours and then were able to enjoy the dishes we made with a few glasses of wine and some limoncello! This was the highlight of our honeymoon and we recommend to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

I was in Northern Italy over Christmas. I wanted to take a cooking class but several places were closed. Then I found Mama Isa Cooking Schoool and I am so glad they were all closed! Otherwise I might have missed this gem of an experience. Booking was easy and personalized. On the day of the class Chef Isa opened her home and led us through her family recipes. We got to eat the lovely food with excellent local wine with homemade limoncello as a digestif. Before we left, she made sure we could find our way around the market and shops of Padova. I highly recommend Mama Isa”s Cooking School. I cannot wait until my next trip to Northern Italy so I can take another class!

Wow! This class so amazing! From booking to the end of class to afterwards, Mama Isa and her husband Stefano took care of us. Mama Isa tailored the class to our interest in gelato and fresh pasta. She was an amazing teacher, even letting us know where to find certain ingredients and what would be suitable replacements here in the states. She has also answered questions for us after the class. During the class peaked all our senses. The aromas, colors, tastes and also touch were wonderful. She far exceeded my expectations.
