Won’t give refund even thought my mother bought me the trainers the day before in the cavan store.I wanted a pair of vans.They did not have my size where as next door had,life style sports.The manager said its company policy and had the Garda in 3 times this week over the same reason.So now I have a credit voucher for a store that I would not go into again.And no new trainers .Absolutely terrible customer service.

Scammers and crooks. Ordered canvas sketchers shoes . They sent men's flip flops. When i queried was told the small print says product and style may vary.
I could return at my cost but no guarantee that I would receive the one's displayed on website. Totally misleading.
Disgusting way to scam customers. Stay away from these gangsters. BUYER BEWARE

My daughter ordered football boots on 26 December 2017.
Order was processed and email was received with order with courier.
When we clicked on order, it went into 'Fastway' Website and link stated that no scan could be found. 10 days later, still no scan with Fastway courier. I eventually got number for fastway - that was hard work - 1 1/2 hours on hold with fastway and a polite lady stated that they never received order. Email I received was a pre-scan of item and no order existed.
5 emails later still no reply from Sports direct, I have since cancelled order and still no reply from Sports direct.. I have made a complaint to online dispute resolution http: //ec. europa .eu/odr. and will wait and see. Never again will I order online from Sports Direct.. absolute sham.. I will wait and see when I actually get my money back...

I ordered a punching bag for €279.99 from Irish Sports Warehouse on Wednesday 14th December 2016 and was told on Thursday 15th December that my purchase is with DPD. They gave me a tracking number. I did not hear from Irish Sports Warehouse so I tried to get hold of them today by telephone and emails with no luck. The punching bag is for my son for xmas. The phone was not even ringing at all today. I rang DPD and they said Irish Sports Warehouse did not send my purchase to them. I have emailed Irish Sports Warehouse and telephoned them with no luck. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Who runs a business with no phone system. I will not be letting this go as I will get a company search done on this company and find out who the director of the company is and expose this fraudulent company for what they really are.

Stay away this company are a fraud i bought a treadmill 3 weeks ago it stopped working after a week 3 weeks later they are not interested they said they would sen a circuit board that was going in thr ROYAL MAIL on the 28th of November it never arrived and now they cant be got on the phone and will not respond to email.
My advise do not purchase or have anything to do with this company they are a scam.

One of the worst companies around. I reviewed this business last week after I bought a cross trainer that failed to arrive on time. Sports warehouse were fast to respond and I received my order... Broken.
I contacted them immediately and was told another would be sent out to me either on Monday the 29th or Tues the 30th at the latest. Well to is Tuesday and no trainer, I just rang them and was told " we don't know when it will be delivered maybe tomorrow " I have an email from the company stating it will be delivered on Tuesday.
Really bad customer service Irish sports warehouse i wish I read all the bad reviews your company has received over time before wasting my time and money.
Word to the wise.. Shop somewhere else, their products are cheap for a reason.

Wednesday 31St update.
Well my cross trainer was apparently lost by Dpd couriers. I now have to wait another week for delivery but, they can collect the broken one in a couple of days yet can't send the new one at the same time????? This " business " needs to be reported to the consumer watchdog.
Odd they have not replied to this review they are usually very quick to comment and blame someone else usually the courier service. Because it's never their own fault. Come on Irish sports warehouse, what do you have to say?
Rang Dpd couriers (as jade in irish sports warehouse told me that Dpd had lost the cross trainer,) and they never had the replacement cross trainer in their possession in the first place , so Irish sports warehouse are not being honest it seems. Their manager was supposed to ring me yesterday evening to explain why I have not received my purchase, no call came. I rang thus morning to check the status of my delivery and was told by jade once again the manager would ring me in ten minutes, no call came. I have reported this business to the consumer watchdog, i was informed they have twice breached the customer contract ny failing to deliver on the delivery date stated. If the product has not been delivered by 14th of this month they are in breach of European consumer law. Will update again soon.
I was finally, after several calls to this company, contacted by the manager, who assured me my purchase would be delivered this week. She refunded me a small amount of money and told me she would ring me on Monday the 5th and let me know when my purchase would be delivered, either Tuesday or Wednesday. No call came. Today the 6th I rang again and was told, yes, it's on its way, between 4-6pm. No delivery arrived, I rang Dpd couriers and was told they never had a delivery for me.
Says it all really, staff that lie to customers, a " business " who takes payment for purchases and don't deliver.

I bought a faulty treadmill from Irish Sports Wearhouse,after arranging for delivery and hanging around the house for 2 days i called to find out why it had not been delivered, i was told that the delivery was too heavy for one man and here waiting for some conformation for a second delivery guy. Finally it was delivered at the end of day 2. it worked for a week then died, I called " customer care " who told me to take apart the treadmill and check all the cables and to make sure that the belt was running strightand they would call me back after talking to their technicians, well long story short after calling and speaking to them a handful of times, they finally decided that they would send me a new motor that i would have to install myself, i finially received the motor a week later and had it installed, after installing it sounded like a 747 taking off, so i called once more ( by the way make sure you withhold your ph # because they probably have it flaged and dont pick up when you call) anyway they told me that they would replace the treadmill, they would pick up tthe faulty one the next day and the new one would be delivered the next week, I waited all the next day and nobody called to pick up, so i once again called their so called CUSTOMER CARE just to be told that that puck up was put off until Monday, why woul you leave somebody hanging around all day after taking another day off work and not tell them nobody was coming to pick up that iteam and also nobody bothered to tell me that i needed to pack it up in a box to be returned, not sure where your suppose to get a box tbat size, so it was decided that we would wait until i received the new one and i could pack the old one in that box, then call them to let them know it was ready for pick up, as i did, it was arranged once more for the next day (today), after taking another day off work and waiting most of the at home once again , nobody called for the pick up, so once more i called just to be told once more that it was put off until the following day, what a joke, do they really think that i am giong to wait around another day for them not to show up, this company is a bed room operation that has no clue how to deal with the public, once they have your money do not expect to get much service from them, i have also written them a letter of complaint and sent it by post and email and have not even received acknowledgement of the complaint. So unless you have money you dont want, plenty of time to waste, and lots of headache tablets, then i would do my shopping someplace else.

Ive had nothing short of a nightmare with this company my bike was ordered 16th November 2015 when it arrived i opened the box to find parts miswelded not fit for there purpose and bike frame damaged,it was packed like this as the outer box was perfect no damage i emailed the company the pictures as proof and rang on countless occasions ,always told the same thing that the bike will be collected and money refunded when bike back in warehouse ,each day of collection ive booked a full day of work waiting in house to be let down..ive paid more money calling the company at this stage than the bikes worth...so here i am on the 8th of February still stuck with this damaged bike out a fortune on days took off waiting on delivery driver and on the phone to the company ....never ever would i recommend anybody to even think of buying of this company

I ordered a massage bed on the 8th of December and was told shipping takes 7-10 days. Didn't come after 10 days so I rang and would be told it would be at my house the next day, the phone service was very slow and was waiting for someone for 25 minutes. I then said I would wait and see would it come at all before the holidays which it didn't so I said I would wait again until after, I rang again early January and was waiting a while to talk to someone again! When I answered I was told it would be delivered the next day, I could tell she was lying through her teeth so I just cancelled the order. Customer service was terrible and I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone! AVOID!

Frustrated and disappointed with customer service. Ordered a treadmill at end of November 2014 from this company, when delivered it was faulty and had to be sent back. We eventually got a replacement in January 2015, however trying to get this delivered and the old one collected was frustrating slow. At beginning of December 2015 the 2nd treadmill has now broken down. When I contacted the company they immediately replied saying it was a problem with the circuit board and they'd sent out a replacement for us to install, I noted I wouldn't be confident of doing this as I have no experience on such. On the following day a different service rep called by wife and said we were nearly out of warranty and that we would need to send photos of the current circuit board so they knew exactly what to send out. In following days I took photos and emailed them to the company. Over the last month I have received no communication although I have followed up with 4 further emails. My wife sent a further email yesterday and has received a call today noting that contrary to the first two service people who emailed and phoned at beginning of December they would not replace the part as they see us out of warranty, based on purchase taking place in November 2014, although we didn't receive product till January 2015. We would have to pay them for the part and install it ourselves. They also told my wife they replied to me via email, a reply I never received. Poor products from our experience, terrible service, hiding behind the fact they are an Internet company.

I recently purchased a trampoline and received confirmation of my order.
Three days later I received an email informing me that the model ordered was no longer available and requesting that I telephone to either select a different model or to arrange for a refund.
After many attempts at phoning, in desperation I emailed a request for them to phone me. No result! The following day I again tried phoning and eventually got an automated answer in spite of their website saying that you would always reach a "human". After about fifteen minutes I finally got to talk to an operator.
An alternative trampoline was selected and delivery scheduled for the next day which was a Friday. Friday came and went and delivery finally took place on the following Wednesday.
Can these people really have so little care for customer relations?
I had to witness the disappointment of a young man as he waited in vain for his trampoline.
My advice to anybody contemplating purchasing from this company would be to give them a wide birth.

Bought treadmill, arrived with broken parts, tried ringing took 2 days to get someone, said they had ordered parts, 2 weeks no sign, back on phone they don't answer, finally got someone and was told the post lost them! Waiting now again, buy somewhere else to get the product when you buy it not a month waiting.
December now still waiting on right part, the girl on the phone told me to use the treadmill without casing and leave the motor exposed! She said perfectly safe! Apparently they sending another one out, will be the third time saying this and still no part.
Don't use these people, bad customer service after they get your money. Won't reply to mails for weeks and don't answer their phones.
January! Have to get a solicitor or small claims involved. They have now started giving me false tracking numbers. After that they ignore my communication. The part never arrives!!

I have ordered a treadmill and 2 days later the status was still "processing" so I gave them a call and they confirmed that it was already dispatched and just the website is not updated so I should receive it on Monday or Tuesday. After I spoke to them I thought may be they were just lying as the status is still processing BUT on Monday morning I received a call and an hour later they were here with my treadmill. I am so happy with the service and I would recommend it to everybody and I am not easily pleased so based on my experience I would recommend it. I gave them 4 stars simply because they didn't update their website and I had to call to find out that it was dispatched other than that everything was great. Keep it up Irish Sports Warehouse.

I purchased an Ironman 3 station gym from this company last year, a structural fault occurred after 11 & 1/2 months. I notified the company by email and they said they would order a replacement part straight away. When the part failed to be delivered as promised, I contacted the company and received the email below;

I ordered a Body Sculpture BE-6720G Elliptical Trainer.
It's a little bit more expensive but I wanted a) a quiet trainer and b) it has height-adjustable legs which can make it more stable to operate. (You can adjust the legs to make it stable on uneven flooring for example.)
Firstly, I ordered the Cross-trainer late Tuesday evening on the 24th March, 2015 and it arrived the following Friday afternoon on the 27th March.
I received an email from the courier company informing me of the tracking number and expected delivery time, which made being available to receive it no hassle. The website said between 14:30 and 15:30 and the courier arrived at 14:33.
The thing weighed over 41kg! Perhaps a tip is in order.. People tip waitresses for carrying a cup of coffee, why not a courier lugging your 40+ kg items?
Secondly, I've read Alice McGrath's review which I think is kind of unfair to be honest.
I actually had the same problem and it's the end of March, she ordered the item in the middle of winter ("just before Christmas"). The cold tends to shrink metal.
Rather than blow a gasket, I boiled a big pot of water, placed a square piece of cardboard from the packaging near the trainer and placed the pot on that and soaked the ends of the pieces that would benefit being a bit bigger in the boiling water for a couple minutes.
Magic. They fit after that.
Of course I was careful and made sure not to allow water to go down inside the tubing. (Most of it evaporated straight away anyway after I took the part out.) I also had to soak the ends of the crank shafts in the boiling water to allow the part to be attached to them. (I rotated the crank shaft with my hand so it pointed down and gently lifted the pot of boiling water under it to immerse the section where the screw goes in for a couple minutes.)
I then carefully dried the excess water and applied the lubricating grease which came with the package on the right area(s). The piece was a bit stiff to fit on.. but it was much easier after warming it up.
Physics 101. If it's hot, it tends to expand.
Also, applying the lubricating grease to the right spots will probably help to prevent certain bolts and washers from moving. I suggest you try it.
I hope to get a lot of use out of this cross-trainer. :-)
Though I will say that the smaller Allen-key provided by the factory is rather inadequate. It deformed making using it impossible. (Not the fault of Irish Sports Warehouse, of course.)
I was able to use it to hold the Allen-screw while using the included wrench to turn the bolt.. But I do recommend using a stronger Allen key of the same size, if you have one available.
I cut my fingers when it deformed and my hand snapped against the metal frame.

I purchased a replacement 14ft safety net for a Big air trampoline with them. They didn't have this product listed on their website so I had to ring them to put through the order. They were very pleasant to deal with and the order went through fine. Only problem I had was I got no email confirmation of the order and I had to email them back looking for my order number (Just in case something went wrong). I also emailed them back looking for a receipt for the order but I never got anything back from them.
The order arrived fine and within the stated time scales. I installed it and it's working perfectly.
All in all I didn't have any major problems just a couple of minor niggles. If you are doing a phone order I'd make sure and get the order number off them when you are putting the order through as you may not get a receipt emailed through to you.

Dealing with this company has been the worse I have ever experienced.
My wife, who is almost 70 years old, has recently had major surgery for cancer and as she is unable to get out and about, she searched online for a vibration plate which she wanted as a gift for our grandchild's 21st Birthday.
She placed the order on Monday 19th August and assuming she would have it by the following Saturday, she told our grandchild about her fortcoming gift. Needless to say, she was elated at the news but her joy was shortlived. Each time my wife logged in to the site, her order still showed as being processed. By Wednesday, she became worried that she would not have her order so she phoned the Irish Sports Warehouse. She was told that her order had been despatched on Tuesday and she would receive an email from DPD regarding the time of delivery. By Friday, there was no email from DPD and so I phoned the Irish Sports Warehouse. The person I was speaking to said she would contact the courier and get back to me. Within a couple of minutes, she phoned back to say my order would be delivered between 4pm and 6pm that same day. So we waited and waited and no delivery. I tried contacting both the Irish Sports Warehouse and DPD without success and Saturday morning still no success. I have dealt with DPD on numerous occassions in the past and have always found them to be very reliable so I can only assume that they have not received my order from the Irish Sports Warehouse.
So as not to disappoint my grandchild, I spent all Saturday afternoon travelling through the city in search of a vibration plate and by the time the shops had closed, I still hadn't succeeded in getting one. So, thanks to the Irish Sports Warehouse for ruining my grandchild's 21st birthday celebration.
I sent a message to the Irish Sports Warehouse via their website and I also sent an email but both have been ignored. I have also been phoning them since 9am today (Monday 26th August) and it is now 11.30am but they are not answering their phones. That just about says it all!
I hope everybody who reads this will think twice before placing orders with the Irish Sports Warehouse. They are unreliable and couldn't give two hoots about their customers.
I am still trying to contact the Irish Sports Warehouse and at this stage, I am beginning to think that the business has gone bust along with my money.

After waiting a few days for delivery, the machine arrived with a very badly smashed based so totally unusable, called them within three minutes of delivery company leaving at my property weds so they could take away again, it is now sat, looks like will not receive anything till next weds from them and I am stuck with this large box in my hall till then. Hopefully the next one will be ok. There was no damage to the box or packing just the machine base. Wasnt very happy with the customer service when I phoned but hopefully all will come right when the new machine arrives.
