The housing was better than expected. As a parent, I wished there could have been more communication before arrival, but other than that My daughter and I, as her parent, were very satisfied

Easy, accurate, just as advertised. Really was a relief to find a great place for my daughter to live this summer in NYC on short notice.

The building is beautiful!!!! And the RAs and staff at Pace were amazing. Though I did not get anytime to spend on any activities (I was working till 2 am - 6 days a week) it was so nice to see what all you did to engage the interns. The morning surprises were amazing for those of us who could not partake in anything else. The boat tour at the end would have been amazing as well - couldn’t make that either :(
I had one problem in my room -/woke up with several bites - this was handled expeditiously , mattresss changed and stuff bagged so my parents could get it as 8 was at work - thank you!
Loved living here!

Accommodations were great. Did not seem like my roommate survey was taken into account. My assigned roommate and I had very different standards as far as bedtime, cleanliness, etc which took away from the experience

I had a terrible experience. The housing provided by Intrnz was advertised as intern housing but it was quite literally just a freshman dorm. I was on the 30th floor and the elevator was broken for about half of the duration of my stay. Also, my air conditioning leaked all over my room (which was slanted) the entire summer and I sent multiple emails to maintenance with no resolution. Not to mention the INSANE guest rules, the awful people at the front desk told my guest that he should sleep at the Dunkin' Donuts down the street since he arrived 15 minutes after the check in deadline for the night which was 1am (which is crazy, clearly people are going to be out past 1am on a Friday night). Also, the kitchen was advertised as being a large, shared facility; it was always dirty, was literally the size of my tiny dorm room, and was shared by the ENTIRE building which was 34 floors worth of people. The amount of money that I was charged by Intrnz was absurd and I feel that I was beyond ripped off. If you are looking for summer housing in NYC do not do Intrnz, you could live at NYU for 3/4 of the price and much better facilities or find a nice apartment to sublet for half of the price of what Intrnz is charging.

Intrnz does not organize the program well, and it was in terrible coordination between Intrnz and Pace University. The kitchen was tiny and always crowded with people, not to mention the dorm room sized "gym." The WiFi was also a huge issue since Intrnz guests were not provided a password to the official Pace network, and instead I has to sign in as a guest every. single. time (every single day) that I wanted to use the internet. When I connected with the Pace Tech team, they told me this was the only way I could use the internet in the building since I was staying with Intrnz. The elevators were a hassle since half of them were broken all the time which added a 20 minutes onto my morning commute if it was down to just one elevator. Additionally, the trash chute on each floor was locked and out of use 90% of the summer which lead me to leaving the trash in the bin next to the elevator along with everyone else on the floor. The recycling needed to be taken out more often because I never once saw the bin empty all summer as well. One last thing-- I noticed a few times that one of the two elevators which went to the top of the Beekman building would be turned off from service so that the maintenance crew could load it with trash and other things. This is great and all, however when this is happening between the hours of 7-10am, it causes major delays for a weekday morning commute and adds to the hassle of everything else this building stresses on its residents. Suggestion is to have maintenance crew do these tasks in the middle of the day when all the interns are at the companies and their work delay our commute to ours. Ultimately, the price being paid is not worth the quality of the space or any of the amenities. By the end of the summer I was looking forward to moving out as soon as possible.
