I've been working with them for years as a reseller but my recent experience with them is more than disappointing. Must have called customer support at least 20 times to no avail. Web support did reply but have been unable to resolve a simple problem, even after escalating it to 2nd line support. Now we're stuck and I have to look elswhere. :(

All we expected.
Our experience with Intermedia has been without any problems which could be immediately solved. We have had not only excellent service and an expanded phone system but also a large reduction in costs.

- MISLED re INTEGRATION: Sales told me that Intermedia integrated with NetSuite. It turns out they don't without development. NetSuite integration was a key determining factor in choosing Intermedia over others. When I cancelled, they refused to give back the prorated monthly charges, despite the fact that the only reason I left to go to 8x8 was because they didn't integrate!
- SUPPORT HOLD TIMES: I've called / chatted with support at least a dozen times in the six months we were with them; It has taken 15 minutes to get someone to help (though they are very good once you get them).
+ SOUND QUALITY - sound quality was very good
+ SUPPORT QUALITY - support was excellent, once you actually get someone

Please take your time and read the bad reviews below, they say it all. support is the worst I have ever experienced!
No way to cancel online eventough they say "send an email" in the user portal they refuse to accept it and make you chase 5 different department and phoen numebers. Apparently nobody is responsible for terminating an account. Its a big scam do not fall into that trap guys.
They want your money and do everything they can so you cannot cancel

The Easyjet of hosted email. All good when everything works. However, if anything stopped working, you can expect nothing. If your email is critical and time sensitive, I would suggest to look around. Last week, their email service failed (Friday) and this morning, 3 days later, there has been any information or explanation to the clients. That's really bad customer service. Just like easyjet.

I have been an Intermedia customer for over five years now (Account ID 1208506). For years the company and their staff were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and trustworthy partners for any small to medium size business. I often referred clients and friends to Intermedia for hosted exchange services. I had three of my companies using Intermedia and called in on September 6, 2018 regarding a new company that I am forming and I decided I wanted to discuss their VOIP services in addition to the hosted exchange for the company. I talked to Adrian G. (Customer Account Manager) and he put together a quote that he e-mailed me while we were on the phone. We scheduled a conference call to go over to proposal and get everything setup (at this time I informed him I needed to have the setup complete by Friday). Adrian G. sent me a meeting request and when the meeting date and time came around he was a no show. I called into the conference bridge he sent me and I sat on the phone waiting for 15 minutes until I hung up the phone. I proceeded to call Intermedia to ask if they could track down Adrian G. for me and I was told he had called in sick that day. He asked if I could wait until Adrian G. came back or if I wanted them to find someone else for me to talk to. I told him I needed to make a decision before the end of the day. I was put on hold again and the young man came back on the line and said Adrian G.'s manager was trying to find someone to talk to me. I told the young man I was speaking to that I did not have time to sit on the phone anymore and I was giving Intermedia one hour to call me back or I would go with another provider. He said he wished he could help me, but he was on a different team and he was not allowed to. So I am a 3cx VOIP client and not an Intermedia telecom client. Adrian G.'s manager would not get on the phone with me himself or herself and no one called me back within the hour. As a matter of fact here we are 12 days later and I have still not heard from anyone with Intermedia regarding the complete waste of my time.
The hosted exchange solutions are just what my companies’ need, but it might be time for me to review other options. My honest opinion is that over the last few years they have increased their product offering and instead of being masters of their craft they are a jack of all trades and masters of none! All I can say now is…steer clear folks!!!

Not good. I tried for two weeks to port away one phone number (toll free) from Intermedia. It still isn't ported away. They say it's be my name appears on two lines on the form and it can only appear on one line. Talk about a jack around. I have emailed and been on the phone countless times. I pay the $14.95 per month and they are jacking me around to save that amount of revenue. They must be desperate. I would not recommend doing business with a company that does not use common sense nor do they empower their employee's to use common sense.

Not good, several calls a day get dropped after two rings. Been working back and forth with them for over a year, most recently I had them do a deep annalist for several days where they took remote control of my computer to see why some calls go through and some do not, and still the problem remains, and instead of a call back to go over what they found, I get back emails saying case is closed.
All the staff have been pleasant, but after a year of working with them and no answers and I have to be the one to keep it going, I would stay far away from this company, unless you do not mind losing potential customers because of dropped calls.

I run a small engineering business and I regret switching to Intermedia. I used their service for only 5 months before I had to switch providers. Running a small business is challenging enough. Having continuous issues with your phone system is a challenge you do not need. They say they have great support but I didn't experience it. I had nothing but problems from day 1. They are a large company and don't care about customer support...at all. If you are thinking of using Intermedia, I recommend looking for a different option.

Zen took over our domain and internet provision over a year ago and we have been delighted with their service. The changeover was easy, without any problems and anytime we need help or a question answered there is a person who knows the reply. We changed to Zen because of their service record and are very pleased we did.

Intermedia has been one of the best vendors we've partnered with since we discovered touch less sink faucets. We never have to worry about putting our clients onto their service platform as their service has been rock solid since day one.
When things do go awry (as they do with even the best technology) their support is absolutely astonishing. Not only do we get in touch with a live person quickly and efficiently but our issue is always resolved either right away or consistently followed-up with during the process of getting it resolved.
In turn, we've been able to reduce our overhead costs by outsourcing our services to Intermedia and our profits have soured since doing so.

Frankly, in over 6 years with Intermedia, we never had an issue that was not resolved / attended to immediately upon reporting. All issues are communicated while it is ongoing and upon resolution.... Communication is the best.

If you use Outlook, you should consider having your email server being an Exchange one. Many such Exchange hosts are intended for large enterprises and priced accordingly--and require a large number of clients, not just one or two email account as SOHO's have. Intermedia is one of the few enterprise grade Exchange (and many other services) providers affordable to many SOHO users (although their prices, and services offered, have both increased across the years). Service includes a free copy of the current version of Outlook. Daily backups of their Exchange servers is a must-have for Outlook email clients. I do wish Intermedia offered email restores by shipped HDD's like Backblaze does. Intermedia has excellent 24/7/365 tech support by phone or online. Aside from Exchange hosting, Intermedia offers a wide variety of other services, such as fax by email, etc.

Where Intermedia truly stands out is their client service. I have always reached support personnel with a good working knowledge of their software. In the rare instances when the initial individual was unable to resolve my issue I was rapidly escalated, regardless of the time (day or night). I'm currently working on moving clients with accounts at a different reseller to Intermedia for precisely this reason. I would recommend Intermedia for hosted solutions with no hesitation.
