Our experience with Interior HomeScapes has been an absolute, horrible nightmare. And looking at some of the other recent negative reviews, we are not the only ones. I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Interior Homescapes, or their brick-and-mortar store Topography Home, to go elsewhere, at least until they make the changes needed to be an upstanding reputable company.
On May 12, 2019 we placed an order with Interior HomeScapes for a Caracole bed frame, for our bedroom in the new home we were moving into on June 1. They use a delivery company, Sun Delivery, which they euphemistically call a “White Glove” delivery service. Sun Delivery was late in delivering this bedframe. When it finally arrived on June 10th, unfortunately, it arrived damaged, so we returned it, and requested a refund.
Interior HomeScapes then sent us an email explaining that we were only entitled to a replacement, not a refund. So we had to wait once again, for another month. Then, to make matters worse, when they called to tell us the day of delivery, it was THE NEXT DAY. Because of this last-minute notification, we had to scramble our work schedules, and ended up losing income as a result. In addition, Sun Delivery told us they'd be arriving between 12pm and 4pm; but then when they showed up early at 10:15am, my wife had to leave an important meeting early to rush back to the house.
Anyway, when the second bed arrived, it was actually more damaged than the original one, with multiple scuff marks, scratches, chips, AND it was missing paint on the lower half of the bed frame! At this point, we called Interior HomeScape’s customer service department, who said there was nothing they could do. They said we had to write up a detailed complaint and to email it to their claims department. They refused to give us a phone number to call. So we sent an email as instructed, and when their claims department responded, it was clear they did not pay attention to our complaint at all. For example, in response to the fact that the lower half was missing paint, they said “it is customary to not paint the back half of the headboard, since this goes against the wall and no one sees it”… well, duh, we know that but that is not what we said! And, yes, you guessed it… they informed us ONCE AGAIN that we were not entitled to a refund, and would have to wait for A THIRD BED FRAME TO BE SHIPPED.
So at this point it is over three months and a half months since our initial order, and we are still sleeping on the floor in our brand new home. This is completely unacceptable. We do not want a third (and fourth, and fifth, etc.) bed shipped. Interior HomeScapes has a flawed mechanism for handling customer complaints. They need to make the appropriate internal changes so that rather than just denying and deflecting unhappy customers, they DO THE RIGHT THING.
Chris Campbell is the CEO of Interior HomeScapes and Topography Home. I am sure he did not build a large online furniture store by deliberately screwing his customers over. He needs to know there is a flaw in how his Claims Department handles legitimate customer complaints, so that he can make those customers happy and convert them into his most loyal fans. We have asked for a refund, we have even told them we would settle for a credit; but so far all we have been told is that Sun Delivery will be contacting us for ANOTHER delivery!

This company has horrible customer service and shopping standards. Took over a month to even hear when our table would be delivered and it arrived broken. Filed a claim and received a “sorry about your luck” response when I stated we couldn’t wait another MONTH for a replacement table. What type of company thinks 2 months to receive a product is acceptable in this day and age? I’ll be sure to share my experience.

This company needs some much needed coaching on what customer service should sound like. Customer service agent had attitude and kept talking over me on top of putting me on hold 3x's to get advice??? Apparently she needs more training.... Asked for Supervisor.....got Chris and he wasn't much better....Not even so much as an acknowledgement of my concern let alone an apology. Just kept repeating what I already knew and could care a less about my $965 order or the agent who was unprofessional. Guess they can afford to lose business....must be nice. Will take my business elsewhere. Do NOT recommend.

BUYER BEWARE! Purchased two expensive Caracole side tables from this company. Another retailer has them on sale. I haven't received the items yet, so I requested a price adjustment. Their policy only allows price matching before you purchase. The extremely rude and condescending customer service rep, Rachel, insisted that the other company (graysonliving.com) had mis-priced the item and that they were going to call them and have them correct it. Since Interior HomeScapes d/b/a Topography Home was charging me about $500 more per item, I inquired about returning the items. They could not tell me in what circumstances a return would be acceptable. They just said that I needed to submit a request in writing and they would let me know if it would be approved. I inquired, in what circumstances a return would be accepted? Rachel would not answer the question. It all seems smoke and mirrors. Rachel would not let me talk to anyone in returns or her manager. She insisted that I could only communicate in email. I would not recommend Interior HomeScapes or Topography Home.

So far so good. The person I spoke was very professional and helpful. I have receives a few emails ( which I appreciate). The item is back ordered but hopeful it will arrive week of 11/20. To me, communication is key. I like being informed as to the status. Thus far, as I stated, this has been the case.

I ordered products. They were shipped white glove. Evidently that means they are not returnable. READ CAREFULLY. What showed up was cheap looking and didn’t look like the picture - cushion was cream and not white. The gray wood looked ridiculous. Now they have a whole lot of my money and I’m left super disappointed.

I just had a very disappointing experience when I ordered some chairs. I felt that customer support was rude, discourteous and insulting. I would not recommend InteriorHomeScapes to anyone. I do not mind sharing details if needed.

The item I ordered was no longer available as it was discontinued by the manufacturer. Customer service was great in that I received a phone call to that effect the day after my order. Very happy from that perspective. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that the item was still on the website.
