Second time we have booked with Interhome. Straight forward process to book on line.
Can’t rate the next part as we won’t use the apartment until next year. Last year’s booking i, checking in etc was simple and the apartment was very good.

I booked a flat ( chalet) in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland for 4 nights, through airbnb which was managed by Interhome.
For unavoidable circumstances, visa rejection, I cancelled my bookings with airbnb with full refund except Interhome. Interhome just asked me to cancel my booking on Airbnb, so that they could rent the flat again on the same dates of my booking, and they charged me for 4 nights, and rent the same flat for other tourists for the same dates.
I wrote to Interhome,Switzerland and customer care,UK, I got nothing but wasting my time and money.
I contacted Interhome before I received the visa rejection asking for key exchange, customer service in Switzerland, was responding in un clear way, and in complete answer.
The received messages from Interhome custmer service after they charged my credit card informed me that they will send full information about the flat three weeks before check in, but I received nothing.Extra fees will be charged upon checking in,that's what I was informed.
I don't recommend Interhome, it's all about money, Poor customer service.

We used Interhome for booking our family holiday this year and have already re-booked for 2020.
The properties are spotless and in great locations the local agents (Javea) were just brilliant and assisted us above and beyond.
Booking was simple.. price breakdowns and all the information you could ever need for peace of mind is available to you immediately. That is priceless, knowing where exactly you are in your booking process and knowing you are dealing with a reputable company.
They truly are hassle free, reliable and helpful.

we were looking for a holiday let in the middle of Spain near a train station and a good base for travelling around. the Interhome let hit all the marks and at a very sensible price easy to book and options of start end days

Booked 2 weeks in Denia, Spain. Apartment was nothing like glossy pictures as shown. Dark and uncomfortable. Our son had to sleep on a broken chair for 3 days as apartment was not as described. Massive water leak from bathroom. We informed Interhome however we never had any response from their office in Denia. Overall for €1650 euros paid for apartment we were so disappointed. We will never use Interhome again. We advise anyone thinking of booking to avoid Interhome and book elsewhere.

Totally dishonest advertisement. Booked rental with pool and paid wifi, when I arrive the Interhome lady tells me no pool and no paid wifi, after they charge my card. Now they refuse to refund the two nights I left. Felt like I was staying in a prison cell. HORRIBLE. Very shady, no ethics. Never ever book, all they do is blame booking.com, never take accountability for their dishonesty. Worst company in Switzerland, dishonest robbers. FALSE advertising, show 6 photos on booking.com, 3 are of pool. No pool.

Be cautious with Interhome and read the fine print of the contracts very carefully. Once you arrive, you have to pay all kinds of additional payments like electricity, and we had to pay 35 euros per person for towels and sheets.
The staff who checked us in and out didn't speak English well at all and answered all of our questions with "I don't know, call management". Chairs and table were rusty and old, and one of the chairs broke just from sitting on it.
Overall, wouldn't recommend Interhome.

Interhome val claret deducted €220 from our credit card.without any advance notice for a lost key. When we queried this the staff member blamed her manager and said there was nothing she could do.We will not be using this agency again. Appalling behaviour.

Seriously not impressed with Interhome in Bredene, Belgium. First night in our holiday apartment, and probably going to have to sleep on bare mattresses. No one here to help after 5pm, no bedding, and hours spent on the phone to Zurich home office.
REPLY Thank you for the reply. Firstly, we have proof that we wrote an email to the local office stating that we wanted to add bedding to our booking, and a reply from them saying that we could have it on arrival no problem. Secondly even the Zurich office (who were very helpful) couldn't contact the local office yesterday. Today everyone has been helpful, and we at last have bedding. This is not how we wanted to start our holiday, stressed, sleeping on bare mattresses and making endless phone calls. The apartment itself is lovely.

we went to Switzerland twice by using interhome. The first was about 6 years ago and it was a very good experience. Thats why we decided to use interhome once again for our second holiday trip to Switzerland. This time it was less enjoyable than before as the home we got was not as clean as advertised and had bugs (cockroaches). washing machine was included with extra cost which was not made clear on the the home advertisement. Most of all the heating was not turned on through out the visit, even on the chilly nights and days. The house used to get cold enough that extra clothing and blankets were required, which is not very convenient or healthy with small kids.
Interhome was not hospitable with any of these issues, simply said that bugs are part of the surrounding greenery and heating was not in their hands as its regulated by the house landlord abroad somewhere.
My advice is that be aware while booking with interhome. i think they used to be a good company but now it needs some work. And they need to work on their customer services as well.

We just got back from our nightmare trip compliments of interhome. Rented a place in Italy. Strada di strove 49 monteriggioni. It was advertised with bbq, washing machine, quaint etc. What a joke. The place was filthy. Cockroach infested. No bbq. Washing machine had rotting towels in it. It didn't drain. Nor did the shower. We reached out to interhome and they have not done a damn thing. Actually said that it was normal to have bugs. Ya. Not bugs!!! Cockroaches. What about all the other crap we dealt with?? How nothing that was offered was there??? Interhome has terrible customer service!!!!! Do not use this service because they do not have the backs of their customers. All that matters is the money they are making. I strongly suggest anyone uses airbnb instead. And do not rent this place in Italy. We cleaned it for the next victims that end up in this craphole. But won't matter with all the other issues there. Shame on interhome!!!! Diane gwyn.

The experience was certainly memorable but for all the wrong things.
The property Les Hirondelles FR6639.270.1 requires a full deep clean, the cupboards containing crockery were dirty as were items of crockery on the shelves. Mugs were chipped and cracked and the general selection of odd mis-matched glasses looked like items from a jumble sale, also a kettle would have been useful.
All cupboards and wardrobes smelled of damp and also needed cleaning. Chairs and cushions were dirty and uncomfortable. The bedding provided at the property: blankets were not clean and one bed cover had blood stains, pillows were also old and well used, however the hired linen was clean and well maintained.
The WC leaked from the rear connection, and a notice asking for the lavatory to be flushed gently was a joke, as it leaked whatever one did.
We did ask the Interhome staff if anyone had checked the state of the house before we arrived and was told that "someone" had been into the property.... possibly they forgot their spectacles
I very much doubt that we will use the services of Interhome again or recommend this rental company to anyone else.

The area code of the Palamos office bears no relation to where the office is. Why not give the postal address of the office. it took a very long call to your head office to get the full address. The apartment we hired was advertised as having a pool. The pool was closed off the entire duration of our stay. Also the Wifi did not work. This caused great annoyance to some of our party.

We will NOT recommend Interhome at all!
We booked our Holiday through AirBnB, with Interhome as the host. Now - just a few weeks before our stay - Interhome has cancelled our reservation "due to an overbooking situation" (this isn’t possible when booking through AirBnB’s calendar system, so this means that Interhome has been renting the place out through other channels as well)! They also informed us that they couldn't find an alternative Holiday for us. So now we are six people stuck with our flight tickets and no help is provided. VERY BAD SERVICE!

This is the third time we have used Interhome in Spain.
Their response is always quick and polite with the staff in the office matching the online experience.
I would recommend them without reservation.

Having rented through Interhome last Easter, we are making a second booking for Christmas. The service we received was excellent and we were very happy with the accommodation. Staff are friendly and helpful.

First time I have dealt with them, and telephoned them for some extra information about a property, which they were very informative about. Once clarified I booked through their website, which was quick and easy and had an immediate email conformation. So far all good, and property a really good price too.
