I ordered $135 worth of groceries from Aldi's through instacart I opted for free delivery place my order and paid for it then I was told there were no delivery dates available so I tried to change the delivery to store pickup which was impossible I cannot get my money back I don't know when I will get my groceries delivered there is no phone customer service and I cannot get any answers off the website

The supermarket prices on the Instacart page do NOT reflect what the store is actually charging them. I ended up paying $12 more for my items than actually reflected on the store receipt, and that doesn't include their delivery fee.

This happened to us with Instacart and our Costco order - delivery promised yesterday, message received advising order had been delivered, credit card charged yet nothing has been delivered. I've texted, phoned, even direct messaged on Twitter and all we've received are automated responses from Instacart advising that they're very busy these days. I'll be stopping payment on my credit card and never using Instacart again.

They delivered the wrong order and some missing online charge is twice the actual items that i received. I had to insist that the delivery person would give me a receipt.

If I could give zero stars I would. Insta cart does not even deserve 1 star. I have a charge on my card for 225.00 and 42.00 and no groceries. The driver delivered all my groceries to a red house with a white fence. I have a tan house with no fence at all and my number on my mail box. The app said delivered we said we have not received any groceries. She sent us her number and when we called her. That's when we found out she delivered to a red house. My husband found a red house with a white fence and the lady said she had no groceries. I spent over 5 hours on hold and sent two complaints online and got an email back that they would get back with me. That was yesterday and I've heard nothing back and still have no groceries delivered or charges taken off my card. The driver was not trained on what to do when she delivers to the wrong house and had no way to contact anyone at insta cart to let them know of the error. I've never had a driver deliver to the wrong house before so I've never had to deal with their customer service. After this incident I will never use them again and I will highly suggest against anyone using them

My first order was delivered on time with only one mistake. The receipt that was emailed to me was for one amount. When I checked my credit card statement there was an additional charge. I tried calling them, the wait time was anywhere from two to five hours. I had no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card company. I had a pending order for delivery on this past Saturday. Insta cart cancelled the order. I am a senior citizen with medical issues and was not able to get my food. A friend had to go food shopping for me and put himself in harm's way. I have been corresponding with Insta cart and they have not reinstated my account even though I removed the dispute.

Constant contact throughout their shopping progress. Great communication on items not available or substituted for. An absolutely necessary service for us elderly shoppers. Our driver, Boun, was very courteous and helpful. This is our third time using Instacart and the service gets better every time!

I wish I could give Instacart zero star.
What Instacart did, in my case, was picked up $38.65's worth of groceries from H Mart (Delivery person inadvertently left his/her H Mart receipt with my groceries) and marked them up between 12% and 151%, and charged me $72.85 plus fees. This amounts to an overall mark-up of 88.5% plus fees!!! This is a major ripoff!!!
Patronize them if you don't mind getting ripped off.

After about 50 tries i finally got an order in. The shopper delivered the order and i failed to unpack and check the items a big error. The shopper bought two frozen dinners i didn't order. I can't return the Wrong food, because the shopper fails to deliver the store receipt. I received a prompt refund, but had to deal with two poor TV diners. To save another trip to the store, I placed a 2nd order the next week. It took three days to get a shopper. This woman marked my milk found and I can only assume it was purchased. But it was not in my bags so it must have ended up in her car trunk. I marked no substitutions on the other items and there weren't any. I also had to guide the woman to my condo building since she got lost. Instacart refunded the items not found, but not the milk. There were two charges pending on my credit card which I'll have to monitor, another problem to deal with. My feedback to them was not kind. No one answers phone calls. So beware, "you pays your money and you takes your chances".

My first 2 shoppers were ladies and they did a great job. The last 2 were men and they couldn't find what I wanted even when I knew the items were there. I had just seen the items in the store myself. I just feel like I'm wasting my yearly fee because I have to go to the store myself. Also I had put in specific directions on how to get into my building and the shoppers say they can't see those directions. The system needs work. Not happy

Order was placed at noon. I received a text that the shopper started my list. She kept me informed of any necessary changes and out of stock items. She arrived at the house about 3pm , unloaded the goods, checked my license because of the wine and was on her way. Very friendly, the whole process was was uneventful and stress free.

I placed a stop payment on my account and then re-ordered my items from Costco. Waited a week for the delivery; then at 2:30AM the day of the re-order delivery (today March 27th 2020) they cancel my order sighting unusual activity on my account. Costco you need to fire Instacart.

THE CONCIERGE MADE THE FIRST ORDER FOR ME THAT WAS TO BE DELIVERED THURSDAY MORNING AND THE ORDER FINALLY CAME SATURDAY AFTERNOON. OF WHAT I ORDERED MOST ITEMS HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH DIFFERENT ITEMS OF DIFFERENT BRANDS , AND I WAS CHARGED FOR ITEMS NOT DELIVERED TO ME . WHEN I CALLED THE STORE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE , THEY KINDLY CHECKED AND INFORMED ME THAT ALL ITEMS HAD BEEN AVAILABLE BY BRAND AND COST IN THEIR AD FOR THAT WEEK THAT HAD NOT CHANGED .DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STORE PRICES AND INSTACART PRICES I WAS CHARGED WITH DELIVERY FEE . Takes order, small chance you will get what you ordered. Even if you order multiple items and get only one or two, they still charge delivery fee and tip. Last order cost me twice the listed prices, which are inflated, with no recourse. If you want extra aggravation in these tough times, just use Instatcart.

I am having trouble with shoppers using a smaller, small town Price Chopper,rather than shopping at the store near my house. The selection is poor,and I am never aware until most of my items are either not available,or subsituted. I realize with the Cova 19 out there,its now harder to get everything on my list. But my local store is still stocked much better than the one 15 min away. ALSO, shoppers will pick up my order, mark them as being shopped,but 5 hrs or more later, someone else finally starts my shopping. BAD Communication.

When you rely on a service during difficult times, it's disheartening that there are employees that ONE try to rip you off and TWO - you can't get ahold of ANYONE in the company to help you! So do you just let you employees get away with this because you're too busy and "experiencing a high volume of chatter"... My shopper took 3 hours to shop for my groceries, got lost to my home and there were 2 items (totaling $10) missing from my purchased items. Sadly I didn't realize this until a few days later when I wondered...where did that broccoli and hamburger buns go? OH I NEVER RECIEVED IT! But it shows here that i Paid for these items. I've tried to get ahold of someone anyone at instacart to no avail. HORRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER use this company again. I'd rather go out in a hazmat suit and risk getting covid than use them again.

I signed up for the free trial it give it a try since I work full time, have a toddler, and a baby on the way. I decided that it wasn't for me because the shoppers did not communicate with me at all about certain items that were not available, and gave alternatives that weren't comparable. I cancelled my subscription. To my great surprise they continue to charge me for the subscription even though I cancelled it. I even went to the Apple subscriptions list to make sure that it wasn't still in there and it wasn't. I tried to see if there was something on the app stating that I still had the subscription. My profile showed that my card information was not saved to my account, yet I had been charged for 5 months after I unsubscribed. I had to call them to see what was going on. They stated that there was an auto-renewal after you cancel your subscription that you have to turn off to not get charged monthly...NOWHERE DOES IT STATE THIS OR GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO TURN THIS OFF! They only refunded the last month so I have to dispute the other months that they unlawfully charged me with my bank. I would recommend for every person considering this app to steer clear. Try amazon instead. There's definitely more accountability and transparency there.

We received an order tonight. We are missing quite a few items and was overcharged ..I don't know if it is the shopper or the app. I am disputing the charge with American Express as there is no way to contact instacart. The shopper texted me and kept the communication going but the wrong items and missing items aren't acceptable . This was my first experience with instacart. A royal pain to straighten out the charges.

I ordered and paid for groceries to be delivered. I have kids and we were low on food. 5 DAYS LATER they cancelled the order. I was on hold for over 3 hours for them to tell me there is nothing they can do. no reason for cancelling. no groceries delivered. they can not keep up with their orders so do yourself a favor and order from Shipt.

There was no problem entering my order; however, it has been 2 days and no sign of order. I ordered through bjs, but only select items are available for order. called instacart customer service and was told my wait time was more than 109 minutes. Not worth the effort. Also, they are a third party provider. No relation to bjs
