I would say 99% of visitor insurance plans are complete trash- literally work the paper theyre printed on. I've used several companies based in the US and India and most of them give such a headache to pay claims. INF is not like the other providers, they really do go above and beyong to make sure you are made whole.
For me, my dad went to er and we got a bill which was $60,452.23. I got a fixed benefit plan, so it only paid out a small amount, like $12,000 or something. Their manager, prakash, helped me negotiate the remaining balance to where i paid only like 25% of the total bill.
I am not one to write long reviews... especially about something like visitor insurance... but these guys go above and beyond for their clents.

Got this plan recommended from my uncle, I have inclined towards it after talking with customer service and decided to take a plan. Overall it is the best visitor insurance for parents who are visiting from India.

I would recommend anyone looking for something that resembles a real insurance to enroll in the INF Elite plan. My mom had an episode of syncope and was in the hospital for 2 days. We got a bill of almost $60,000. I am thankful for INF, they covered 2/3 of the cost. For the remainder, they helped me negotiate the bill to 23 cents on the dollar. Ive never encountered a company that really care like them.

I had a good experience with the elite plan for my parents. my dad caught pneumonia and was in hospital for like 8 days, Then he needed a nurse to help him at home because i dont know how to do those kinds of things... it was covered by the plan and painless claims. Very easy experience.

I got INF for the first time after going with other plans before. They dont use acute onset definition- which is good for me because acute onset is so grey you can exclude anything disease from it. I enrolled for the premier plan- i think is best value for 66 year old visitor.

Im a Canadian expat living in Abu Dhabi, and I wanted to visit my son for his college graduation. I was scared of ruining the occasion if something happened to me since I had a heart attack a few years back. I called and spoke to one their reps named Prakash- he's an energetic, young sounding fellow who really knows his stuff and is passionate about helping people. He advised me to go with INF Advantage plan because it covers ant cat strophic event well. I recommend INF for the peace of mind it provides.

Spoke with Greg, and he was very helpful on educating me on all the options. What was great, was that he helped pin point the best plan for me and my family in a short amount of time.

I travel from Alberta down to Scottsdale, Arizona every Fall. I had a back surgery this past July and my current travel insruance plan excluded me from any travel coverage! And more than that- I found my provincial insurance does not pay anywhere close to what I would need if i got sick. I was recommended to enroll in the Elite plan because it would cover any complication to my back. I did need to file a claim a few weeks back and it was processed with no complications. Overall, I would say they met my needs.

I chose the Advantage plan over atlas america since although INF Advantage is acute onset, they still dont have as many exclusions as there are in atlas or any of the other plans. At the end of the day, you need peace of mind, which is something i got with the INF advantage plan.

I have a great experience with INF. I went with the INF Elite for my mom, a plan that they said covered all pre-existing conditions. It worked well in my favor- she has a history of heart issues and experienced a heart areythmia and atrial fibriliation- so I took her to the urgent where they ordered several scans and blood tests. Elite covered me for the whole issues, I typically don't buy insurance but I am thankful I did this time.

I would recommend anyone getting a visitor plan to tkae a look at the elite coverage. I enrolled my dad after he had a triple bypass surgery- just to be on safe side. Luckily i had the full pre-ex coverage so when he had chest tightness it was covered. These are expensive plans, relatvie to obamacare it's a steal!

Good product, but sometimes tough to get in contact with staff. I enrolled in the INF Premier plan for my mom since she has some thyroid issues. However, I suppose i needed the accident cover. Mom burned herself cooking dinner for us, and I had to take her to emergency room. Since it was holiday weekend, I had trouble getting in touch with anyone at the office. Its was OK though- bills were submitted and paid, and they did call me on the day they were opened. Overall, the insurance did what it was supposed to so i guess i am happy.

I had great experience with INF. Theyre staff is responsive- and I even can text their reps if i have any questions. I enrolled in the INF Premier plan for my mom and dad, who are both in their 70s. I was able to get 10% off through my employer as well- which saved me around $80. Plans are expensive but worth it i would say.

I have bought visitor health insurance several times from INF Visitor Health Insurance for my in-laws and parents whenever they visit the USA. During the years, I have reported few claims and all of them have been satisfactorily settled. I regret taking fixed plans (such as INF Premier) than the INF Elite. I know many of us think of cheaper health insurance and feel proud in getting the cheapest plan. But you do not know is that health insurance is something you can not cheap out. What you pay is exactly what to get. If you are buying acute onset pre-ex condition plans, you get next to zero as almost all claims are denied under that. If you need pre-ex conditions covered properly, you need INF Elite plan (comprehensive 80/20 plan) or at least INF Premier Plan. Any plan other than these two may not help you when you need for pre-existing related sickness.INF Plans offers excellent program and it is cheap for the coverage it accords. I highly recommends INF Visitor Coverage for anyone's parents or in-laws visiting the USA.

No plan in India would cover any compliacations for my dad's bypass surgery. INF was the only plan out there that gave me the peace of mind knowing he is covered in case anything happens.

Last time used a different company, I'd rather not even give them any sort of recognition, but received 0 for a past claim. Was unsure what to do for this last trip, and a friend recommended to me INF. It was a home run from hello, and I'm very happy to have given my business with them.

Thank for INF Advantage plan. My mom was visit and had a knee replacement 3 years ago and no problems since then. After she came to the states, she had knee issues come up again, and an MRI found there was a tear in the anterior ligament cause by the travel. Advantage covered everything since it was considered a new sickness. Great product, and claims were very easy. Did not have to pay and file for reimbursement.

I was looking for coverage for me and my wife for our visit to Sarasota this October, and came across INF. I called an spoke to a gentleman named Greg, who advised me to go with the INF Elite due to my kidney issues. They're the only plan that cover these kinds of issues- which gives me a lot of peace of mind.

I choose INF Standard plan for my mom who is 92 years old. During her visit she had a fall and fractured her ankle. I called INF who helped me through the whole process, from going to the emergency room to filing claims, to helping arrange follow up visits. In total i only paid $1,200 out of my $14,000 bill.
You can't find insurance for ages 90+ anywhere else but INF, and I am happy for that.

I found INF through a referral on a webforum at work with many people who had a good experience. Their plans are on the pricey side- but they deliver when you need it. I found the Elite plan covered well when my mom has a disgestive issue which required hypertensive surgery. Overall: Pros are easy claims experience and good coverage, Cons: It's a bit on the pricier side :)

I had a bad experience with INF visitor care.
I bought the insurance for my parents. I was told that I will refund of 10% of corporate discount. I still have not received any. I tried emailing them multiple time no response. I contacted them, they created ticket on behalf of me but never provided any update.

My wife and I travel to Florida every year to stay in Naples. After hearing some horror stories- we decided to invest in a insurance policy for our US travel. since our provincial (we're from Canada), insurance does not cover anything meaningful. I was very thankful i got INF because my wife has appendicitis during our stay- they bill was close to $60,000 and INF took care of us. I've recommended INF to fellow snow birds such as myself.

Great experience with INF Advantage. My mom was visiting from china and had a prior bypass surgery. After a few weeks she was fine, but then suddenly got chest tightness. I took her to el camino hospital and they accepted the insurance and billed INF directly. V easy claims process, took care of my mom well.
