We are too small a business to stock every screen out there so we needed a supplier that we could depend on for a quality product and fast shipping. IFixit has proven itself over and over on both counts. We don't even bother looking anywhere else because we know we will get a great product at a good price faster than anyone else will get it to us. Kudos!

I bought a replacement screen for my cell phone and within a month the screen was discoloring and the phone was unusable. I emailed support to get the screen replaced and was told that my phone was damage and the screen was not working because of the damage. I sent several very clear pictures of my phone to them showing that the phone was not damaged with little response from iFixit. I also called them with little help. This is how iFixit gets out of their commitment to a lifetime warranty of a cellular screen replacement. This is an original email sent to me, read below.

"Thank you for your patience. Based on the picture, it looks like the display has suffered some physical damage, likely during installation.Physical damage that occurs during or after a repair is not covered under the Lifetime Warranty for this part.

On that note, I’d like to make a one-time exception for you, as we do want you to have a successful repair experience as well as a completely functional device. While our warranty doesn’t cover it, we can provide a coupon for half-off of the purchase of a replacement screen, if you’d like to give your repairs another shot through iFixit.

For your reference, the indications of vertical and horizontal lines as well as block blobs are a good visual representation of a damaged LCD. This is typically due to pressure, all the way down to the LCD, causing the liquid crystals to spread freely under the glass. Normally, unless the Digitizer layer is also damaged, the touch input will function fine, but the pixels that would otherwise be rendered will be covered by those liquid crystals from the damaged LCD.

Parts came faster than expected, the screen quality was no different than the original. The guides offered a smooth and easy experience for dismantling my phone which is rated very difficult (galaxy s8+). finished it with out many problems. will definitely be using them again in the future.

Kit looks great lots of tools I will surely use maybe a couple I actually won't but have them just in case. good quick shipping came packaged and protected well. Plus love the way the case is and works.

Produce came on time and had all the tools necessary for my difficult repair (removing mother board and un-gluing battery on MacBook Pro). You guys saved me about $400 doing the repair myself and I couldn’t be happier.

I ordered iPhone 6s plus display assembly with 3D touch and tools required to fix it. I feel that the assembly is overpriced compared to some other panels available in the market. The repair went well on my side and I double checked all the connections. However, the 3D touch feature does not work as well as it used to with the genuine display assembly. 3D touch is getting triggered even if I normally touch the display and it doesn't work sometimes when I force touch very hard.

This latest purchase of an iPhone battery for a 5 is last of a long list of repair products and tools I've purchased from this vendor.
They're simply terrific; rate the degree of difficulty of repair and their video's are invaluable.
Simply one stop shopping for parts, accessories, insight/information to perform the desired repair.
Wouldn't go anywhere else for iPhone repair/replacement parts, service and education.

I got a new screen for my iPhone and followed the instructions provided on the website. The whole job took about 30 minutes and was very simple. Upon completion the screen worked as expected and the new screen even came with a new earpiece speaker, which was great because my old one had water damage and I had to use speaker phone. The tool kit was high quality compared to Amazon toolkit. My only complaint was that it took 7 days to get my order.

I ordered two Chromebook batteries within a week of each other. Both came on time and perfect condition. Both of the batteries charged and have held their charge still the install.

The replacement battery arrived in two days, much quicker then expected. I would not hesitate purchasing product from ifixit, they are first rate.

They have excellent repair guides that we use regularly, however ordering from them and their customer service are lacking. For instance, in an email, we were told that a shipment of cables would be sent out the following day and yet 5 days later the website shows that they have not even processed the order yet. Also, they just don't return phone calls nor answer emails.

Customer service helped me pick the correct battery for my Mac Book Pro 15 inch. Battery arrived with the correct tools to remove and replace. Went online to watch the video and all went perfectly. Great job for ifixit.com

Worked out great so far. Only scary part was reattaching the various connectors as I have broken one of those on a laptop once.

I bought a front camera for my Samsung S8 and it was defective. Unfortunately I had already trashed the receipt so I cant return but when the tech tried to install it an error message kept coming up saying the part could not be recognized

I'm a DIY kind of guy, and I love the detailed guides and intent behind iFixit. Bravo and thank you for your service!

The new screen would not turn off when I pick up a phone and held iPhone to my ear.

Screen arrived on time, it was pretty close to an original iPhone screen. Install was fairly simple with their website guides. Wasn’t sure if I could trust the website at first, but they came through with the correct item.

Replaced battery and re-sealed the watch face back to the body. As the instructions stated it was difficult and took three attempts but it worked and saved me a fortune. Back in business with my apple watch and ifixit had all the tools in one kit.
