Unbelievable. The worst experience I've ever had working with any retailer. I clicked on a Google Ad for an entire Fix Kit for my Macbook Pro battery, I was then brought to a page and purchased the product on the page.
When I received the product it was missing the fix kit portion and only came with the battery. I then realized I ordered the battery only and not with the fix kit. Silly mistake on my part, since I saw the original picture on the advertisement was correct, but the product that was on the page apparently wasn't.
Instead of sending me just the fix kit portion for an extra fee, they told me I would have to send the battery back out of pocket, then re-purchase the battery with kit. Simply because they don't have a SKU/product ID of just the fix kit.
What a crappy experience. Will never shop here again nor would I ever recommend them. I feel like I was bait & switched.
Why would you not be able to send me the kit!? So stupid.
You can find the same batteries online for cheaper anyway. Dumb mistake, but they were unable to retain a customer for future purchases.

Great and fast service, thank you! The guides were super helpful and easy to follow, we timed it badly and the one for Catalina wasn't out yet and we had to fill in the gaps, but it wasn't difficult at all. I've never replaced a part on my own computer before and the tools included plus the guides made it way easier than I'd ever imagined.

Apparently my wife and I live under a rock and had no clue about Apples battery problems and their replacement program for the 6s. So finally I got around to doing something and after reading the reviews I purchased two IPhone 6S kits from IFixit. I will say I usually have no problem tackling diy repairs but taking apart our phones made me nervous. Of course I started with my phone just in case. Following the directions I would say it took me about 90 mins. It went well so I did my wife’s phone next, only took me 30 mins. Overall not difficult but a little nerve wrecking at first. I waited about week before I did this review so we had time to test the batteries. We are 100% impressed with them and no joke they are much better then the original batteries. We can go all day now without having to charge the phone or have it randomly die. If your looking for a new battery try IFixit first.

I ordered the Pro Tech Toolkit, the Manta Driver Kit, and the Magnetic Project Mat. The 4mm and 1/4" Aluminum Precision Bit Drivers are absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship is fantastic and each and every bit i've used have slid in buttery smooth just like the rotating head on each. I would recommend these products to anybody wanting to always have the perfectly sized bit for any job. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and can't wait to find my next project. Everybody should look to iFixit for their repair / tinkering needs.
note - Originally purchased to ultimately have an amazing set of tools to fix just about anything. First project was tearing down my 2016 MacBook Pro 13" touch-bar, and it kept the entire process organized and made it so much easier.

Many repair guides and lots of parts. I always go to ifixit when I encounter a new device. They have great videos and great photos. Their photos are very good for diagnosing other issues than just broken screens. I really like the step by step instructions with multiple angle photos.

Replaced a battery on my iPhone 6 2 months ago and this thing hardly goes 3 hours of the day without dieing. It will also shut my phone off at around 15% battery without using the ramping battery, very disappointed.

I received my replacement battery kit as promised through the tracking number that I received via email. I would advise you to have masking tape where you can attach those microscopic screws!!! LOL! It was first time and it took me hours because I was being very delicate and careful not to break any of the ribbons. I then decided to watch the YouTube tutorials and I now think that I can do it more easily after that first install. I lost one of the teeny tiny screws from that 5 screw plate over the ribbons but four seem to secure it tightly. I definitely recommend iFixit to anyone who cannot afford to pay a pro like in my situation because I had to keep my Iphone connected to my portable charger in order for it to operate.
Oh!! And I now have a fully charged operational Iphone6!!! Saved myself anywhere from 300 to 600 usd dollars on having to buy a refurbished or new older Iphone model. My cost was 30.00 usd bucks!!! All smiles over here!!! And I am not a techy person!!!!
And Apple needs to stop their monopoly! They purposely program their products to slow down or malfunction after the 2 year mark!

So I got a iPhone 6+'s battery fixed from its' previous 73% max capacity. iFixit did fix it, however it made these vertical lines that click whatever they touch on the display. Also, it made some of the keys on the keyboard stop working for whatever reason.

Nice, fairly priced repair kit for my Macbook Pro battery. The repair took a long time (3+ hours) and was quite complex, but the guide provided was very good. The kit was a little short on driver bits - lucky for me, I have a full set at home.

Unfortunately, I used a YouTube video, that wasn't detailed enough to replace the battery on an iPhone SE. As a result I screwed up a cable to the touch screen and had the 4 different length screws mixed up.
I then happened upon the ifixit.com site and the wonderfully detailed instructions complete with end-user comments blew me away!
Also, the quality of the replacement touch screen was great as were the instructions! I am now a believer in ifixit.com and highly recommend it. Wish I had happened upon this site
first.

Ordered the iPhone battery replacement kit. Impressed of how easy it was following the instructions. NOTE: I used a hair dryer for 2 minutes to help remove screen. All the tools included were excellent and for a first time repairing an iPhone, I will rely on if it.com for future needs.

I purchased all the necessary tools to take apart my 21.5” iMac so I could replace the 1TB hard drive with a 2TB solid state drive and replace the 8GB of ram with 32GB. I followed the directions online and even read some of the comments. That helped me to see I could replace the ram without removing the power supply or the main board. It was delicate tight worked but saved me lots of time. My iMac went from booting up in minutes to 15 seconds from power button press to login screen. Now when I open an app the screen just pops up instead of the icon bouncing for quite awhile until it finally decided to load. I am actually shocked that in this day and age Apple is still putting 5400 rpm HDD in their computers. I bought the least expensive iMac I could last year and figured I could upgrade it cheaper then getting a more expensive one. Thanks to the tools and display tape from iFixit that is now a reality. My father in law and I had a blast upgrading it together. I had so much fun I am thinking of buying broken ones to fix and resale. In any event thanks for the parts and tools. You have made one happy customer.

Superb after service. Bought their Pro Tech Toolkit almost two and a half years ago, recently a rivet or pin in the knife failed so it won't hold together anymore. Emailed their support and they replied almost immediately offering a free replacement. Top notch!

With adhesive remover and plastic cards, along with some force and the battery glue came undone. After cleaning the case, the new battery fit in perfectly. System information reports 6499 mAh full charge capacity.
Great kit! Has all the tools you need and more!

I ordered a new phone battery two weeks ago and it still hasn't come yet. So here I am with a dead phone and unable to repair it. They should be more transparent about the actual shipping time if it is going to take more than two weeks to ship me an item so I know to go somewhere else to begin with. They mentioned at checkout that when I receive two day shipping, it may take longer for some batteries. I was told it would be two weeks longer for mine. I contacted customer service and they offered a refund or to ship a new one, however as a customer I should have been aware at the beginning of the purchase that I would be still waiting after two weeks with tracking information that says it left Wisconsin one week ago and is currently just "in transit" with no information as to where it actually is. It may be ifixit's fault or it may not, but I should know at the time of purchase.

I was excited to use the iFixit microwaveable iOpener. It looked so cool and easy to use. Unfortunately after trying for a solid hour to use the iOpener as the heating tool I ended up with a brick instead of a phone with a new battery. The iOpener does not work! Use it and you'll destroy your phone. Just stick to a hairdryer or heat gun.
