Unbelievable. The worst experience I've ever had working with any retailer. I clicked on a Google Ad for an entire Fix Kit for my Macbook Pro battery, I was then brought to a page and purchased the product on the page.
When I received the product it was missing the fix kit portion and only came with the battery. I then realized I ordered the battery only and not with the fix kit. Silly mistake on my part, since I saw the original picture on the advertisement was correct, but the product that was on the page apparently wasn't.
Instead of sending me just the fix kit portion for an extra fee, they told me I would have to send the battery back out of pocket, then re-purchase the battery with kit. Simply because they don't have a SKU/product ID of just the fix kit.
What a crappy experience. Will never shop here again nor would I ever recommend them. I feel like I was bait & switched.
Why would you not be able to send me the kit!? So stupid.
You can find the same batteries online for cheaper anyway. Dumb mistake, but they were unable to retain a customer for future purchases.

I ordered the Pro Tech Toolkit, the Manta Driver Kit, and the Magnetic Project Mat. The 4mm and 1/4" Aluminum Precision Bit Drivers are absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship is fantastic and each and every bit i've used have slid in buttery smooth just like the rotating head on each. I would recommend these products to anybody wanting to always have the perfectly sized bit for any job. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and can't wait to find my next project. Everybody should look to iFixit for their repair / tinkering needs.
note - Originally purchased to ultimately have an amazing set of tools to fix just about anything. First project was tearing down my 2016 MacBook Pro 13" touch-bar, and it kept the entire process organized and made it so much easier.

Many repair guides and lots of parts. I always go to ifixit when I encounter a new device. They have great videos and great photos. Their photos are very good for diagnosing other issues than just broken screens. I really like the step by step instructions with multiple angle photos.

Bought a battery for my mac book pro lasted just one year, they replaced it but said that the replacement battery is not warrantied. It lasted 7 months and they said they will give a %50 discount for new battery. BS folks. Some say their batteries they sell for $109 are the same from amazon for $30, I don't feel like having to buy a new battery every 7 months. They are junk and they know they have issues with them but continue to sell them without warranties. Buyer beware.

Great and fast service, thank you! The guides were super helpful and easy to follow, we timed it badly and the one for Catalina wasn't out yet and we had to fill in the gaps, but it wasn't difficult at all. I've never replaced a part on my own computer before and the tools included plus the guides made it way easier than I'd ever imagined.

For a long time, I was satisfied with their products and their service.
Recently, I ordered for a customer. I had to receive this order under 48H.
Almost a week later, I still have nothing!
What can happen.
Especially since it is at the level of DHL that this poses a problem. One shot my package goes on tour to be delivered a blow it returns to the DHL sorting center.
In short, thinking iFixt serious, I thought something would be done from them. Like returning an order and / or a commercial gesture.
But apart from asking me to wait and apologize ..... nothing.
Cherry on the cake after taking time to contact DHL and holdings aware, which is a shame, iFixit should have done these steps, iFixit does not answer me anymore!
In short after several years to order parts, it's over for me.
Already on my last battery order for macbook pro I had a problem .... it should have alerted me, considering the way they had handled the problem.

Replaced a battery on my iPhone 6 2 months ago and this thing hardly goes 3 hours of the day without dieing. It will also shut my phone off at around 15% battery without using the ramping battery, very disappointed.

Awful shipping experience and terrible customer service. After ordering a battery for my phone I found out they would be shipping using fedex ground. Everything seemed to be tracking fine (five days for 1,500 miles) until delivery was attempted (I have never had a problem having anything delivered). FedEx then decided that I did not exist (that was a quote from their customer service). Battery was then returned to I fix it. I asked for a resolution from I fix it and they said to immediately order a second battery with exactly the same incompetent fedex shipping and hope for a different result. Oh and they stated that I could also wait 3-5 days for them to repackage the original package and then they could refund the price and issue a coupon for shipping! Never again. The definition of stupidity has always been to do the same thing and expect a different result

Apparently my wife and I live under a rock and had no clue about Apples battery problems and their replacement program for the 6s. So finally I got around to doing something and after reading the reviews I purchased two IPhone 6S kits from IFixit. I will say I usually have no problem tackling diy repairs but taking apart our phones made me nervous. Of course I started with my phone just in case. Following the directions I would say it took me about 90 mins. It went well so I did my wife’s phone next, only took me 30 mins. Overall not difficult but a little nerve wrecking at first. I waited about week before I did this review so we had time to test the batteries. We are 100% impressed with them and no joke they are much better then the original batteries. We can go all day now without having to charge the phone or have it randomly die. If your looking for a new battery try IFixit first.

Iphone 6 battery & screen replacement.
I'll start with the good points.
Great website, very easy to find what you want, delivery very quick, good packaging & instructions.
I began my repair and set about replacing my iphone 6 battery & screen. Followed the instructions and all was well until right at the end I realise that the new screen is missing one of the posts which the bottom screws fix in to. I messaged ifixit straight away to tell them. Below I have pasted the response from them. I have replied again but have so far not had any further reply. This is not acceptable from a company with a very good trust rating. Very dissapointing. At the moment I am using the phone minus this screw. It works but I shouldn't have to accept it for a new product.
I have received the order below.
Unfortunately it seems the screen
has been manufactured with a fault.
I will explain. The bottom two Pentalobe screws
tighten onto a corresponding fixing point on the
display, however one of these is missing from the
new display! I am so disappointed and only
realised during reassembly.
I will attach a photo so that you can see.
What should I do? This is very inconvenient
for me as I hoped to have the phone working
Thank you for your message and the purchase from our EU-Store.
Normally these taps are breaking if the screws are too much tightened.
Did you have the broken tap to send us a photo from it?

Perfect repair on iPod 6th Gen. Received it on the 11th day after sending it from Minneapolis for the repair to be back in my hot little hand. That interval included 4 weekend days, so the timeframe was 7 business days.

Bought a used C-stock screen for an S5 I plan to upgrade too. Despite being used it was a very good condition and the packaging was excellent. It perfectly kept the screen safe as it traversed the gauntlet known at the postal system. Had some difficulties getting the old screen off and this one to stay on, but I was using a hairdryer instead of the iOpener. I recommend buying that and those guitar pick looking things before doing this job since manufacturers can't be bothered to use gaskets and screws anymore. Also being that this was a used part the adhesive probably wasn't as strong as it was when new so that may have played a role, but either way, the phone case can help hold the screen in place so no big deal as far as I am concerned.
Overall I am happy with the results and will come here in the future for parts and tools. It was also a nice learning experience too in dealing with current phone construction practices like those adhesives. I was used to just swapping the motherboard to a new screen that was still attached to the front bezel. Couldn't do that with the S5 since they buried it on the screen side of the frame.
Hopefully the next time will be better, though I do plan to buy a new screen next time and hopefully have the iOpener by then so I can have the right amount of heat where I need it. I basically destroyed the old cracked screen trying to remove it, but hey, it all worked out in the end and I learned something new that prepare for future phones with sealed-in batteries. 👍

Ifixit sent me a faulty battery which I spent 5 hours installing online to find it was far worse than the one I took out.
They are now refusing to refund me the money unless I remove the faulty battery from the laptop. I don't want to waste another 5 hours disassembling and reassembling something, I am a busy person. I am tempted to invoice them for the 5 hours they have cost me with their faulty goods - it's far more than the price of the kit.
After reading around this is not uncommon since they changed to a cheaper supplier that doesn't have the same rigorous quality as other manufacturers.
Taking computers to pieces is not really a hobby for me, I am trying to do my bit for sustainability by repairing. Ifixit have a responsibility to source quality products, failing that pass the discount for cheap goods onto the consumer so at least you know what you're getting. Next time I will buy the battery from someone with better stock.
