I found an ad selling a corgi pup given the price of $750. The seller told me the pup was $800. Since, I wasn’t in their region, they said they had to deliver the puppy to me. PayPal wasn’t working as a method of payment ad I couldn’t transfer because of daily transaction limit. So, they said to send it through wire transfer (World Remit). After payment was accepted, the next morning I get two emails from [email protected] They were asking for $1200 for delivery insurance, but is reimbursed when I have received my puppy. Although, I was not informed of the shipment policies and only paid $600. They asked for payment from wire transfer as well. From World Remit (payment declined), Bitcoin (payment declined), Western Union (payment declined) and then Money gram (payment declined) and in-person Money gram (payment accepted). They provided me information to send the money to CAMEROON because rate fees are low (they generated multiple addresses and names from people in CAMEROON). I realized that I could not pay the rest due to insufficient funds. I told the “shipping company” that I am not able to pay the rest and they offered to keep the puppy at there station for as long as I want. And I decided not to let the puppy wait that and withdrew from my decision of getting the puppy. I let both the “shipment company” and seller” know about my issue and agreed to work things out for my refund. The next morning, they threatened me that I was going to be sued for pet abandonment because pet ownership is under my name, but there is no communication and proof of evidence that I have received from them to tell me that everything I needed for my “puppy” (emails from vet of ownership, papers of immunization etc.) was there for my assurance. There is no other information about this “shipping company”. And they stopped replying after the threat.
