I used an app through T-Mobile Tues Appreciation rewards.
Their webpage kept changing the dates on the reservation I wanted. I didn’t realize they had changed the dates yet again, until I read my receipt.
I just so happened to already be at the Hotel, and wanted to extend my stay, so I made the reservation while I was still there. I would had made them directly with the Hotel but they told me I had to go through the third party reservations.
I contacted them, and they sent back email, claiming the Hotel wouldn’t allow me to change it. That turned out to be a lie.
I went down to the desk and asked the Manager if he would allow it. He said no problem. The Manager asked me to phone them while I was there at the desk, so I did so. Their Representative got rude with me, when I explained I just spoke with the Manager, and explained he had not said he wasn’t willing, and that they had lied about the situation. While I was arguing with the Representative from the booking agency, he motioned for me to hand him the phone. I did, and they began to argue. The Manager said just cancel the reservation and he would charge me directly. The female Representative on the phone got very rude with the Manager, so he asked to speak with her Supervisor. She hung up!
I then paid the Manager of the Hotel directly and called my Credit Card Co to Dispute the Charges.
The ppl from the Hotel Booking Agency sent me several emails, saying they “Couldn’t Refund my fees. Then they tried to get me to agree to letting them returning my funds, if they could keep $75. I said no, they didn’t provide the service and therefore didn’t deserve the fees.
Right now everything is pending. But when I found this site, I sent them a copy of it, and told them that it would go a long way in proving my case. If they put those charges through, then I’ve paid twice for the same room for two nights.
I’m considering suing them. I went there for a few de-stressor days. My husband had previously passed away from a long illness, and I was exhausted. I had just finished dealing with the SSA Office and Veterans Affairs. Talk about stressful. Anyway, they sure ruined that rest.
If anybody wants to consider a class action against them, and can prove your case leave me a comment on here.

These people are total scam artists. They change the date of booking right before you purchase and then even worse than refusing to reimburse/modify the reservation - they drag you along telling you they “are waiting for manager approval” and ultimately tell you “the hotel manager has decided not to refund” which is untrue as I spoke to her myself and she said they will wave the fee. Avoid using them at all cost as they steal your time, money, and patience.

Total Fraud! Went to call with my CapitalOne rep, after being on immediate hold the person answered "Hello?" the promptly hung up when they heard it was the bank on the line. Can't believe they haven't been shutdown.

Never do business with HotelStorm - they are more interested in taking your money and running.
Here is the sequence of events:
1. I go to Hotel.com and do a search in my destination for my dates
2. I pick a Marriott room
3. I am prompted by Wikibuy that I can get the same room at something like 20% off
4. I click that link - which takes me to HotelStorm
5. What I failed to notice was that your site adopted different dates for the stay. Of course, why would the site offer the same room at a lower price for different days without making that much more explicit. And yes, I should have noticed this.
6. I proceeded to confirm the reservation
7. Upon confirmation, I immediately notice that the dates were wrong
8. I canceled immediately noting "wrong dates" as the rationale
9. I get an email acknowledging cancelation and am told to wait to learn about a refund
10. The next day I get another email stating that the Marriott won't refund.
Hotelstorm will never get my business.

Do not book through HotelStorm. They are a rip-off organization. Filled out a pop-up ad for a hotel room and the confirmation came back with the wrong date. Asked them to change it and they said they couldn't do it because I filled out the form. Give me a break. I called the hotel and they said they couldn't help because HotelStorm owned the reservation. BUYER BEWARE. They got me for $134 don't let them get you.

I had a Wikibuy popup for Hotel Storm and without reading any reviews I booked a one night stay. We had absolutely no problems with the reservation and/or charges. However, once I read all the negative reviews I constantly worried for the next three weeks that something was going to happen. The small savings was not worth all the worrying I was doing. I will save my sanity next time and use a more established booking site.

Apparently hotelstorm has changed its practices. This morning I booked for the wrong date. I called them immediately and the r said she’d look into changing to the right date. I waited a few hours, read this pace, got scared and called her back. She did change us to the correct date and gave us a hotel confirmation number. She was very helpful and I’m keeping fingers crossed that it all works out.

A follow up to my previous review. I reviewed their F-up a week ago. I had gotten nothing but push back on getting my money returned, let alone asking them to refund my money and pay for the room I had to then pay for. They cannot do that that of course but would I like to cancel the reservation to process a refund ??? NO, it was 5 days ago and it NEVER existed according to the hotel. After repeated emails I get this response. "The hotel is not very cooperative on reversing the charges made by mistake on our credit card, so for that reason we went ahead and refunded you in full for this reservation. We process the refunds immediately but your bank can take up to 5 business days to reflect that on your statement. WTH ? The hotel never had a reservation for me so why would they refund them money that was not paid ??? Waiting for my refund and filing a BBB (better business bureau) formal complaint

YUP - if ever HotelStorm pops up to offer you a discount - just RUNAWAY! Total ripoff. They charged me $183.00 for a room. When I got my statement from the motel, I found out that they paid the motel $106.00 for my room - that's what - 40% profit for them.

I would give this company no stars if I could. I've booked through Expedia, Priceline, Kayak, etc. I thought I would give this company a try since it was suggested through Wikibuy and I have been using that as an extension (which after this, I will reconsider).
Brenda Lee, Brian and the rest of the responses here are SPOT ON. I somehow "accidentally" booked the wrong date. It is my fault though, for not looking at it closer upon confirmation.
If you search for your booking dates on Google and then click to be directed onto their site. HotelStorm WILL CHANGE YOUR DATE. I, of course, made the mistake of not double-checking the date after I confirmed my payment. It wasn't until after the confirmation receipt I realized it was one day ahead of the day I originally wanted to book.
When you call them or even if you decide to cancel online through your account, they will:
A) tell you they called the hotel you booked and the hotel refused to cancel your reservation
B) tell you they can "try" to refund you but they will take $75 as a fee. This is not listed anywhere under their refund condition when they send you a confirmation.
I called the hotel that I was booking for and they said the third party company sends a "virtual credit card number" to the hotel. Therefore, the hotel company cannot cancel a reservation with this virtual card. In order to cancel it, I booked a reservation through the hotel directly and got pretty much the same rate and the hotel said they will cancel my other charge with HotelStorm.
As of right now, we're going to contact HotelStorm to get our money back for the second time. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company if need be.
Please and I reiterate as much as I can through this online review, please do not use this site. Save your money and find another reliable/trustworthy travel site or just simply book through the hotel itself.
It's not worth the hassle to save a little money.
Safe travels everyone.

The same happened to me as another reviewed...I was happy to find a discount for my stay...and went all the way through to clicking on the AMEX card when I realized that they had changed the dates of the stay...and I was booking for a time I did not need.
This is reason to. not only distrust The HotelStorm but Wikibuy.....never. again...

booked a hotel June 25, 2019 for August 9,2019. Arrived to check in, no such confirmation number, name or king bed rooms(entire hotel, queen beds). I dealt with the GM at the hotel, she assured me their confirm numbers start with a six. Mine had nothing. I was lucky enough she gave me a double queen room for even less than Honey travel. hotelstorm keeps emailing me back with no solutions. they act as if the reservation is still active and if I want to cancel. cancel what exactly, the reservation never existed besides the fact it was for August 9.

I booked a room at the Hotel Edison in NYC. When we got there the hotel had no record of our booking. I showed them my confirmation receipt but the manager said he was sorry but there was nothing in his computer. He suggested I call HotelStrom which I did. They took down all my information and within an hour the hotel had the confirmation and we got our room. After reading all the one star reviews I would consider myself lucky as I had a happy ending. I would not use them again.

Avoid this site at all possible costs!! I booked a room for one night with them for July 6, 2019 in St. Louis MO. I secured the room with a debit card and was immediately charged $138.39. I have never had a hotel make me pre-pay for a reservation only, and I thought it was odd, but went with it. When I checked out of the room, the hotel gave me a receipt stating the room charges were $109. I asked them about a refund of the difference and they stated HotelStorm would need to do that. I contacted them and was told "the hotel should not have provided you with a wholesaler receipt" and "we assure you that other guests who booked and stayed at the hotel at the same time as you paid the same or a similar rate." This is a direct quote from their email. They refuse to refund the difference to me. I confirmed with the hotel that the receipt they provided is indeed the rate for the room. I will be contacting the BBB and other groups. Please, do NOT use this site!

ALL for trying to save $13 .... THIS IS WHY I DON'T MAKE RESERVATIONS ONLINE !!!!!
I was booking a hotel through Hotels.com and I got a notification from wikibuy that they had found that hotel room for cheaper price. I followed the link and booked the room through Hotelstorm. When the confirmation came through it was for the wrong set of days. I immediately googled a number for HS to ask to change the reservation due to having the wrong date put in. I was informed that it was non-refundable. If I wanted to cancel there would be a $75 charge deducted from my refund.
I didn't want to cancel I just wanted to change the DATE.
I spoke with a " Sheri" and she stated they would need to contact the hotel to see if anything is available for the dates i needed and i had to wait a few hours for them to call the hotel. An hr later I contacted the hotel and spoke with the reservation lady and asked if there are rooms available for the date needed she said yes so then i asked has anyone from HOTEL STORM attempted to contact her she said NO .. so now I am livid and I was trying to do the right thing but this is just ridiculous.

Misleading room description led me to booking the incorrect room. multiple calls to customer service to confirm and clarify this were no help. First time I called to confirm I was getting a private bedroom with a living room, the agent could only confirm that I booked a family double room and ‘thought’ that it would have a private room. When I called Hilton directly to confirm, they could not confirm my reservation/identity since a different zip code and number was attached to my reservation.
Long story short- I tried to save $50, but will likely end up losing much more due to this inconvenience.
NOT WORTH IT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS THIRD PARTY. Their customer service agent told me that her communication with her supervisor was only in person and that they did not communicate through email or phone.
Interesting way to do business in 2019.

Beware! I was using Travigo to book a room and got a pop up say I could book the exact same room for a lower price, which was correct, but the HotelStorm site changed the dates to provide the lower price without letting the customer(me) know. I didn't notice the date change until I printed the confirmation and no chances are allowed. I was generous when I gave them one star, I would have given no star if possible.

They're crooks, I thought I was smart and wouldn't get fooled by them, but they swapped the price shown on the final payment page and I paid like a fool. Called them immediately and there was absolutely 100% nothing they could do, and was told that prices change all the time - apparently even when they're holding the deal for me to enter my card information. TAKE YOUR TIME if you're going to use them, and make sure you shop around. Better to just not use them at all though to be honest.

This company has shady business practices. The $$ values changed between me selecting a hotel and the purchase going through, and it was not made clear until I got the receipt. At which point they charge $75 USD to cancel the booking. What a joke. Absolutely would not recommend you use these people, there are far better services out there. Scam!
