Absolute disgusting behaviour. Cancelled hotel room, received email confirming refund however money has never been refunded. Advised 5-20 days now over a month. No one answers the phone and no response to emails. I have raised with the Competition and Market Authority (CMA) who investigate unfair business practices. In addition raised with UK Watchdog and ABTA and reported to the police for Fraud, the refund is now insignificant, the principle counts
Worth noting their parent company are Hotelbeds and the majority of their brands appear to to offer the same level of dire customer ethics

I need to move a reservation due to COVID-19. I called the hotel I booked, but they cannot change it because it says the room is booked through Hotel Beds Direct Connect. I have been googling and searching for contact information and can't find any. The numbers I call are only for partners in the company. I can't find an email confirmation, but know the room is booked because the hotel confirmed and I've been charged. I'm beyond frustrated and will NEVER book through this company again. I'll also let family and friends know not to use it as well. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I love how it wants me to put in a reference number with this review, but yet I was never sent the information.

The worst customer service i have ever experienced! There is no way to get ahold of anyone i had to call several different numbers and write about 12 dozen emails nd barely was able to get through to one person. I will not be letting this go. This company is based in Spain and they have no american information. Never ever EVER use Hotelbeds.

I cannot reach anyone at your company about a recent booking at a hotel. Please send me a phone number immediately. I have nothing to show my reservation and I need to change it. Please send me a contact point from the United States.

Hawaii extended its quarentine past when my trip was suppose to be, when tried to cancel the hotel said that my money was with Hotel Beds and that I had to get my money back from them. I tried to contact them, but just like all these reviews say, cant get ahold of anyone. No number, couldn't find any support what so ever. Scam thru and thru. Im disputing the charge with my bank now.

took our money and never answered back
Got a room through Priceline and the hotel who got our bid sold it’s company. But apparently hotel beds is the company that received our money so when we needed to cancel under the approved dates, hotel beds wouldn’t approve it. Their customer service was the worst I have ever seen and we never got our Money back even though it was originally approved.

The same as everyone else said. I booked a room through Hotel Beds and now that I have to cancel there is no where on their site to cancel. I give it a MINUS ONE!

After being stranded in Sydney airport due to a cyclone we contacted this business. They claimed they were at the Ibis Sydney, gave us a price and said we had to book over the phone. After 23 minutes of them getting everything wrong, we made our way, 2.5km, to the Ibis to be told there were no reservations. There were no confirmation emails to us and to this date, still aren't. When our bank account was charged, the amount they took was $544, not the $313 quoted. This company is an America based company that told us they were AT Ibis Sydney, quoted in $US without disclosing the fact and has refused to refund the difference. The only correspondence you can get is verbal over the phone as NO emails were ever sent to us, and the email address we were given for them fails to send. Ibis needs to discontinue this business as a legitimate partner due to them misrepresenting themselves and overcharging by huge percentages.

Ridiculous!
Went to cancel my reservation due to cornoravirus, and the hotel said they couldn't cancel it because it was booked though Hotelbeds. Phone number I found (407-345-4996) just rings and rings. There is no contact information on their website. I finally created a dispute on the charge with my credit card company to get my money back.

Terrible! Cant get a hold of anyone!!! Hard to find contact info. Phone number that's provided just keeps ringing, no answer. Finally, I got through to some prompts only to be on hold forever and never actually spoke with anyone. I did find an email address but who knows if it is legit. After reading these reviews I will never recommend this company. I did not book our girls trip and my friend who did was unaware of the horrible reviews. How is this company still in business!?!?!?!

Currently trying to cancel a hotel, Desert Rose, Las Vegas, NV.
Tried their recommended process (email) not response.
Called any phone numbers I could find on Confirmation info, hotel
website, etc., keep getting sent to the abyss....NO HELP.
Confirmation says I have till a certain date and time to cancel,
I think their plan is to wait you out, so they don't have to refund.

I would have given 0 star if that was an option. I wanted to cancel my reservation due to coronavirus crisis and because my flight had been cancelled to no avail. They just book you a room and after that you're on your own basically.

Nustay and HotelBeds.
i am also having the same issue.
I was simply checking rooms for Amsterdam and somehow a payment was taken via Nustay for the Park Plaza - don't know if my web browser remembered my details or its just a scam
Either way I was advised i simply need to contact the hotel to change my booking as i could still have it the next day. 3 people from the Park Plaza advised me this is fine and even email Nustay for me.
Then i was told Nystay did this booking via HotelBeds - i tried to call Hotel Beds who said i need to call Nustay and vice virsa.
Now i am being told Nustay are "trying" to "convince" Hotel Beds to change my reservation. To the point where even the hotel has advised me not to use either company again!
Both Nustay have no direct contact numbers and Nustay has one email and reply when bombarded.
So the customer and client are happy for the change of date, but the booking companies are blocking it.

My name is Tzvetan Tomitzin from Burgas, Bulgaria. I have reservation in hotel Hotel Agli Alboretti in Venice made by Booking with confirmation No250613922966060721 PIN Code 954607 – one double room for 4 night since February 24th till February 28th .
Due to escalation of the situation with coronavirus in Veneto region we cancel our trip so I want to cancel my reservation. I comtacted the hotel with request for compensation from the already payed full fee for the reservation but their advice was that I have to contact Hotelbeds. It is really very dificult to contact you. All my requests remain without any reply. I am really disappointed from your service.

WARNING: I am a receptionist at a hotel and a guest came in with a reservation via Hotelbed.com and I couldn’t check her in due to the virtual card hotelbed provided kept declining. Guest says that’s impossible bc she prepaid. There is no support line or customer service number to call for these problems. Do not book through these people or else you will have ur money stolen just like my guest.

No way to contact customer service when something goes wrong. Bad relationship with the hotel. Didnt disclose unusual cancellation rules.
