Hostminded were good until the end of my renting period, and except that they were expensive. They didn’t tell me anything about how and when I was going to get my keys. Even if I told them a few days in advance, the appartment wasn’t cleaned neither emptied from their sheets etc.
A few things had broken without them informing me about it, and at last they didn’t water my plants as I had asked them to.
Not happy with them, won’t use them again.

I’ve been using hostminded for several years now and it’s changed the way I travel. Whenever I go on a trip, they facilitate that my apartment is rented out on Airbnb or other such platforms and take care of the practicalities.
This means that I travel more and when I come back everything is spotless. Highly recommended!

Not all good - please mind when you book them they do not meet the guest personally to "vet" and greet them face to face - they use key drop boxes, despite this being one of their value adds (at least for me). The contract gives them optionality between meeting the guests in person or making a key available at a drop-off point, however, in reality, they have not met with one of my guests.
In addition, cleaning is not that good.

We tried them a few time - 50% of the times things went fine- 50% of the times cleaning was lacking or had not yet been carried out when we returned. Sadly we terminated our collaboration after an indecent where there was some damage and items missing from our apartment, and we did not feel that Hostminded handled the followup very well. We felt that we got met with an attitude of it being our own fault, and Hosminded seemed more concerned with servicing the guests, than with us the owners. Furthermore, special circumstances (that we had not been informed off) turned out to apply to using the included insurance. That particular renting ended us costing us money, and we no longer feel comfortable leaving our home in the care of Hostminded. Tip: be very specific and clear in your expectations to them, otherwise you might end up disappointed.

Hostminded made my life easier!
Soon after you start renting out on Airbnb, you will experience that you probably don't have enough towels and bed sheets. You probably won't have the extra energy to clean an entire apartment and if you have one guest after another, it will be very hard to handle it.
I was so happy to use Hostminded - now I don't need to wait around for delayed guests, or clean in a hurry.
If you are like me and have a full time job, i think it really pays off to hire Hostminded.
