Having ordered an item online in October 2016, it is now 5 months later and am still awaiting a refund. Contact has stopped from the company once I started to chase my refund, which they had agreed to (even that took some months), but has failed to arrive in my account.
I am now in the process of chasing the refund through the civil courts.
Don't be a mug, leave them well alone.

I would have given this company no stars if possible. My experience mirrors countless others. Order goods, then told there will be a 30 day delay. When nothing arrives you are then told there is a problem with the payment company and the order is being cancelled and a refund will be paid. Nothing arrives and the company then does not respond to any contact. Avoid.

what a waste of time !!! having placed an order and money been taken. had an email 3 weeks later saying due to high volume of orders my order will be delayed up to 30 days OMG then 2 weeks later was told that there was a problem with the payment and was going to get a refund which can take up to 10 days what an utter waste of time do not use should have read reviews before ordering!!!!!!!update!!!!!!! Just had them say that I wasn't a customer good job I kept all my emails does that mean I won't get my refund watch this space

Having googled for a contact phone number, I then discovered all the bad reviews, needless to say I hadn't done this first! I ordered on 15 Jan and I thought I had got lucky as my 2 x ladder bookcases arrived on time and on the day I specified. The problem was when I opened the boxes, one of them had been broken in transit, both the long front legs of one bookcase were snapped. I assume this was unavoidable in transit, so I emailed the 'support' address...twice and also used the contact form on their website...twice. After these 4 emails I received a response from Mark Bright asking me for the part numbers to send me replacements. Again no telephone contact number on the email either, so I emailed back on 07 Feb and have emailed many times since. Politely the last time I said I would have to ask them for a 50% refund. Guess what, no response and no replacement parts received, so I have to resort to trying to get 50% back from my payment provider
Real pain as the matching pair was the whole point for the room and the remainder of the room has been waiting unfinished in limbo in case they got back to me, which of course they haven't as at 13 March. More fool me for not researching the supplier, lesson learned for future, shame people can't run legitimate businesses and provide customers with what they promise.
Update: after much time on phone & in a Barclays branch it seems you cannot dispute an item which has been paid via online banking, so BEWARE without paypal or debit card you have no protection which is obviously why this company provides their bank details at point of order confirmation so that you pay them directly and have no comeback. At present going through Barclays fraud and Trading Standards due to no further correspondence received from Homewish.

As with so many others, I ordered an item on 15th December and still waiting for it to be delivered. No communication from Homewish to say when item will be delivered. Nada, zip. Fed up of waiting, and being ignored, I've requested that they cancel my order and issue a refund. That was on 30th December, and still no refund and no comms of any kind. If the company is in dire straits it shouldn't be operating and taking orders it cannot fulfil! Makes me sick to the stomach. Wish I'd read the reviews here and kicking myself for not doing so first, lesson learned.
*UPDATE - after requesting a refund it has now gone through and been applied to my account* I guess they are not so bad after all, at least they did come through on this. Shame about all the hassle, but could have gone a lot worse.* Thanks for issuing a refund in good time though Homewish, now added back a couple stars for you!*

I ordered a table 30th October. Money taken. Had an email after to say delay in shipment. until now no date to shipment just standard email.
I have asked for a refund but got another email to say 30 days for refund 30 Days passed and still no refund. . will be reporting them to my bank
At this stage no table and no refund. And many emails. With little communication from them. They have also denied to this review company (TrustPilot) that I am a customer. I had to send my invoice to prove i was
HOME WISH are denying many of their customers are customers. Nice try when the bank account shows they took out the money!

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I am in the same position as many others on here. ordered a bed 29th nov. received email a few days later stating the 30 day increase in delivery time due to a huge increase in orders. over 10 emails set all generic responses which have now stopped.
I have reported the fraud to my bank and will be reporting to trading standards after the new year bank holidays are over.

Wish I'd read these reviews first. Thank you everybody for advice I'm using my banks chargeback to recover my money.
I'm the same as everyone else, you order, they take the money, they email to say say they can't fulfil your order and say you'll have a refund that will never arrive. They will not respond to numerous emails and there is no contact number. I have my order number and all the emails, I see they've got the time to say we're not customers and try to take our reviews down but won't respond to our emails.
How much of our money has this company got for nothing? I'll be reporting them to trading standards, they must be stopped.

Placed order on 17th November they took the money out of my account on 21st . Then the problems start first you get email to say order has been put back 30 days . By the end of December still no order received so I emailed them only to be told there was a problem with the card processing company and the order was cancelled and I would get a full refund in 7 days. After 10 days still no refund so I emailed them again only to be told I had to go to my bank and raise a dispute . Not once did they apologise or contact me to explain what was happening to my order then to be told to raise dispute to get my money back is a joke all in all it has taken 4 months to sort out.
Do not use this company total waste of time . If I had read the reviews here first I wouldn't have even placed the order .

I am now going through Trading Standards with this company, item was ordered on the 1/11/16 and still not received it after offering next day delivery. All these reviews that Homewish have reported say the same so expect this one to be removed too. I have receipts and emails to prove.
Avoid this company like the plague !!
Also why is their website still allowed to be taking orders as they quite clearly don't fulfil them.
Update 19/1/17 - I have gone through my own bank to recover my costs, Barclays have been brilliant even though it was a debit card payment, I now have my money via bank chargeback. Ironically I had an email the day after I received my chargeback from Homewish stating I would receive a refund in 7 days...I'm still waiting.
I provided my proof of purchase to get this review back up, apparently I wasn't a known customer.
Again, do not order from this website, you will not receive your items as many say on here too.

I placed my order on 8th September 2016 and have still yet to receive this. The delivery was due within a few days but on 15th September
I received the following email....
Due to an exceptionally high volume of orders received over the past few days, your order may be processed a few of days later than expected. This means that delivery may take some extra time.
Your order will be processed by Thursday 06/10 at the latest. It is very likely to be processed prior to this date. Delivery will usually take place 1 - 2 days after processing.
Whilst waiting for this order I sent another couple of emails as I was started to get concerned considering the money had left my account within a day of ordering, but unfortunately only got automated returns. On the 7th October I received the following email...
Further to our previous email to you, your order seems to have been auto processed at the date given, but was subsequently dropped from our processing system, hence the non delivery.
We are sincerely sorry for this inconvenience, and your order will be reprocessed in the next few days.
The issue that caused this to happen has been fully resolved and your order has been recovered for processing.
Again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused.
As you can see I have waited over a month for this product and still no sign of it at all. There isn't even a phone number to call to discuss this issue.
Homewish - if you are reading these ratings please can you let me know when the product we be delivered. On delivery and safe receipt I will be more than happy to amend my rating. If you cannot provide the goods then can you please send me a refund.

Having ordered a Neptune triple sleeper from homewish on the 19th of September ( order 13991 ) on next day delivery the bed had still not arrived .
I received the same email that other customers have mentioned the day after placing the order .
Due to an exceptionally high volume of orders received over the past few days, your order may be processed a couple of days later than expected. This means that delivery may take an extra few days.
I have since emailed the company to be told the first time that the order had dropped from the system and would be processed immediately.
Still nothing . Subsequent emails where eventually replied to with no explanation as to what has happened but the company saying they can't give me a delivery date at the moment .
The bed is still on the company website showing available as next day delivery .
We recently moved home and have two children sleeping on mattresses while we wait for the bed to arrive .
There is no number to call the company and they disregard any request to call me .
DO NOT ORDER FRON THIS COMPANY . I order everything online and have NEVER experienced such dire service .
Have finally received a full refund

I have the same issue as many others. I ordered a table in August and am still waiting delivery. Initially received emails concerning order backlogs and poor quality goods being returned to the manufacturer. Now I cannot get a reply.

Ordered 2 shelve units Oct 25 16 recieved usual email confirming order.
Then a follow up stating long delays due to stock shortage. Bull. Have
like others cancelled and requested refund but not holding out much
hope. Feel stupid for not checking before ordering. Avoid at all costs.

I have ordered this sofa around 10 days ago, so I did not have to wait too long. I was notified by emails and texts about the progress which was 2-5 working days from last weekend. The sofa arrived in good state and within time slot given. Minuses: I received 2 texts today on 27/02 after 7am this morning that the sofa will arrive 4hrs later today and was given 3 hrs time slot, if this is not good timing I should contact them on... and there was no number. My partner was at home having day off so I did not need to reschedule. I think someone should call the customer to establish a good day and time slot for it not choosing for me. OK I was then waiting for the sofa. None called me when they turned up to say they deliver and my partner told me that they wanted him to take the sofa upstairs 1st floor where I live as they are very busy. Come on, totally not professional and will not buy again guys, sorry.
Now we have November and spring came off. I contacted them, no answer. Terrible.
Guys do not buy from there as they arent trading anymore from July!!!! I have just checked on directgov.

I ordered a table and chairs from them for two reasons, firstly they could deliver it this week, and it's needed for Christmas, secondly good price. How stupid was I, money was taken straight out of my account, and then 4 days later an e-mail stating delayed delivery 30 days or more, e-mailed them straight back cancelling the order and asking for my money to be return and they have just completely ignore all 10 of my e-mail. I have contacted my bank and also today I have contacted the fraud police, as enough is enough I'm a widow and cannot afford to be scammed out of my money. My biggest regret apart from the obvious ordering from this so called Company, is that I wish that I had seen all your comments regarding them. Wishing you all as well as myself good luck in either getting your goods or the return of your payments.
I don't believe it I have been trying to get an answer from them for 6 days constantly e-mailing them and no replies. I put this on and I get an e-mail stating that my order has been cancelled and that I should receive my money back on cancellation, so fingers crossed but I won't hold my breath who knows maybe my money might be in my bank tomorrow, because we all know you can do instant payments from on line banking!! I will keep you all informed.
Also on there page it says that secured payment with Sagepay, well there not even a customer so Sagepay told me and haven't been since summer 2015!!!!
BIG thank you to Trustpilot for all your help, I feel for sure that it was because of you that this morning I received my money back from Homewish, with out you I'm sure this would not of happened, many many thanks for everything.

I placed an order on 15th November 2016 for a caspian table and stool set order no. 14433 for which I am still awaiting delivery! The money was taken from my account on 17th November, I received an email stating that there was a backlog of orders and that my order would take longer to process. On 16th November I emailed asking for a delivery date and was told there was no fixed delivery time, and was assured they would be in touch once the order was processed. On 15th December I emailed yet again asking how much longer was this order going to take for delivery, on the 18th December I received another email stating that there had been a software issue at the warehouse and that they hoped it wouldn't be much longer before I received my goods, I replied requesting a full refund and have received no response so far. Here we are at 10th January 2017 exactly 8 weeks later and I am still no further forward, I have emailed again today stating that I wish a full refund and that if I receive no response within 24hours I will have no choice but to take this further. Who do these people think they are? How can they sleep at night knowing they are duping people out of their money? I am a pensioner and cannot afford to lose this money. Wish I had ordered elsewhere, will be vigilant in future!!!

I ordered an item 2 months ago, with delivery to be provided within days of my order. I then received an email to say my order would be processed within 30 days! When I chased them after a month, they advised that they 'still do not have a fixed delivery time'. A further month down the line, I then received a refund stating they had a problem with their payment processor but still no indication of when my item would be available. Don't bother, just buy your item from somewhere else, which is what I will be doing.

Ordered some furniture, received email saying there was a delay in the delivery date. After a month I sent emails that got no reply. No telephone contact number for company. Finally got money back after disoputing transaction with the bank.
