Tried to buy a mainecoon. The website looked good and seemed reputable. But looks are deceiving. The more I looked at the site the more it was apparent it was a scam. You can leave a review. No address or phone number is listed. And I did some searching by the same cats are listed on other sites.
Anyways. I sent money via zelle. Another red flag. Your bank can’t get that back. I sent to an email address different that the email I was communicating with. ([email protected]) and was supposed to receive the kitten today, and I asked for an update and never got a response. Called the number, it was a text app. Left a few texts and tried calling again at a different time and the number was no longer active.
Please do more research before buying anything online.
