The manager of the Holiday Inn @ Brunswick has effectively ensured I never stay at another Holiday Inn. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn @ Brunswick many times over the last year and currently staying this week through Friday. I walked in this morning looking for a meeting place I could use for 30 minutes. There is a conference room I've used before, but apparently it was closed. Jean (the manager) came to the front desk and wanted to charge me $250.00. She said that this was a daily rate and could not let me use it for 30 minutes. There was no hourly rate, it was $250.00 or nothing. I called 1800 Holiday, they contacted Jean as well. Apparently there was nothing they could do because it was up to the manager. So, congratulations Holiday Inn, your fantastic customer service to a Platinum Elite member has just caused you to lose a customer for a lifetime.

I booked an overnight at Holiday Inn - Glasgow Airport prior to my holiday, and was given a preferential members rate, as a regular customer, providing I paid in full at time of booking.
My holiday was cancelled because of Thomas Cook Airlines collapse, as my Travel Agent was unable to arrange alternative flights ... Almost everyone was great, my Travel Agent gave me a refund, Secure Parking gave me a Credit Note for a future booking.
Only bad vibe, was Holiday Inn, I phoned before cancelling, only to be told, No Refund, No Credit – lost full payment because a special rate was given ... Could have changed the date, but I would have to give a new date there and then, that I might want in the future.
I was appalled and upset at Holiday Inn benefitting from Thos Cook collapse .... Rather than helping out loyal customers ... I complained to Holiday Inn Cust Services, was given the glib reply – but it’s the Hotel’s Policy .... This was exceptional circumstances, caused by an unexpected event.
But if that is their policy, and they are happy to discard customers, I know where I will not be staying in future .... Their attitude left a bad taste .... A Credit Note, would have mean a future stay, and spending on meals, drinks etc .... I maybe lost out, but through their actions, so did they - on my future spending.

4 or 5 star ratings are a joke for Holiday Inn is a joke. They must have paid a company to post all those positive reviews. Holiday Inn is deceitful in its business practices. Their booking prices are not clear. So we got different prices before and after the booking. When calling to cancel, they would not let us and gave us a runaround telling us we need to talk to the agent while the agent told us to talk to hotel directly. Classic runaround avoidance technique. Supposedly they can’t resolve issues on their own. Holiday In. should not be in business. They didn’t help us eafter multiple calls— don’t support this customer unfriendly businesses!!!

We travel on business and use Holiday Inn about 10 times a year . As its business we were late on arrival and they gave away our room even tho on the booking it said our room was guaranteed . At 11.30pm they sent us to another hotel who wouldn't accept us as they were a holiday inn and not holiday inn express . We then were sent to another Holiday Inn and we finally got a room at 1am.
Our booking was for 5 nights and i suppose i would have over looked it but on the last night i was issued with a £100 fine from the great parkingeye. What a waste of space they are . They have lost our 10 rooms at year , usually more and i will happily go to jail before i give the scammers a penny. I have also emailed head of complaints who couldn't be bothered to respond to my email.

Everything was great, until we turned on the TV. It was broken, we immediately notified staff and had actually just checked in. No problem, they replaced it. Stayed one night. Great breakfast staff. Until 2 days later and a $445 charge went through, for the damn tv. THAT WE DIDN'T BREAK!!!!! No help when we called, the guy said he could do whatever he wanted. Called corporate but these horrible hotels are privately owned. Called the local sherriff, very nice and said it sounded very wrong but couldn't do a thing. Total BS, that in turn, left a family stranded in Florida (our gas $ back home). Will continue to fight this through a lawyer and the local news. Good job holiday inn, it could have been the prior occupents, maid who cleaned the room not wanting to lose her job, electrician working in all the rooms surrounding us, or just a bad tv. But thank you for blaming us and charging an astronomical fee for a tiny crappy tv. BS and SHAME ON YOU!!!

Wembley Holiday inn. Booked 9 months in advance for night of P! Nk concert arrived on day.... Our room been cancelled by the hotel who admitted to us and many others stranded and in the same position that night at the hotel that this is a regular thing when concerts are on and people have booked way in advance. They offered us rooms double the price in the hotel or ones we'll over an hour away with no transportation to the new hotel. Terrible would never book again. To think I was in their rewards club too is discussing. The security guard on door refused me a glass of water from the side and even took it from my hand and drank it himself in front of my face. He said they were for hotel guests only. We where two girls stranded until 1.40am on a Saturday night due to this. Terrible

Visited the Holiday Inn at Rochester Airport in Kent. The room is clean and comfortable. I love the walk in shower too. Its been a good number of years since I've been here. Had a meal in the restaurant and the food is fantastic. Staff can't do enough for us. Of particular stand out note is Jonny. His recommendation of the sundae is absolutely spot on.

Terrible customer service. Had a problem with my stay and was initially given the details for the wrong hotel when I contacted holiday inn so I couldn't contact this branch of the hotel until late. The hotel made me an offer to solve the problem very late at night then retracted the offer the next day. Was passed on to management who didn't reply to my email. Don't stay here if you expect to stay with a hotel that has staff who actually care about their customers.

I was violated and lied to by Holidayinn.
The violation occured at 120 Camaron San Antonio, Texas. HOLIDAYINN EXPRESS Confirmation No. 25369498. The Corporation lied to get my business. I also signed Holidayinn contract to Reserve All my rights under UCC 1-207. I was also faced with the problem of performance to get my full benefits only because I paid already. This is Corporate Cuckery at its finest. Actually I told the day manage i felt like I was kidnapped. Total waste of time and money staying there.
Stay was 10-7 thru 9, 2019. Don't be fooled.
I orginally called the Holidayinn outside there St.Marys location in San Antonio. There price was to much so declined...then they told me they had a Holidayin Express at a better rate less than a mile away. I asked person on the phone if they had parking they said yes.....but it was a lie I later found out. HolidayInn will lie to get your money. NO DOUBT. I'm a Veteran 69 years old. Even the Cops had to eventually come out to the 120 Camaron location. I also noticed the HolidayInn locations will blame each other for there cuckery and location issues..... claiming there independently owned. I do have a police report stub if anyone wants it. Of coarse I know these law officer's are foreign agents of the crown. One has to hope there's real truth somewhere. Even my car got towed. Don't deal with HolidayInn if you want to remain whole in your finances.

Had a wedding to go to and booked a room using trivago for a room for 3 adults and was charged £65 sounded like a pretty good deal... however when I turned up I was told they had to charge me another £30 for having 3 people! On top of that I get into my room and it is ridiculous. Small tv and an uncomfortable sofa bed. I will not be using holiday inn again

Good experience overall in the 2 holiday inns I have stayed in. The one in Taunton was overall better than one in Guildford.
Pleasant decor, room service, good selection of food for breakfast, good sized restaurant/bar, smoking areas, clean and tidy, pleasant staff. Liked the swimming pool and gym.
Guildford Holiday inn wasnt as good because there was chewing gum in a lot of places such as in the bed and underneath the tables and I wasnt impressed by fact they told me night before that I could take a breakfast off if changed my mind yet in the morning said it was not refundable.

I stayed @ Holiday Inn Lansdale Pa. Room comfortable; I paid extra for the breakfast, & it was worth it. Only negative was: a) when I arrived & entered room, I noted radio wasn't working & tried to reset time since I am central & Pa eastern time. I called front desk x2 for replacement & nothing occurred. b) Negative: hotel pet friendly, yet the pet fee a bit high (I had stayed @ another hotel & fee was $10/night. This hotel was $25/night. Being a senior on fixed income, a bit high. plus I do NOT know IF hotel acknowledges AARP member's, which I am. Overall decent hotel; clean so only those 2 negatives were not so dramatic.

Had a good night at hog roast plus disco. The staff were lovely. However, the prices at the the bar were a problem, I bought a double Bacardi and coke and the price was £8.05 which is taking the mick.

Spent 11 day at Holiday Inn, Orlando, South Kirkman Road and was extremely disappointed. We had no welcome pack, no tea bags or milk/creamer upon arrival. We were only given tea bags (2) every 3rd day and when I asked, reception only gave me 1 bag as they had run out!!! The pool was closed with no signs/reason as to why, the lady at reception was very rude to my husband when he enquired. He was told that there is a policy that the lighting storm has to be 12 miles away before the pool is open - I could not easily/find this policy at all written on their website. There was no lighting outside for approx an hour plus with no rain/storm in sight. Theme parks nearby (Volcano Bay)operate on a 5 mile radius - this policy is therefore more than extreme. We had a dishwasher but during the 11 days here was only given 2 dishwasher cleaner sachets, when we told reception they gave us a mini bottle of washing up liquid even though we had a tiny sink with no drainer and nothing to wash the dishes with. Truly disappointed and will not be using Holiday Inn again.

Offer a shuttle service from the airport they don’t even turn up for adding a hour onto an already 2 hour journey home. Reception told us the driver had driven by and no one was there even thought we had been waiting 15 minutes before. Driver then turns up after the call to reception and makes us wait a further 15 minutes until the next due time and stated he had to take people to the football ground and that’s why he didn’t turn up.
All in all terrible service wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel is ok although looking a little tired these days. My main issue is the fact that Holiday Inn have aligned themselves with ParkingEye who manage the car park here.
ParkingEye are an example of highway robbery at its worst. Sending out fines even when my car has been properly registered and then having just about the worst customer care service I have ever seen. I'm sure Holiday Inn could find a more responsible partner to manage their car park.

I worked for holiday inn Regent’s Park, during my time there I was bullied, abused, belittled, I cried a lot at work, I cried every when I got home, the manager of housekeeping and all her gang of friends made my life a living hell that it began to affect me, I contemplated suicide due the treatment I got at work, I tried to take the situation to the manager of the hotel but her secretary who was pregnant at the time said she would report the issue to the manager and she never, days later I saw this lady sitting with my bullies at lunchtime talking and laughing. Things got so bad, that my doctor told me not to go back to work until it was sorted out, guess what the hotel never did anything about. I believe I was bullied due to racism 💯💯💯💯it took me years to get over what happened,

I was a rewards member with holiday inn for years. My last stay was hell. I woke up with 3 bites on my arm the first night. I ignored it thinking that it was the natural elements of the day. The next night after sleeping partly bare, I woke up with multiple bites about the body on the exposed areas. I immediately contacted front desk and the manager on duty whom I felt was pleasant but the general manager Ahmid was the most insensitive jerk of all. He did not apologize for the experience but simply offered a room for us to relocate for his bed to be examined. He was more concerned about proving me wrong than he was about customer service. To this day no apology from holiday inn and no compensation for the agony and suffering I experienced from those bites. I will never return

I visited the Holiday Inn, Taunton for a booked charity meeting, parking in the hotel car park and received a £60 parking fine for my efforts. The hotel reception staff showed no willingness to help. The result, I will never use the Holiday Inn under any circumstances and the charity has lost a big supporter. Well done!

We spent a night at the holiday inn in Guildford, I have to say initially I wasn’t expecting much, how wrong was I. The staff, the hotel and facilities and food were first class, I would recommend this hotel if your going to the theme parks. You won’t be disappointed.
The rooms were spotless clean, they gave us a upgrade to a executive room which was nice. Spotless clean throughout, oh and the foyer, bar area and restaurant is simply stunning.
The breakfast was first class, quality food and plenty of it too.
Liked it so much, we are going again next week. We are now holiday inn members 😀

Having just returned from a short stay in the Holiday Inn at Liverpool City centre, I have only praise for the staff who made my stay so enjoyable. The front desk employees are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, breakfast superb. We'll done to one and all, I certainly will be returning in the near future.

So I stayed at holiday inn express for the first time and OMG what a crap hotel... check out time is 11am and they don't give you a minute over had cleaners knocking on door shouting what time are you leaving I told them soon as I was in the bathroom and they actually turned the water off, I couldn't flush the toilet or wash my hands. This was in London and I've stayed in better classy hotels in poorer countrys. Never again will I stay at this rubbish hotel. Appalling service

Wow after reading all the terrible feedback, it’s a good job we stayed before going on Trustpilot.
The young reception staff member was very polite and professional. When there was a problem she was very apologetic. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and again very helpful staff.
We stayed several weeks ago in a standard room and this weekend in an executive room, both were nice but very warm. Thankfully, because the air con wasn’t up to much, we found a fan in the wardrobe which was amazing.
If anyone from this branch is reading, the wall light still needs a bulb in 242!!
