It has very good features but also some point we are looking better option like some we are inserting miles range but data pull out of the range which comes problem to connect the right candidates.

Monster is a good sourcing tool for recruiters as a whole. Wish they had more cleared applicants/ individuals.

I don't get the resumes that I am looking for using keywords on a regular basis. I really don't like the format or the search page. I unfortunately have never gotten a hire from Monster. I wish that when posting a position I had more industry options or categories to choices.

In the 12 years that I have been a Recruiter at this firm, I have found Monster to be cumbersome to use. Right away I began to use Career Builder because it is so fluid, and has continued to update through the years. I felt that Monster was lagging WAY behind and only recently made any changes to update its service. I'm too pleased with Career Builder to make any kind of change, in spite of the updates that I have viewed on Monster.

we find almost all candidates on Monster and we have been using Monster, for 18+ years now, with multiple success stories! We highly recommend it.

I don't like that I can't just click from one resume to the next without going back to search page. It's inefficient and cumbersome. This really keeps me from utilizing your site. Also there should be a way to filter work authorizations. I don't mind 3rd party resumes, I do mind when it's misleading to make me believe that I'm reaching out to a candidate when I'm really reaching out to an employer.

I hope we can open a resume on a different tab. And as far as I know, downloading each resume will deduct 1 view which is very inconvenient. I hope that rumor isn't true as we are unable to copy and paste the whole resume since it's posted as an image.
Lastly, I hope you can add a field in the results page where we can see each candidate's work authorization.

Just not getting the responses I would have expected

Way to many old resumes. The filters don't work accurately or in a useful way. Most candidates do not respond.

Good, but could use some improvements. Several great candidates, but search capabilities could be improved to allow it to be more user-friendly.

Monster is our go to site for job postings. The site is easy to work with and customer service is always prompt and helpful when needed. The postings are very affordable, especially when they are running specials.

I can not reset my password, it is infuriating. It always tells me it is sending me an email to reset it and never does. Any help to aid me in this would be much appreciated. It's not very useful for me if I can't get in.

Monster is needed but doesn't add anything spectacular. 5 years ago the Power Search was new and a good tool to have. However the "cool tool" is finicky and I trust my boolean more.
I will admit with Linkedin Recruiter now available I now find my best candidates from there.

There is no option to choose a visa option like as in Career Builder or Techfetch portals, It would be great if you add a visa option to choose between USC/GC/H1B/OPT/EAD e.t.c
Review by PuckFussy4 months ago
its really only if you can add visa specific option that will be helping .

Despite modifying my job listing with the suggestions of a monter.com rep, I have not received a single viable applicant. Our job is in northern California and is very plainly labeled as such. All applicants have been from southern California and none have met the minimum job requirements for experience and education.
