this company has awful customer service. i called about replacing my sub that broke out of no where after 3 months, i'm barely out of warranty and i get told that i'm sol and i need to take it to a audio shop and then i was hung up on. i called back and asked to speak to a manager where i was argued with and then hung up on yet again. do not use this company they rip you off and do not help at all.

Back in December I purchased a set of door speakers for my 09' BMW 328i e92 vehicle, the site and my first call to Hifisoundconnection (HSC) said that the part I wanted would fit. I did NOT!!. subsequently now I had to return the parts at my cost of $27.56 which is now a loss, and it must be shipped by FEDEX with special instructions as to what was sent to me and the still end up charging me a 10% restocking fee on my purchase of $39.99, shipping through another carrier will incur further losses and after going back and forth over a number of emails they processed the restocking without me asking for a replacement. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, if part is wrong you will always lose $$$ . I ended up with no speakers and only received $31.99 back and a loss of $35.56. WHAT A WASTE !!!

I was worried after I placed an order with this company I went online to read reviews and they were all so terrible!! I immediately regretted my decision and went to see about returning it ... would have cost me more than the original purchase so I just crossed my fingers and hoped it would be ok. I called the company who assured me everything was fine... they sent the parts right away and they were the correct one. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because one small plastic piece was broke, but it wasn't a big deal.

I ordered a vehicle specific speaker package for a Chevy HHR. The package included two 6x9 speakers as shown in the attached photo for the rear doors. I had not looked to see what type of speakers were installed in the back of the car. Turns out the Chevy HHR has four 6.5" round speakers. Cost to return the 6x9s $43.00 using FedEx as they recommend. They will NOT pay for return shipping even though this is their mistake.
The customer service was quick and friendly but could not help with the return costs no matter what I said or provided as proof of the misleading web page. AND, they have not corrected the web site.
All in all, I ended up buying a 2 din mount, a wiring harness and the speaker package. The packaging for the speakers was horrible but the look and work fine. Everything worked except the rear speakers. These needed to be exchanged for the same as the front speakers. I'm still waiting for these to arrive, I have been working on this install since the end of February, it is now March 27th

I filled out the fields for their " what fits your vehicle" I filled out all the fields and they sent me a speaker that did not fit. I returned it on my own fine and they would not refund. They said I have premium speakers even though they are OEM. So I paid for shipping, return shipping, and now they have my product and won't refund. Called them and got a bunch of BS about semantics when the bottom line is I filled out "what fits my vehicle"

This company is a complete sham. I ordered 2 sets of speakers and they only shipped one set. I spent DAYS emailing back and forth, sending pictures of the shipping package (with a ruler in the photo to prove the size of the package could not have contained 2 sets) and STILL they claimed both sets were in the package. They ignored all my requests to either refund my money or ship the second set of speakers. I lost a ton of money. No matter how good you think the deal is, don't risk it.

which is doesn't, it has the same speakers they all came with. Only one option for this year. They refused to cover my return shipping cost and claimed I would have to pay a restocking fee for what was 100% their error. I couldn't believe this since they are obviously just guessing what speakers fit what cars so I called again. They said they would ask the "higher ups" about covering the shipping and then never got back to me!

I purchased a sub box for Christmas that was bought under the specs that it would fit my vehicle. After taking it to not one but two professional installers I was advised this box would not fit my vehicle and indeed would have to be cut and altered. When I contacted to find out how I could get a refund, I was interrogated as to if I had put the box in correctly, what the vin to my vehicle was to see if their specs would fit etc. I advised I merely wanted a refund but they would not offer that all!! Waste of time and my money!! Horrible customer service and horrible purchase!! If I could give them a zero I would!!

I ordered 4 gauge wire for a amplifier, I got 8 gauge wire. First and second pictures is of the so called 4 gauge wire and my 8 gauge speaker wire, third and fourth pictures is of some cheap 4 gauge wire and the $#*! that was sold to me from this company. So you all tell me, I think who ever they have working in the wire needs to go back to school and practice more on shapes and sizes.

We received our order damaged in shipping. Even though it was damaged we were charged a 20% restocking fee, totaling $56!! Even though the item shouldn't be restocked... it should be fixed first. I tried getting this money returned to me on multiple attempts. I will NEVER shop here again!!!!!

P.O # 16245233. SKU: HA-SPK-PACKAGE409-1. What they advertise to fit without modifications in a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 regular cab rear speakers DOES NOT FIT without modifications. Also they sent the factory speaker wire adapters that fit the factory plug but does not plug into the speakers they sent! Duh! And the worst customer service rep "Paul Smith" continued to demand those are the correct speakers. And if I don't want them, it will cost the buyer return shipping even for HiFiSound "Con" making the mistake! The cost of return shipping is not worth the expense.
As for them shipping the product to me. It was small boxes and parts wrapped up in thin plastic wrap. By the time I received the package it was torn,worn and parts scuffed. Obviously the package was taped up by the shipping company as to keep it all together. As if HiFiSound "Con" can't afford a shipping box! What da?
If I had a worst enemy, I won't suggest dealing with HiFiSound "Cons". STAY AWAY! You will GET Screwed by HiFiSound "Cons". There are much better quality products and service out there. I should have heeded all the reviews and warning signs. STAY AWAY from HiFiSound "Con"!

Sent back a faulty sub woofer, was told I would get a refund. It's been 3 months, numerous calls to their customer service. They say it's "been escalated". Asked to speak with supervisor, could only leave messages. No one ever calls back. Company and customer service is the worst. Do not order from this company or you will regret it.

I ordered a set of 10 inch Rockfords installed in a sub box to fit my TJ. UPS dropped the ball by delivering it with a small gash in the sub box. I knew it had happened during delivery, because the box it was delivered in had the same marking of a hole where the sub box was damaged. (Not HiFi's Fault). Got the box installed hook up the amp and tuned it in. All I can say is WOW. This setup makes all the difference in the world to the sound and feel of my music in the TJ. These guys delivered exactly what I was expecting and some. I will definitely be dealing with these guys again and would recommend then to anyone. Seems like these folks has pretty good reviews on Amazon too. Big Shout Out To HiFiSound Connection... Thanks, You Guys Did Great!

Ordered a supposedly OEM complete antenna replacement for a 2009 Toyota Prius, it isn't, base is much smaller, antenna wire extension too short to connector, 12 volt wire connector not OEM, antenna whip came to me damaged, someone had tried to glue it, I reported all this and there response was they would send me a return authorization number but I would be responsible for the freight and 20% restocking fee, after 4 days I never received the authorization so I reordered a proper antenna replacement and threw theirs in the trash. This is my second and last dealing with HiFi Sound, first experience was basically the same, obviously I'm a slow learner!! Don't buy from this company, let's try and put this terrible company out of business, just don't buy from them.

Wow, wish I had seen these reviews before my purchase. Ordered a powered antenna that their website said would fit my car, obviously too large. Contacted support, they said, "no problem, send it back.(on my dime). Got hit with a 20% restocking fee! Horrible experience.

Ordered a underseat sub and box combo for my F250 and was stated underseat...first off I ordered it May 8th..package was supposedly delivered on May 17th while I was at work thru UPS. So I check my porch camera...UPS driver walks up to my porch, looks around but never leaves package. So i contact customer service and tell them. They inform me to contact UPS to find my package. UPS shows in their system that the original order was processed as "Package pickup from customer for Return Shipping." First mistake by the company. They then proceed to have me put UPS through a lost package investigation which takes 8 to 10 business days to do. UPS calls me on day 9 to inform me that they couldn't find my package even though it was put into their system incorrectly and that they would pay Hifi for the item. So I contact Hifi again and explain what UPS told me...they then proceed to tell me they have to investigate as well and it will take 7 to 14 business days to complete. Another mistake. Now here its beginning of June, I have no package and have gotten to play the waiting game almost a month. I get an email from Hifi stating that I have to wait for UPS to return my package and be checked back into their warehouse...what??? Even after all that I've explained to them. So now I'm highly upset because for one, their customer service sucks, they only want to communicate through email and take forever to reply. So I finally had a customer service person call me in regards to my issue and wanted me to buy another sub and box combo which already cost me 400 to begin with, so now that would be 800 this company would have of my money and potentially the same issue happening to the 2nd package. So this guy says I have to wait for UPS payment to them to finish processing before they can send me a replacement...that takes another week. Finally they call and process my replacement and tell me itll be delivered in 3 to 5 business days...later that evening i get an email that the product is out of stock and i have to wait until it becomes available again...there goes another week. So i finally get another customer service rep to call and he offered me a refund of 50 dollars. That has been processing for almost a month and a half now and its August 1st. It's always something with this company...never will I order from them again.

I purchased a Camaro combo kit from them and the subs came in broken. Immediately they said I have to call the manufacturer for a warranty claim. They said there policy stated that in writing. After a long conversation they said "that is what is implied". I have since settled it with the mfr, but even they said it should have been handled at the dealer level. Just a bunch of unnecessary BS. I will never buy from them again......EVER.

A vinyl record case was purchased from this company in the amount of $89.99. Upon receiving the item, both clapse were broken, therefore making the vinyl record case unusable. The item was purchased through Ebay and shipping was prompt, however, the item received was damaged. After calling the company customer service department, they directed me to email them with the item number and pictures of the item. I did this and received an email back stating that they would provide a partial refund of $5.00. ARE YOU SERIOUS?????????! They then told me the partial refund was for me to have the item "fixed" locally. I requested a full refund and they then responded saying they would give me $15 instead of $5. This was a case amounting to $89.99 and they only want to give me $15.00 for it when I told them if they would provide me with the shipping label, I would be more than happy to return the item to them at their cost (since they sent me a damaged item) and expected a full refund. They now will not get back to me. I called the customer service department once again, they asked me if the $15.00 refund was okay with me? I said "absolutely not! I want to return the item at your cost and receive a full refund." They put me on hold and after 10 minutes hung up the phone.

Terrible customer service. SERIOUSLY, read the above reviews. All of this is the truth. I bought speakers for my Tacoma that said they were a "direct fit OEM replacement." These did not fit my truck and neither did the wiring harness. I contacted the company, and much like the folks above, they advised that I would have to pay for return shipping on speakers that DID NOT fit my truck. This is false advertising. They even asked for my VIN number and I provided it and they then confirmed that "your truck actually takes a different size." That was obvious. Even after admitting that they sent me the wrong speakers, they refused to pay for return shipping (which was close to $20). I am not going to pay for their mistake. Will not be doing business with them again and would warn anyone considering doing business with this company....

I placed an order for 2 Kicker 10s in hideaway box for a Nissan Truck. It was very hard to get it ordered(almost 3 hours). The website allows for shipment to a different address than the billing address of the credit card that I used to pay with. After seven attempts to complete the transaction it was finally successful. Then several hours later a RUDE associate calls me and tells me its there policy not to ship anything over $100.00 to a different address than the billing address. I tried to explain I own a used car lot, Roberts Motors, in Hickory NC and that I am at work alot more than home. He was very rude and said sorry for you but if you want I can stop the transaction. I ask for a supervisor and was told he did not have to get me intouch with anyone above him because they would just say the same thing. I called back and spoke to a lead customer service rep,Sam. I guess he was right she was as bad or worse than he was!!!! if I treated my customers like that I would be out of business!! Last time I will ever order from them. I hope they treat you better, but I do not think they will!!!

I Bought 2 12" Rockford Fosgate R1S412 from Hifisoundconnection. Now, when I bought them and the money had been sent through, ect. I didn't look for reviews on the website, I just bought them. A couple days after buying them, and no email, I did get a little skeptical so I called them to get an update. It was super nice to talk to an American that I don't have to have a translator sitting next to me to talk to. They told me an update on the item and also resent an email which I received the second time. After that, I looked for reviews on the site... well every site has them at 1 star for some reason. I read a lot about product not being what it should or not working or being in a fight trying to get their money back. Now I can't speak about getting money back because I won't be needing it.
What I got In the mail from them was quality items that work as should. I have ZERO issues. I'm a normal person, not paid to make a good/$#*!ty review. The subwoofer box was perfectly wrapped, the box it was delivered in was decent. Overall, I had a great experience with this company. If you've bought from them, give them a chance. I don't think you'll regret it. I took a chance and I'm happy I did.
All of these reviews almost made me want to back-charge before getting my item but I chose to wait it out. These reviews I don't feel are justified
