I wish you all would quit cramming hometown down our throats. I've never cared for the show / its way too "grandmas frumpy design" and way too hokey. There's so many other shows that have endured the test of time because people love them House hunters, House hunters international, House hunters renovation-all the renovation shows are so much more fun to watch except hometown and also fixer-upper which is also been crammed down our throat's way too much. Thank you.

I watch HGTV quite a bit and I've read through quite a few of the reviews here. I don't understand why people complain so much about Home Town and Christina On The Coast. Both are good programs. Yes, Christina's voice is a bit grading, but so is Tamara Day (Bargain Mansions). My objections are when furniture appears to be included but is not (Fixer Upper). At least on Flip or Flop, they mention that they're paying for staging, so all of the furniture is clearly not included, but they're honest. Bring back Restored and move it from the dying DIY to HGTV.

It is May 25, 2020 and I am sitting here watching my favorite channel and one of my favorite shows-Home Town. Then bam a commercial for MSNBC Rachael Maddox. Are you kidding me. I watch HGTV to stay away from all the political fake news. Please don't mess that up by bringing your views to something most of us watch to get away from all the mess. If I wanted to watch news TV I would and not HGTV. Keep it up and I will stop watching.

Can I just enjoy the great shows without the constant reminder that we are in a pandemic? I am so tired of the depressing commercials . If I want depression then I will just skip my favorite shows and watch CNN. Please stop !!!!

He is nothing except an ego on the loose. Christina kept him grounded. Stupid immature facial expressions and you can easily remember dumb buys he done and she would have to rescue the design. Acts like a professional male prostitute in my opinion. Had to hook up with a look a like wants bee. To be a successful real estate person she must show listings in head to toe feed sack. Disgusting show. I made through a couple now record so I can fast forward. Same couple of idiots for him to advise. Love where they prove the pro does not know everything. Wake up HGTV. Flipping 101 sucks makes one wonder if she dumped him for being on both sides of the fence.

Home Town is being shown too much - time to end it. At least move it to daytime to give night time viewers a break.

This review is for David Bromstad, the host for My Lottery Dream Home. What s handsome personable great host he is! Not many people can hold down a show like that all on their own. He is so charismatic and caring to his clients. He is genuinely interested in them. I hope he gets paid well...he deserves it. Please let him know how handsome and talented he is and that he does not need anymore tattoos (or even the ones that he has). The are taking away from the natural beauty he already possesses.

When did the robot with the female voice become incorporated in House Hunters? The episode of the couple buying a home in Mesa AS was extremely irritating. Please allow the viewers to use their own brains.

Was watching Bargain Mansions. The "designer" destroys some of the most beautiful details of an older home to make it a "modern" style. Instead of taking the sledge hammer to some woodwork that she doesn't like for her modern appearance, why not take a few minutes extra to reserve those pieces to donate/resell? I've only watched this show three times, but each time I turn it off after 10 minutes because she is ridiculous.

the woman saying what the people are doing like going up the stairs, or opening the door is still jabbering away, too annoying for me it ruins Lottery Dream Home and House Hunters which I enjoyed, there are a lot of other channels to watch, plus other shows are being repeated so much I know the people by heart so BYE

I'm so glad for this show.
We got so tired of Chip & Joanna - too corny and contrived.
This young couple are so lovely and doing such good things in their community.
My only complaint is that someone - a producer or director - has recently been trying to coach them to act like Chip & Joanna - all cornball and making fun of each other. That's not natural for them - it's so sad to see. Just let them be who they are - NOT Chip & Joanna! Do something different!

Thank you HGTV for bringing back Sunday nights. Please continue to bring happy shows such as Beach Home, Beach Hunters. Also I simply love David - My Lottery Dream Home, I rush home just to watch him on Friday nights. Although I like the Brits, please more of David--Thank You

Most shows and people on HGTV are very diverse, inclusive and inspiring. EXCEPT for Home Town. Unlike Chip and Joanna (Fixer Upper), their personalities don't feel very inclusive or open-minded... or mature for that matter. The guy's got a chip on his shoulder, not only is he ungracefully cocky for TV but he also treats his helpers with a lack of respect that you didn't see in other HGTV shows. Seriously disappointed in HGTV.

I for one love hometown, they are much easier to watch than Joanna and chip Gaines. They are a fun loving couple I would love to have as friends. They appear real and themselves, which I love. Erin's design is always a little different than fixer upper. Fixer upper is one main theme and hardly deviate from that. Hometown really ask their people what they do and don't like and what is important to them. I give them 5 thumbs up!! Unless its a 10 thumb count then its 10 thumbs up! Ben and Erin I hope you read this and know there are people out here who love your show and don't miss one episode! Keep up the great work. Jim Walter

I Love Erin and Ben they are the new Chip and Joanna Gaines. I was so disappointed when Chip and Joanna stopped their shows but HGTV has proved they are the best at home improvement. Erin and Ben make me feel happy and confident to start home projects. I Love to see their transformations. Keep up the good work!!!

HGTV shows and personalities used to be very diverse, inclusive and inspiring. NOT Home Town. Unlike Chip and Joanna (Fixer Upper), this couple isn't very inclusive or open-minded... or mature for that matter. The guy's got a chip on his shoulder, not only is he ungracefully cocky but he also treats his helpers with a lack of respect that you didn't see in other HGTV shows. In addition, they're a rip-off; we've all seen flips, and we know how much money it takes to do a total gut job in a kitchen (15-20K) with high-end modern finishes. I've seen this guy charge from 35K up for an unimpressive kitchen where he ended up building some of the items himself. Total rip-off. Seriously disappointed in HGTV.

I have watched HGTV a lot. All of a sudden Home Town is on almost every night. I don't care for their work. Love it or List it and the Property Brothers are okay. Anything else and Home Town I thin are not good picks. Occasionally you have an old Fixer Upper. Please put something else on. In my view. Home Town is a flop. Cristina on the Coast is not that great either. What is going on with HGTV programming?????

Mostly good shows. Enjoy watching reruns of Good Bones, Property Brothers and Fixer Upper. DO NOT like HOME TOWN. Am turned off by the star hosts. Wife seems to be the pusher. Please cancel this one.

I love Ben and Erin, and they're honest, humble approach. I get great ideas from the show, and love the people they feature. I also I'm pleased to say that they help people regardless of color, gender and sexual orientation. We are all God's children. Thank you Ben and Erin, from a straight grandma. ❤️

This used to be a reliable channel to watch. Lately though the programming has really gone down hill. Where is house hunters-all these flipper shows and endless reruns of Chip and Joanna Gains-are just not entertaining. All the flips look alike and they are all done for unreasonably low amounts of money. The Gaines time is over and done. Lottery Dream Home is thinking outside the box and is enjoyable. Surly you can come up with something different than the same formula for professional flippers. Look to the likes of Brett Waterman for inspiration

I do not appreciate the in episode ads. I do not see it as a good trend for TV viewing. If it continues and spreads across multiple channels I will cancel my cable.
