Worst place ever I spent hours and hours trying to get my account corrected they auto-enrolled me twice..they're holding up my taxes for 2019 because they never generated a 1095a ... I'd give them zero stars if I could

Taking advantage of people during covid-19. I submitted my financial change during covid-19 on the 16th they apparently update every 15 days which would land me march 31 and was still charged the full amount. High mark told me on there end I only owe 63.83 and just need the paperwork sent over. Health care.gov said, "sorry nothing we can do". This is disgusting and wrong. This is the third time I have been burned by this site. Its a joke, last year I didn't get coverage because I clicked the x out of a popup window and didn't press close so it apparently didn't submit so I had no coverage for a year and was told I didn't qualify for special enrollment period. The year before they chose a plan for me that was $600 a month and there was nothing I could do about it and was told I HAD to pay the $600 to change my plan even though I chose a different one but they already made the selection for me. DISGUSTING business practice.

Our son was born last year, the marketplace entered his his date of birth incorrectly, which resulted in some of the doctors charges being denied by Blue Cross. When we tried to correct this through the marketplace they kept giving us the run around. Blue Cross said there was nothing they could do. We spent over 10 hours on numerous different occasions talking to the marketplace which resulted in nothing. We are almost being sent to collections because of this outstanding $1500 bill & we have been fighting this for 7 wks. We pay for the best BCBS PPO plan which doesn't matter when theres an issue as the customer service is horrible. The service makes no sense, it's as if its intentionally bad.

The website is a joke - I couldn't get on to create an account and no one could help me with that so I talked to multiple representatives and finally got something set up. A couple of weeks later I reported a change of income which pushed me into a much more expensive option in the silver plan. When I said I wanted to go with the bronze plan they told me I couldn't. I have an appeals filed but God only knows how long it'll take to hear back from that, if I ever do. I was getting billed for a plan that I no longer qualified for because of the change of income, so I called again and a very rude young woman who would not stop talking so that I could explain my situation told me that I had to verbally tell them that I needed to cancel a plan that I no longer even qualified for. When I tried initially to create an account on the website and put in my information including my assumed entire income for the year I was able to qualify for a bronze plan but once I gave them updated information - which was exactly the same amount as I had done online, suddenly I was only able to qualify for a silver plan. So now I'm without insurance completely - thanks so much Mr Obama.

We dread calling because we have never gotten our issues taken care of. I got Lisa Fisher and let me just say that she is the sweetest representative we have spoken to yet. She made sure to make sure we had everything taken care of and treated me like we were friends and not just another phone call. There needs to be more people like her.

I called to cancel my plan. That is all i wanted to do. I am 22 years old. I asked the agent if I could simply cancel my plan. She went on and on abut how I am a millennial, and how millennials think they know everything. I simply asked to cancel my plan. My age should have nothing to do with me wanting to cancel my plan. She then went on to tell me that her daughter is my age, and us "young folk" don't listen. I asked if I could possibly speak to someone else, as all I wanted to do was cancel my plan. She said no and continued to tell me that "she couldn't live without health insurance" and "how will I live without health Insurance." Honestly this is ridiculous. I don't need someone judging and questioning me simply because of my age.

In short the marketplace cannot figure out how to apply my tax credit for 4 days, this has caused my health insurance to cancel this week, very scary since i now have organ problems and cannot fill any prescriptions also had to cancel may doctor appointments, they gave me a tax credit of $872 per month but a glitch happened where the tax credit wasn't applied for 4 days causing my premium to be $925 for that period instead of $84 which it should be, i've tried for 2 months and filing multiple appeals but no one there can figure out how to apply the credit for 4 days, i'm scared especially with this pandemic.

Since I have to give it a star I gave it one, but really it's ZERO stars. It is completely ridiculous! What took me a 15-minute call when my firstborn was needed to be added to our insurance before the marketplace has now taken 4 months, 3 "application" processes, 30 pieces of physical paper, over 15 phone calls, and a whole lot of frustration, and guess what they still haven't taken care of it. I would love to be able to call up an insurance provider and just buy actual coverage but I can't it has to go through the Marketplace. At this point paying out of pocket for medical expenses is cheaper than going through this crap.

Marketplace is nothing but trash. I'm offended that this is acceptable for the people of america to have to deal with. Every single time I call in they do not have any idea of whats going on with my coverage or the fact that I even have coverage for that matter. Usually end up 3 way calling between my actual health insurance to get anywhere with them taking up lots of time.

This is a by far one of the most expensive health insurances. Huge deductibles, huge bloodwork fees, outrageous ER visits because of the "off network" clinic/hospital etc...Sorry I did not have time to check Cigna's app at 3:20am while I had a massive nose bleed. When you call to select or renew your plan the people on the phone are sort of rude and very under impressed, not a good help at all, not a piece of advice. I ended up getting private insurance with more features and for $28 more a month. Affordable Care Act, yeah right.
If you are computer savvy just do everything online or search for places in your are where people can offer some help with this health insurance options.

Worst customer service ever. Wish I could remember the man's name. Total a**. Asked a simple question and he went on a rant about how people never report things right and expect them to fix it, etc. All I did was ask how many paystubs I needed to send in, because I already sent 2 and got back a letter saying I needed more proof. Like what more proof do you need? I get same check every 2 weeks...do the math people.

Stay away, turn around and never come back. I wish i could go back in time and never even think about healthcare.gov ever again. You will leave this place with less of yourself than when you first signed up. The accountability of customer service is the worse than anything I have ever experienced, I still think I'm going to wake up from this nightmare any minute, unfortunately I'm not. If I can save one person from this dreadful experience, the world will be a better place.

Would absolutely recommend no one EVER signs up with healthcare.gov. Absolute SCAM! Make sure you know the fine print when signing up - they have the right to auto enroll you for the next 5 years without ANY consent or knowledge! The coverage is horrible, never have any health care providers with availability in network. Its just all garbage. And again, they enrolled me another year WITHOUT TELLING ME! So now I owe them for insurance I didn't know I had and NEVER signed up for..

I've been to porn sites that are more intelligent and streamlined than this nightmare. Tried to enroll 3 times, each time it asked me the same information that I had already just given, and then about midway through it just says the server is down. All I wanted to know was what plans covered what and whether I qualified. The working poor and middle class people I have talked to tell me the prices are outrageous anyway and barely cover anything. I guess I'm just going to have to pay out of pocket up front for my primary and if a catastrophic event happens I'm screwed.

I called in on 1/6/2020 to change my address. I wasn't able to do it through Providence. I was told i had to go through the market place. What a disaster. Of course it wasn't an easy change. I had to 37 mins 8 sec in order to change my ADDRESS! and on top of that i get someone who cant even understand. It sounds as if they have a mouth full of marbles. I ask for a manager and i got Dawn! now Dawn is Just like the Karen videos. As i frustrated customer just trying to change my address her approach to calming me down is to be abrasive and condescending. If i could have pulled this snot nosed millennial through the phone i would have. Beyond pissed that we already have to jump through so many hoops as it is then to have deal with these self entitled brats that think that it is ok to push their own snot nose agendas. Her tone and approach was appealing. Hey Dawn, you take some soap to that mouth of yours. Just saying. now to continue with my day as i stew on the witch's words.

I am an agent who helps people to apply for health plans. Building of this system/website costed billions of dollars, but has so many bugs, which wasted a lot of my time.
1. When my clients wanted to change just a little information, you have to go over all the steps one by one. This year, 2019, this system may be updated and a lot immigration status information were lost, I have to let them clients to send their green card, citizen shipment, etc immigration proofs, which wasted so much my and my clients' time.
2. Often it stops during application processing, and lost some data.
3. Has problems to remove a person from application
4. Verification has problem. For some applications it wouldn't give me a window allowing me to upload customers immigration proofs. AND, I sent the proofs to them by regular mails, but never got verified.

Once again the site is unavailable before the deadline has been reached. Only the government can sweep this under the rug! The picture below is what I got when trying to log in. Needless to say, the telephone lines were inoperative also.

Absolutely the worst customer service even when you ask for a manager or supervisor they are rude, uneducated about the process and brush you off easily to figure it out or help yourself. WHY ARE THESE MY OPTIONS FOR HEALTH INSURANCE? I'm paying them with my tax dollars and on the phone for over an hour and still can't get it right!?

I sure hope that some poor, sick souls somewhere are benefiting from ObamaCare...
This 40K per year family is getting destroyed by it (Terrible customer service, monthly premiums, deductibles, etc.) I can's write anymore.

Perhaps training personnel or actually having a website that is not broken 90% of the time? Trying to make a simple application change so that we can pay the premium, but the site doesn't work, directs us to call.......... 60 minutes later, we are STILL trying to get this done. NO EXCUSE for this kind of systemic failure.

My son called HealthCare Marketplace back today because when he applied on 11/8 for December 2019 coverage with a girl named Tia, he told her he wanted the $600 deductible plan that covered prescription drugs BEFORE the deductible was met. I found out while trying to fill a prescription today for him that she put him down for the plan where you had to pay the deductible first resulting in his prescription costing $415, which he can not afford! When he called there today, a "supervisor", a woman who sounded Mexican or something, told him he could appeal but it would take 30 days blah blah blah. When he went off on her asking her how he was going to get the drugs he needs now and about how he picked the right plan and THEY were the ones who put down the wrong one, ms. professional supervisor hung up on him. That was her answer to his problem which THEY caused! These people need to be cleaned out and replaced with actual professionals! No wonder why they have NEVER gotten one good review! Typical clueless government workers and the so-called supervisors are totally unprofessional and suck!

I was browsing healthcare.gov plans through the marketplace and noticed a HUGE discrepancy. After you apply for coverage for 2020, in the section where you are able to enroll for a plan, there are many plans displayed to select. I noticed that the overview of the plans on the healthcare.gov website for some plans had a large red x next to Humira (the drug for my arthritis) meaning the plan did not cover the drug.
I noticed when I went into further detail and clicked on all of the PDF's of the plan especially in the covered drug pdf, it turns out that Humira was indeed covered through the plan. I called and spoke with a floor manager at the marketplace who said that the insurances are the ones who update the information so there is nothing that can be done.
PLEASE LOOK AT WHAT YOUR INSURANCE COVERS IN THE BENEFITS AND COVERED DRUG SECTION PDF DOCUMENTS AND DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE HEALTHCARE.GOV WEBSITE SAYS, CHECK THAT YOUR DOCTORS ARE COVERED EVEN IF MARKETPLACE SAYS THEY ARE COVERED!!!! DO NOT PAY MORE MONEY OR GET A LESS THAN IDEAL PLAN BECAUSE YOU DID NOT DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE AND THOUGHT SOMETHING WASNT COVERED WHEN IT WAS COVERED. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
