Shockingly unprofessional and over the top rude treatment regarding complaint on purchase!
I don't mind paying for quality and I take very good care of my things.
I bought a jacket in May 2018 and when I came home, I discovered two small tears on the left sleeve.
Due to a severe personal tragedy that involved 5 months hospitalization, I wasn't able to make a claim to the shop until Sept. 2018, which I explained the first time I was in touch with the company. I delivered the jacket for examination and was told I would be contacted within the following week which didn't happen. I got in touch for a follow up where I was met by the rudest and most unprofessional person I've ever encountered, "Morten”. He started by asking me if I really thought he was stupid enough to believe that I would have bought a jacket that was ripped! I told him that the jacket had never been used and tried to explain that the tears where so small that I even had difficulties finding them to show the man behind the counter when I made my claim.
He then raised his voice talked to me as if I was lying and consciously trying to cheat my way to a refund. When I asked him directly if he was calling me a liar and accusing me of cheating, he said YES! (I have 2 witnesses to this conversation.) I have never in my 56 years been spoken to, or treated in that manor!
I eventually got a rejection for my claim as it was stated that "it was most likely was me that had damaged the jacket".
I would have thought that by examining the jacket (they certainly had enough time to do so!), they would have been able to see that the jacket hadn't been used!
It was very, very unusual circumstances and unfortunate that I wasn't able to make my claim earlier, but I really don't find it reasonable that I have to pay for damaged goods.
So, I'd advise anyone who takes the chance to buy from Havhoekeren to make ABSOLUTELY sure that they check, and recheck their purchase for any faults! Do not expect a refund, repair or to be met professionally if you need costumer service!

Ud fra Havhøkerens/Mortens tilbagemelding kan jeg da i hvert tilfælde konstatere, at han fastholder sin anklage om at jeg er en løgner, såvel som en bedrager.
Jeg vil lige påpege, at jeg inden telefonisk kontakt med Havhøkeren, skriftligt kun efterlyste en opdatering på sagen. En reklamation ville jo kunne indbefatte reparation og jeg havde således ikke nødvendigvis forventet penge i retur. Jeg købte jo jakken fordi jeg kunne lide den.
Mailen lød som følgende: ” Jeg afleverede min aldrig brugte nye blå “Active Camel” jakke der havde rift på venstre arm den 13.10 til en herre i forretningen. Jeg har ikke fået penge i retur, eller andet og venter stadig på, at I tager kontakt med hvad der videre skal ske.”
En overordnet høj rankering i Trustpilot har ingen relevans i forhold til min klage på elendig og ubehøvlet kundeservice. Ligeledes er det irrelevant om der tidligere har været reklamationer på jakker af samme mærke. Jeg forholder mig kun til min oplevelse og mit tilfælde og hvor de to små rifter på hhv. 0,7 mm. og 1,2 cm. opstod, vil jeg ikke forsøge at gøre mig klog på. Jeg vil lige pointere, at min kritik kun omhandler min telefoniske kontakt med såkaldte kundeservice.
Jeg stiller mig meget undrende til påstanden om, at fotos af jakken kunne bekræfte at jakken havde været brugt (jeg ville gerne have vedhæftet billeder) og jeg er altså stadig nødt til, at kigge godt efter for at finde rifterne. Jeg vil for en god ordens skyld påpege, at omtalte jakke har nu været i brug hele 4 gange.
