I experienced two cancellations the day before the cleaning job, and my friend also experienced a no-show despite an agreement, which left me with a big cleaning task. I am very dissapointed with this company, if the cleaners simply cancell agreements the day before or on the very same day and I have no guarantee for a substitute helper. I would never use happy helper again.

To Whom it may concern.
I booked a helper to clean my flat that was empty. Easy job for 5,5 hours one would think. Instead the helper couldn’t do it in time and suggested that I transferred via mobilepay for extra hours which I did. After spending additional 6 hours the flat was still not properly cleaned. I then complained with the only rude answer from HappyHelper that they would not help as I had transferred money outside their platform. Nothing mentioned about their cleaner couldn’t clean a flat spending 11 hour+. As a nice finishing touch, the cleaner actually threatened me due to the complaint. I am now excluded from happy helper, but then again I would NEVER use them. HOPELESS hostile “service”

I have been using this service on an off for two years, both at work and at home. Since it is so difficult to get a cleaner in who actually pays taxes, this service end up being my last resort every time. There are a series of problems with the cleaners
1. They cancel more than 50 % of the time
2. Other people show up who are not the person you hired
3. The cleaners always accept booking they cannot actually take and try to get you to change your timing
4. We actually have sensors on all doors and windows, which means that I can see I paid for 5 hours and got 1h 37 minutes of cleaning last week.
5. They are not professional cleaners, which means they often use the products wrong
I understand that it can be hard to control all the independent contractors, but at the end of the day, it is HH's responsibility. I also doubt the legality of sending another person than the one named in the booking, when you have to report their CPR number to get your government refund. Ultimately, from a business point of view, you can survive in the long run when your cleaners are this unreliable.

I got cancelled on four out of five times before I finally got my place cleaned. It seems that there are no consequences for the cleaners when they cancel a confirmed booking, since customers can only review cleaners who have actually done work. So you have all these highly rated cleaners who can keep accepting and cancelling bookings without any consequence to themselves.
If you complain to HH, they tell you that there is very little they can do, as the cleaners are independent contractors. So what are we paying HH for then if they cannot guarantee quality service?
With this in mind, the price of cleaning is too high considering what you get: Students who are not professional cleaners. I put that down to HH taking a rather large comission for simply connecting the cleaners with customers on their website (and not much else it would seem). A website that, by the way, could use some work. Epecially the mobile version.
All in all a very disappointing experience. I really wanted to like this concept, as it’s difficult to get good, reliable, and decently priced cleaning in Denmark. Sadly, HH falls short of expectations. I will not be using them again.

This report is concerning both Happy Helpers incredibly poor cleaning performance and their insurance company Tryg's irresponsible coverage of Happy Helpers damage caused in private home.
We incurred significant damage to our wooden floors after having used a Happy Helper cleaner despite simple and careful instructions for care were given to the acclaimed cleaning professional in the cleaners profile.
Happy Helper's insurance Tryg, has only approved repairing of the damages. However, the damages made will take 3 days to fix and all furniture will need to be removed from the apartment, in which we cant live during the repairs.
Tryg refuses to cover these expenses, which are directly caused by Happy Helpers performance in our home. This means that using Happy Helper suddenly can become a very expensive and exhausting experience.
Beware of Happy Helpers low standard of quality of cleaner and that using this service may not protect you or your home more than another reasonably priced service.
Bottom line: I highly recommend not using Happy Helper. You'd be better off doing the work yourself.

I have a small studio apartment that I had a person from Happy Helpers come clean.
There was loads of dust still lying around after, on the floors, baseboards and my bookshelf. The floors had not been washed although we specifically spoke about it.
Worst of all, as I complained and showed photo and film material, their response was that it was okay because ’it looks to be a small area.’
No help, no way to solve this, no compensation. Not happy, not helping, and certainly not a returning a customer.

I’m so dissatisfied with this service, I try many times to book a helper but they cancel last minute and for the 4 times that someone came to clean the cleaning was terrible, the people there doesn’t have any experience and I book people that say “had experience in hotels and cleaning for years” it wasn’t true, I even try to contact them and they stop replying my emails.

Generally please with my cleaning lady, but when she informed HappyHelper.dk that she was stopped, I was never notified, but their APP continue sending me reminder of the next day cleaning.
If a person of what ever reason stops with HappyHelper, I am just question who's interest it is that the customer continue using their service, therefore I don't understand, why I was not notified by HappyHelper??
Furthermore when I first booked, I had to go thru several people before I found someone, as the requested time I had was not option for the person I booked.
I understand the people who wish the money that they try to get people to agree to another time, so they can make the money, but it should simple not be the option, if I request a cleaning for Thursday morning 7AM, I should only get the option of the people able to come during this period, not all the clears.
Also if I or the cleaning lady wish to cancel a cleaning, why isn't this possible via the app. I wasn't even able to cancel my service with my cleaning lady via the app, without calling the service center.
Also why isn't HappyHelper follow up with the customer using the APP, I am really question what the service fee I pay to HappyHelper.dk is going too, the shareholders! Simple ask you customer for suggestion which improvements they wish, probably something which should have been done before going on the stockmarket.
Generally the App could be great, but there are many improvement too be made, I could probably continue on the App.

The concept sounded like a good idea and i got a code for one hour free cleaning. So i thought let’s try it. The først person i booked send me a message that she wasn’t available. So i booked another person with the reductioncode. This person however doesn’t reply or doesn’t cancel my order. I then try to book a third person but now i can’t use my reductioncode anymore so i contact support. Still no answer from support after 3 days. Seems like a good idea but in the practise it doesn’t seem to work.

Ordered a service. The person didn't turn up! No feedback whatsoever.
Talked to their customer service, that explained very kindly that their Helper never accepted the booking. This is not detected in their system and no message is sent to the customer. In 2017. It might also be lost in all the meaningless info I've received. Blows!

"Since we are only a contact platform, it's always important to follow up on your booking:-)"
Funny, apologetic and pure nonsense. You're providing a service: establishing the contact. And you utterly failed.

I received an absolutely terrible clean and after explaining how bad it was to a representative, I was told that my only option was to receive one hour discounted off the next clean (you must book minimum 2.5 hours each time). I think its completely unjust to have to pay for a service that isn't fulfilled. Sadly, this company does not care to lose customers as long as they don't need to compensate you.
The helper mopped the floor before she vacuumed so that there were pieces of hair and dust stuck all around the edges of the floor, no surfaces has been dusted and the apartment just looked as it was before the cleaning. To make things worse the apartment was completely tidy before the helper arrived and ONLY needed to be cleaned so it was unacceptable that there was still dust and hair on most surfaces. Stainless steel taps hadn't been wiped down and there were still crumbs on parts of the floor.
It's disappointing that you don't know what you will get when someone comes out and the company just doesn't have a proper way of taking responsibility.
