HappyCar was easily to find on internet and offers a lot of other car rental companies. Good descriptions about conditions car rentals. Good contact by telephone, e-mail and text message (SMS).

We were informed that our indicated email was incorrect and that we were called via phone for confirmation. Apologies to happy car for the misunderstanding.
We just asked alamo upon arrival and fortunately we were able to get the car without any hassle. It would have been better if we were informed of the process but all worked out in the end.
Hi we have not yet received any confirmation until now. We will be arriving today 10 am and we were already charged 125 dollars without any confirmation. Booking was made more than 72 hrs ago. We like to refund this if we cant make use of your services. This was supposed to be a fun trip but we are having problems already without even arriving yet.

Happycar s agent is happy to take the same rental price again once the card details are obtained ..

Terrible, Never again! I felt for the cheap price, it was a good lessons. On there site they said the pick up and drop off was 24/7, but they didn’t mention it would cost me €50 extra. They screwed up my reservation, but when you try to contact them you won’t get any response, they contacted me 3days later when I was already on the other side of the world. At least I payed on credit card, and was able to dispute it, and won the case as the again never responded! Never again!

Be careful. I have a reservation with an additional driver inclusive and then I must pay for it? Your system said it is inclusive... your company sucks!

Always easy to rent. Quality of the cars/rentals is dependent on the final company you get. But you can cancel for free, so no problem there.

I just had a most unhappy experience with happycar.com
Happycar.com had great prices listed on their site so I booked a car only to have them contact me to say that for undisclosed reasons, my booking could not be completed but no worries as they had another offer available. Since it was just a little bit more expensive I decided to book that car instead.
Well this happened 2 more times when finally on the THIRD TIME the offer was now not even cheaper than the competition and the location of my rental was moved from the airport to an off site vendor.
This process stretched over a couple or 3 days and completely wasted my time, not to mention I almost missed out on the other legitimate deals that I had found elsewhere AND I had to give my credit card details to happycar.com
After all this, I searched their site again just to see what would happen and sure enough there was the same fantastic deal listed that they have no intention of letting anyone book.
I would avoid trying to book a rental car with happycar.com at all costs unless you enjoy playing bait and switch on the losing end.

SCAMMERS and THIEVES! BEWARE!!!!!!
I have booked and paid for in advance a 35 day car rental in Warsaw with a request for a cross borer access to France. The voucher has been issued to me confirming the rental. After a 40hr trip from Australia to Warsaw, I have discovered that I can not take the car outside of Poland and thus been refused a car by the agency. I have tried to contact Happycar via phone to change a provider or arrange a refund (a UK number) only to be played a recorded message IN FRENCH!!! asking me to select some options from a menu and then has been placed on hold. After waiting on hold for an hour, I got eventually cut off by the telephone company and billed international roaming rates. So I tried to get online after accessing the net at the airport only to discover that their office hours are from 9 to 11am Monday to Friday local time (through a third party review) and hence they scam you even when you need to get their help urgently!!!!! I have learned from their website that the only way to get help is via e-mail, which they answered more than 24 hrs later!!!!! Their resolution? They informed me that they e-mailed me while I was in the air, informing me that I will not be able to take the car out of Poland. Not even a hint of solution was offered and no suggestion of a refund or alternative arrangement. Further e-mails were not answered and so I will now have to fight them through the legal system. I can't believe that such a group of thieves and scammers is allowed to operate by regulators in Europe or wherever they are. So beware, especially if you are from a different continent, as being stranded and ripped off in a country half a world away is no fun and you can't even call the Police, as they operate somewhere in the cyberspace....
This is the worse car rental experience I had ever had, and I travel frequently all over the world. Save yourselves money and frustrations and go elsewhere,

I booked a car with this company, then there was a random $50 charge on my card from *CARHIRE, I did not at any point throughout the reservation process agree to paying anything until I picked the car up a month later. I e-mailed twice asking what the charge was for, did not get a response. I disputed the charge and then got a e-mail notice that my reservation had been canceled by the provider.. TOTAL SCAM ALERT!!!

Happycar is a very unorganised and deceiving company that exploits situations like flight delays to overcharge customers. I absolutely RECOMMEND TO NOT USE IT. Here's a summary of my story: I rented online a car with Happycar from Catania airport for few days. The price and the car were a very good deal. My flight was delayed of 1 hour and when I arrived to the desk to get the keys of my car they told me that my car was no longer available. I had to book a different car more expensive and with less comforts. The company was supposed to be aware of my delay because when I booked online I correctly provided the flight code that they use to check for delays , but they did't see that information coming in the system for an undefined error. (How convenient, right?!). I was assured by the employs at the desk that I would have been able to claim back the extra money I've been unfairly charged. After few month of miscommunications where I was again ensured that the refund was already processed and on his way , they sent an email saying that they can't offer the refund for this case.

SCAM WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This is the first thing I am doing to tell everyone this company is a scam. I booked online and when i got to the car rental for pick up (10 Min early) I was told I could not get the car with a valid, government issued drivers license. i was told I needed a passport or a valid ID (Isn't that what a government issued drivers license is?) This is a scam. I tried calling every number on the rental agreement and no answer in NL, DE, or UK. I have called my credit card company to block any charges for the car. I will also be doing everythign to make sure this company is penalised through official government channels. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL

We are very unhappy, this location is not at the airport, we had to take a cab from the airport and will also have do this in reverse. My husband is disabled and I have 2 small children so this was most inconvenient. When someone books a car at “Tampa airport” location they expect it to be AT the airport. We were able to get a car at a location $20 cab ride from the airport, but not the car we originally picked :-(
I tried calling their number in Germany and could not connect.
They are no longer responding to my emails.
The worst part was that I asked for a booster and car seat and there are not any child seats ever available for rent at this location. This has put our children in danger and we have had to rush to find a place to rent one.
Please just book directly from a car rental company. Not worth the seeming savings.

19-10-2018 On location there was no car. We tried tom call them but nobody was there. After long time I spoke a lady and she confirmed that we could hire a car ourselves, we can get the money back later. 19-2-2019 Still no money is payed because the third party (Wisecars) want a receipt, but we have a original contract (signed)! Our advise: Don't trust this company, they let you down, they promise you everything and they do do nothing. They are scammers!

The car we got was even a category higher than expected.

STAY AWAY - SCAM
I got a booking from them for a small car in France last month.
It was only marginally cheaper than the next best offer that was Europcar,
EUR 32.94 instead of EUR 35.00.
The booking takes you through all the motion to payment which goes through no problem.
The day I arrive at the car rental desk in France they say they do not have the booking. So I ring them up but it is only an answer phone in Germany.
Impossible to get hold of them.
I ended up having to get a car from Europcar but at EUR 102.00.
What a rip off. NEVER AGAIN.
Pay the extra couple of kid because these people are ROGUE TRADERS.

I've overpaid +100Euro for renting car which was not the one I had booked. Also they claimed everything was ok, but it wasn't. Happycar is not reachable by phone from any country. Look out!

Avoid them. The staff was very friendly but incredibly unprofessional. There was an issue with the rental company, which can happen ... But they never got in touch about it or communicated after they finally realised there was an issue
I had to call them a lot of times to understand what was going on and at the end had to find a last minute alternative (trains + 1 bus).

This is a scam don't do business with this company. Booking was confirmed by happycar but the rental company claimed not to have received any booking and did not have a car available. My credit was charged non the less. Happycar was not reachable by phone and did not respond to email.

Guys, Don't even think to book cars from this guys in case you might need to cancel the booking!!
I booked car from happycar.com when I was planning to visit Orlando. After reading their policy I realized that they provides limited miles with the price they shown and charges extra per miles.
I tried to cancel the booking when I found better deals from other sites. I sent them cancellation email before 24 hours of booking and kept on sending emails for 3-4 days but they never responded me back.
They haven’t provided any contact details other than just email address to which they never respond.
