I really didn't have a problem with them at all. The only thing is that the van had some controls that I was not familiar with that would've saved me some minor problems latter on. I did have a problem with the heater which was repaired as soon as we could get to a place that was capable of fixing it. It was a three week rental. I just wish the weather had been as good as the folks at happy camper. They gave me some good advice concerning insurance and other issues that are somewhat unique to Iceland. I was picked up and taken back to the airport as they said they would do. I will go with them again on my next adventure back to Iceland.

The van was very comfortable. Would recommend to spend and make the beddings/linens to be little bit nicer like color coordinated and newer. Also need a dry rack for the dishes. Also to have a better locking mechanism for the drawers it tends to slide out when we turn. But other than that we had an excellent time in Iceland with Happy Campers.

I would give it 5 stars, but we had a slight issue with the exhaust coming into the van. We rented an older model, which was otherwise fine, but we could not leave the engine running while at a stop, or else the van would fill up with exhaust fumes. By the time we noticed the issue, we were far enough from Reykjavik that it wasn't convenient to drive back and exchange the van. The van has a heater that works when the van is off - but we could not warm up the van or defrost the windows in the morning.

Van was great. Very reliable and easy to drive. However the cooking stove was not good you literally could not fry an egg with it. Pick up from the airport was 20 minutes later than identified and was not welcomed after a longish over night flight. Overall my
experience with Happy Campers was positive. I received quick helpful responses from HC before picking up the vehicle and would rent from them again.

It was the start of camping season. they were over an hour late picking us up from the airport ( the worker called in sick last min ). The vehicle we rented at first had mold all throughout the vehicle, like they hadn't cleaned it before it sat outside all winter and then never cleaned it before we arrived. I mentioned it to the guy who was helping us, he got a worker to clean up the mold. Me being pregnant wasn't ok with just a quick wipe down so I asked what they could do. They upgraded us to a nicer cleaner van for no charge! Much appreciated. This van worked great, all the appliances and bedding was good and suited us just fine. Overall they were great and glad we used them !
