When I signed up for an online course (Leon Chaitow bundle, bodywork related) with this company I was told I would be given a 10% discount and wasn't. When I asked them repeatedly why not they said "your discount was already taken into consideration" and other such doublespeak. I had to really badger them to get a 10% discount (which they did finally give).
Furthermore, on their website they claim the course is taught by Leon Chaitow (an acclaimed expert in the field), but the course is not taught by him. He is currently ill and unable to teach. This being the case, I asked for a refund but they refuse, and they refuse to take responsibility for the fact that the course has no teacher (at least a teacher who is regularly available, in any sense of the word "regularly"). I have asked repeatedly for a refund or contact info for some teacher for this course but HOS refuses on both accounts. I paid $775 for a course with no teacher (and the course doesn't even include the related books.) All I ask is to have a regular teacher for the course (which the website claims they have) or a refund, but so far I cannot get either. HOS will claim that I am rude and that my demands are insatiable, so they now refuse to even respond. And yes I have been rude because I feel their conduct is unconscionable. And is it too demanding to ask for a teacher for the course I signed up for or a refund? I think not.
