I hate giving them even one star. Everything about their warranty and customer service is awful and actually quite disgusting on an economic scale and consumer scale. I have never been so disappointed in a company in my 52 years of living. They have wasted so much of my time just trying to return an item. I have officially said screw it. It is no longer worth my time after phone calls, taking pictures, writing emails and not getting responses...so I'm writing follow up emails... makes one wonder if they are going under. If so, good. You reep what you sew. just do not buy anything from Hamilton beach or from a company selling their product. Consider that your consumer to consumer warning. Thanks for reading.

I purchased the Hamilton Beach 2-way flexbrew coffee maker. I would suggest cusomers do your research before buying this coffee maker. The single brew constantly has coffee grinds in the coffee, 2 times out of 4 coffee grinds are in my coffee. even after going through the troubleshooting steps to correct the issue. I would suggest customers do some additional research on coffee makers before buying this one.

I bought a countertop oven yesterday. I went to the website to look for some recipes and warranty information. Every link went nowhere. I tried an hour later and the website was working and I can honestly say I've never seen a more poorly designed website. Broken links, no intuitive search, in fact no search capability at all. The manual is a joke and I doubt they back their warranty as this oven which is the size of a small microwave, weighs less than my coffee maker. Fortunately we have our receipt and it's going back today. A warning though if you buy a Hamilton Beach product you're on your own.

Called them to try and get a part for my water dispenser. Was told the hold time would be 13 minutes. An hour later someone finally gets on the phone and tells me they wel take my info and the water dispenser department will call me back 👌👍. Of course they never called back.

I bought a Hamilton Beach Coffee Grinder 80350R and after a few weeks, the top cover broke. I called up customer service and they said since the warranty was 7 days overdue that I would have to pay to get a replacement part. I would expect a defective part on a product to be covered under regular use. Never shopping with them again.

I will NEVER buy another Hamilton Beach product! I received a defective coffee carafe that broke for a coffee machine I had purchased and have yet to receive a replacement after being told five times in a six-month period that one Is being mailed to me.... EVERY TIME they’ve told me that it is being mailed & I never receive it! I call back... talk to someone new & they tell me one is being mailed... so I get the feeling that they are just being scandalous and lying saying they’re mailing one and really aren’t... MOST disrespectful and horrible situation I’ve ever had to deal with!

Great customer service. I am a regular user of Hamilton Beach bread maker and coffee maker. Once the tub of the bread maker had problem as it stopped spinning. The customer service shipped out a replacement bread maker and I just had to pay shipping cost. Today, I called the customer service department and told the person I need a replacement carafe of the coffee maker as it broke. I was told a replacement carafe will be shipped out to my address and I paid the shipping cost waiting for the item to arrive in a couple weeks. Of course, these were within the warrantee period. I appreciate the care taken by the company's customer care department.

Bought a brew staistion coffee maker that lasted about a year before it just stopped pumping. Since that time I've have been trying for a month to get through to someone to warranty my machine. Over an hour on the phone waiting each time no even any hold music so you can't even be sure the call didn't disconnect. The recoding tells you that you can hang up and leave a call back number and the next available agent will call you back. We'll it's been over a month and no call. Looking at the rest of the reviews on this site. I probably won't be happy if I finally get through to someone anyway.
The American site allows you to email the info to them. They obviously have more respect for their American consumers. I will not be buying their products again.

Please do bot buy any Hamilton Beach products. There is no customer service. Just a recorded annoying message. You will be on hold for more than an hour and will eventually disconnect after frustration. Please try yourself by calling 1 800 267 2826. Return your products back to Wal Mart immediately. Company does not meet the North American Standards for customer service.

Bought a Hamilton Beach 10 cup food processor through Best Buy on Black Friday 2018. Product delivered in December and we USED it maybe 2 times, n the 3 rd time it stopped working. Emailed the Canadian customer service, and instead of being customer focused, they asked questions such as - what was the foods that were processed in there? I sd have replied them ‘STONES’ - Awful experience for a BAD workmanship unit!!! The Hamilton beach company should be shamed for treating their customers so disrespectfully. Now they want us to cut the cord, send the photos PLUS PAY xtra $$ to get another machine!
Most annoying n frustrating experience- I WILL MAKE SURE TO DETER EVERYONE I KNOW FROM BUYING ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS!

I have been trying for months to get the correct beaters etc. for the stand mixer I purchased from Hamilton Beach. Forget getting customer service on the phone. After combined time of over two hours on hold I finally messaged them. I heard back immediately to let me know it would be about two weeks before they would contact me. I got a message two weeks later, explained the problem, they finally agreed I was correct and for $5.99 shipping they would send the correct ones. They sent only the beaters and they were the exact same size that I had. I had sent pictures showing the size right from the start. Stall tactics and just trying to discourage you enough that you will give up. I can't even rate the mixer as I can't use it correctly with these beaters. Bad bad bad customer service!!! Do not buy their products.

I purchased a Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker from Walmart. It didn't even last a year. I took the receipt back to Walmart and was told that their warranty only covered 90 days and I would have to contact Hamilton Beach directly. That is when my nightmare began. I phoned the Hamilton Beach and spoke to a representative on the phone. She informed me that I would have to cut the cord of the coffee maker and send in photos of it with the cord cut. We did that, 3 different photos from various angels. I also sent in the model and series number, everything that was requested. After waiting over a week, and not getting a response I called again, and had to wait over 2 hours for a call back. The women who called back had zero human relations skilled, sounded totally bored, unengaged. No mention of the long wait...2 hours. After having found my file she asked if I was willing to pay a $10 for shipping. I had no idea of where to send the cheque, and they had no idea of where to send the coffee maker. In the end, the phone went dead and I'm not sure if she hung up or we were cut off. You can be rest assured that I will never purchase a Hamilton Beach product again and will be sure to let everyone I know of my experience.

Really disappointing experience with Hamilton Beach.
I understand their limited warranty policy and never thought would need to worry about it. But right now I am really dissatisfied at both their product and customer service. I bought their electric kettle and less than a year it started to leak, and I was told to pay the shipping in order for a replacement which does not come with a warranty. Can't believe I have to pay for the shipping on the product that the company doesn't have enough confidence to guarantee. If I have to spend money, with my current poor experience with Hamilton Beach, I might as well go for other brands.

My blender was in warranty and I sent them photos and shipping charges($11.49) to send me the replacement and they said it will be delivered to me within 5-7 business days. After waiting for 10 business days there was no update and hence I called customer care and surprisingly they were yet yo process it. Again I was asked to wait for 5-7 business days and again I contacted them after 5 days and this time I came to know that the model is out of stock when they were processing. So if it was out of stock then why they didn't informed me Instead waiting for me to contact them. Also they said they don't know when the unit will be available may be 6-8 weeks for which I can not take risk based on recent experience. So fnally after wasting more than 3 weeks I requested them to refund shipping charges which I paid, let's see how match time they are taking now.
Update 1: After almost 3 days no sign of refund of shipping charges which I paid.
Update 2 : Again after 3 days of initial commitment I am asked to wait for another 3 days for refund. So total almost a month starting from 2-Nov -- 30-Nov. Really frustrating.

The design and thoughts behind this baby food maker was great and looks very convenient and we bought this to prepare food for our son, but after 6 months of use, we realized how poorly designed it was and how bad the quality was too. The chopping blade piece would not hold still in the socket and a few times, it few out and scratched the bowl. And just a few days ago, during a blending session, 1 blade broke and came off. We stopped the machine as soon as we felt something went wrong and found the broken blade inside the food we were preparing.
Another not well thought design is the bowl itself. There's a part of the bowl that is designed to let steam and juice escape, but that part cannot be cleaned inside. There's only a tiny hole to let water in to rinse, but impossible to scrub and really clean the residue inside and with time, it becomes dirty and as much as we try to rinse it with soap, I'm sure there's a lot of bacteria that is form there.
The Hamilton Beach customer service was similar to the product. We thought they were helpful in the beginning, but only to be deceived in the end. Even though the product was still under warranty, they finally decided not to send free replacement parts and told us we need to buy them. Even though we bought it from a USA merchant, because we use the product outside of the USA, they void the warranty.
