We ordered replacement flaps for our custom made pet door that fits in one of our french door panels. We ordered our pet door 9 years ago and Hale Pet Door still had our original order which made it very easy to order the replacement flaps in the correct size. They were a perfect fit. Our pet door looks brand new again. Thank you for still having our original information.

This door was well made and easy to install because of that. It is weather tight and I have no complaints.

This is the second pet door we've purchased. The quality of the product is great and the customer service is super!!!! Everyone I talked to was knowledgeable and very kind! Add the fact that customers that adopt a rescue dog get a discount AND a contribution to the rescue group! So happy with this purchase!

I bought the Hale Pet Door for a screen door. It is a great product. I would buy it again and recommend it to others.

I recommend patience when ordering. Here’s my story:

Hale recently moved their manufacturing from Phoenix to Colorado and the new operation is not working smoothly yet. I place my order on Saturday 8/1/2015. I expected this to ship in a few business days. By 8/10 I had not received an email telling me it had shipped, so I called to inquire. I was told that it was taking them about 5 business days to process and ship orders. This was only the sixth business day. My order was shipping that day and I should receive an email with the tracking #. It actually shipped the next day and arrived on 8/13. They shipped the wrong color stabilizer bar. When I called, they gave me an RMA # and had FedEx pick it up the next day. The correct color stabilizer bar arrived a few days later. I had everything I needed and started my installation. I quickly learned that I had the installation instructions and hardware for the standard door and not the universal door. I found this from a video created by one of their resellers. Another phone call and a few more days and I had this corrected. I restarted the installation. I noticed that the new stabilizer bar had a large scratch in it. Because this was cosmetic and should not affect the strength of it, I decided to proceed without requesting an undamaged one. I also didn’t want to wait any longer to install the door.

After almost 3 weeks and 3 separate shipments (it could have been 4 if I wanted the stabilizer bar replaced) I completed the installation. I also had to run out to the hardware store to buy some silicone for the installation. Was it worth it? Yes, the Hale Pet Door is a great product. The company may make a few mistakes executing your order. Be patient. It will only cost you some time and it is worth it.

I bought a door that goes into brick walls. Unless you're an expert I'd recommend getting a Hale approved installer. Count on doubling the cost, but it's worth it.

The doggie door that I ordered from Hale Pet Door is, by far, the best one that I have ever owned. It is very slim, blocks wind and rain, and is aluminum--not cheap plastic that will crack after a few years of sun.

We have had a Hale Dog Door for nearly 10 years. We have replaced the flaps a couple of times. We recently built a screened in porch so we ordered another Hale for there. We have two large, young, rambunctious Irish Setters, who tear in and out all the time. We would never buy any other kind of dog door. This is a great company buy with confidence.

We received the flaps very wuickly. The flaps were easy to install. The only problem we had is it took our dog a few days to go through the door. He did not like the clear flaps. I think seeing clearly out the door scared him

I am very happy with the product I bought from Hale, but I am just as happy about the customer service I received from them. When I compl[ete the installation properly, they were quick to send me additional materials at no charge and provide more direction to help me.

They made it easy and my dog door works and looks great.

The item was well packed and promptly shipped. Now the fun part begins trying to take out the old flaps and replace the new flaps

I didn't install the door myself, but the person who did it for me did it with ease. My 2 cats (one 4 months the other 15 yrs) took a couple of days to adjust to it, neither having used an exterior cat door before, but it's been great so far. I have only had it in warmer weather so far, but it seems as though it will provide an adequate barrier against the cold and rain.

I avoided getting a pet door too long. It is saving me so many trips to the door with my four dogs. It took awhile to get them to use it. In fact, I had to order two training flaps to finally get them to go through freely. Will replace with original flaps when weather gets bad. My daughter likes mine so much that she is having one installed next week.

I purchased the door and installed it years ago. It's has been great. The outside door flap yellowed form age. It was good to see that I could get parts. I was surprised that one Medium Tall flap was $45. Even more surprised that it was $18 to ship. Seemed kinda high to me. The flap arrived with new felt and magnets. I guess that justified the cost of the part. But $18 to ship seems like a lot.

Ordered custom dog door for Great Dane who is 38 1/2 inches tall at the shoulders.Well constructed product and on time delivery.

We needed a way to let them run in and out of our yard when we were home and not have them destroy the screen on the door each time. The Hale Pet door was it! The customer service in configuring the door, the videos on how to install, and the well written and comprehensive directions made this intimidating project a breeze. I would definetly recommend the product, it's quality and the experience. This was a no stress experience and the digs love it!

My husband installed it. Seemed relatively easy. Dogs and cat use it to go into or fenced back yard. Would recommend it.

Great dog door. I have two doors. Hale doors cost twice as much as the competition but they last more than twice as long. I just added a second door, this one in my Lanai screen room. My original Hale door is still going strong, I installed that one in 1997. I have three 100lb German Shrpherds and these doors really get used.

I have this extra large dog for installed for over 7 Yeats and 4 different dogs. It is sturdy and we'll built. The double flap design with magnets does a good job of keeping out the weather, both hot and cold.
My only complaint is the cost of replacement flaps. And the "handling" fee.

I plan to install this dog door in my next home.

My second Hale after decades of installing marginal products.
