I bought Hair Story’s New Wash which is backed up by a 30 day if-you-don’t-like-it-money-back-guarantee. I emailed them to say it wasn’t working for me and how do I arrange to return it. I’ve had no response. I’ve emailed, Tweeted, Instagrammed (lots of times) - no response at all. Lousy customer care. Lousy product too.

I have tried New Wash, and it was not for me. However, the shipping back to the US cost the same as I would get as refund. Hairstory refunded the price of the product without me shipping the half bottle back. This is just amazing customer service!

When i received my package the top had unscrewed and a little bit had spilled. When i contacted Hairstory they responded within 24h and send me a replacement bottle right away. Wonderful cutomer service!
I also LOVE the product. It took a little trial and error, but i have now figured out how the product works best for me.

The shampoo made my hair awfully greasy and dull - no matter how much I tried. They keep telling customers that you have to keep trying it and one day, one day it will work. I didn't have the will to walk around with such awful hair day out and in and asked for a refund. They claim they have a generous return policy but didn't respond to my requests for weeks and when I got in touch on their FB page I noticed others too were waiting- and they claimed they had never received my requests plus that I was not in their database. A month later after my first request they finally agreed to refund me but then subsequently blocked me. Avoid at all cost - a terrible experience
